VictorianSqualor · 18/01/2008 16:31

LOL scorpio, just make a photobucket album or something to share them.

OP posts:
scorpio1 · 18/01/2008 16:58

i don't know how to do a photobucket thing.

VictorianSqualor · 18/01/2008 17:13

Once your pics are on your pc go to www.photobucket.com and register for an account, then all you do is 'browse' for the photos you want to add, click 'upload' and they are all in an online photo album, then you can link us to it and we can all look.
Also good for saving photos if your PC crashes or something!

You might also want to look here by the way

Scorpio, get off this thread now and enjoy the evening before your wedding!!! Have a fabulous time. I am sure it will be wonderful!

Denny185 · 18/01/2008 18:00

Scorpio all the best for tomorrow have afab day.

Vs - your DD sounds v sim to mine, we have to allow half hour extra for staring into space time, v diff to deal with when tierd yourself isnt it? Hope you catch up on some sleep over the weekend and feel a bit more relaxed by sun night.

Ellie - glad theres nothing wrong, hopefully the tummy pains are all related to the stretching and will therefore be over in less than 3 months

Velbels - my appointments have the same spacing but Im not planning a home birth, do the MW's know you'd like a home birth? Someone else on here was having their entenox arranged the other week (??? Peachy - prob wrong though). As Ellie said you may need to start doing some research, can you bring your app forward and go armed with list of questions?

Knitter - we had the same issues when DD started school, the COE school have really small class sizes but the overall offsteads were/are similar. DH wanted her to go to COE school - required child to be baptised and be an active member of the church community, I said happy to go along with it if he arranged baptism and went with her to all the church activities, needless to say shes going to the local state school! So far happy with the education she is receiving there, and they are covering all religions, backgrounds, celebrations etc so she will be able to choose when shes older if she wants to follow any religion in specific.

Hope you all have a good weekend, DH home this weekend so hoping for some nice weather to get out of the house cheaply.

Peachy · 18/01/2008 18:57

scorpio posted a link for you further down m'dear!

Mum2b2BabyRoo · 18/01/2008 19:09

Good luck for tomorrow Scorpio! Hope you have a really lovely day and look forward to seeing the pics!

Bainmarie · 18/01/2008 19:15

Have a lovely day tomorrow Scorpio!

lorisparkle · 18/01/2008 19:32

Have a fab day tomorrow scorpio

Ellie - Fingers crossed no more 'wierd' pains for you

VS - sounds like you need some TLC. Could you organise yourself a bit of space to chill.

I'm starting to get worried about the birth. I never experienced labour last time so am more nervous than before. I'm seeing the consultant in a couple of weeks time to discuss options about VBACs etc so we will see what happens

Have a good weekend everyone

Fleecy · 18/01/2008 20:11

Velbels, I had a homebirth with dd - I was told you can't have a homebirth until you're at least 37 weeks (otherwise it counts as premature labour and you have to go into the hospital) so the midwife saw me at 36 weeks and gave me a list of stuff to get. It was just stuff like plastic sheeting (I bought a couple of tarpaulins from the local Poundshop), a couple of cardboard boxes lined with bin liners so they could clear up afterwards, and a torch - partly in case of powercuts and partly so if the lighting's not great, they can shine the torch at you and get a good look. Seriously. Dh shone the torch pointed towards my bits while the midwife did my stitches. Sorry if TMI! I think it's my least dignified moment ever...

I didn't have to arrange the gas and air or anything like that. So you might want to check but I wouldn't worry too much about not being prepared for the homebirth. But I would have thought they should have mentioned ante-natal classes by now. I think mine were from 32-36 weeks.

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow Scorpio - hope you have a really fab day.

VictorianSqualor · 18/01/2008 21:02

I've just had dinner from the chip shop, I'm looking at the most GORGEOUS nursing bra's you ever did see, and then I'm having hot chocs with marshmallows made by DP, then sinking into my lovely warm bed, hopefully sleeping

Where did you get lovely nursing bras from VS? I want some!

VictorianSqualor · 18/01/2008 21:37

hot milk
They are actually sexy!!!

They do some of them at bravissimo too, but the brand is hotmilk, the only ones I could find.

velbels · 18/01/2008 21:47

Thanks Denny. My midwife does know but i think i am just being impatient as they can't agree yay or nay yet anyway. My own research it is atm then!

Thant's helpful Fleecy to know there is not much to arrange if i do go ahead

Bainmarie · 18/01/2008 21:51

Thanks for that, feel a little shopping spree coming on

Fleecy · 18/01/2008 21:54

Ooh VS - pretty. I got 2 nursing bras for £5 in BHS sale last time. Needless to say, they weren't the most attractive things I've ever worn and i was hoping to get something a bit nicer this time so I've added them to my favourites.

I think we all deserve something cute after we've got through the birth! When should we measure up for nursing bras? I can't remember.

VictorianSqualor · 18/01/2008 22:12
