HAd an exam today and i think i passed it so having a really good day so far.. Well apart from DP wanting his leg over lastnite and i told him to go away, so he is in bad form with me! O well i am PG, feel like crap and tired what the hell did he expected!!!!

isaidhohoho · 07/12/2007 16:37

at minnie1 and her DH's legover!

My DH always moans how I'm not one of those woman for whom pregnancy means constant randiness!

I mean, honestly, my tits hurt, I feel fat, when I go to bed I only want to sleep!

Is anyone truly and honestly up for it at the mo?

OP posts:
sweetkitty · 07/12/2007 16:47

Definitely not up for it, am constantly shattered, DP did very tentatively broach the subject the other night, told him I would think about it and get back to him!

Minnie - we will find out the sex with this one have found out with the other two and I just like to know, also means DP and I will only have one set of names to argue about. Oh go on you can tell us if it has a tail or not we won't tell anyone - honest!

Suppose I had better go and make some dinner or something, I have some chicken breast fillets to use up for DP and the DDs, I feel sick at the thought (not that I would eat them anyway) but the thought of chicken and mash - yuck. I did have my first mince pie today though.

santascRUMPELedsuit · 07/12/2007 18:39

Mrs Wednesday so sorry to hear your awful news. Life is shit sometimes, it seems a few of us have been there before too. Big hugs ( ).xxx

Bealcain - I watched a programme once where the Mummy did that and they all ate it and thought it were lovely. Hugh Fernley Whitinstall was on Jonathon Ross the other night talking about the very same. Apparently he made it from a friends and a lady who was a veggie had 3 helpings as she had no guilt about eating it at all.

Sweetkitty - I only ever went to the Metro 3 times - the first being when I was 17 and it just opened - so you will no doubt be a good bit younger than me . Dh is from Saltcoats, I was only passing throught the 3 Towns though Bloody hate the place - so depressing, although that Catholic/Proddy nonsense.

Minnie1 me and Dh had sex once in 18 months. fell pg with LO and was so ill, then took ages to feel normal again after having her! Wemade a special effort for this one . TBH DH would definitely not wnat sex anyway when I am pg - he doesn't really like the effect it has on me (think he is a bit scared TBH). Just as well we packed it when we were younger 'cos we certainly don't participate much these days

I got my booking appointment today 3rd Jan and scan 10th Jan. I am always really anxious when going for scans so Dh will be coming with me. Scary stuff but fabulous if all is well.

Hope all you ladies are well and again to lose 5? ladies now.

santascRUMPELedsuit · 07/12/2007 18:40

Progesterone poisened brain - all that, not although.

libraladytistheseasontobejolly · 07/12/2007 18:45

Sorry to Verso and Mrs W. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families at this difficult time.

Well after all this time of saying I had no pregnancy symptoms, boy have I felt as rough as a dog today!

It all started last night when I erm passed wind when I'd just got into bed sorry if TMI, and the next thing I knew, I was gagging BIG time. My appetite hasn't been much for the last couple of days so have been living on dried fruit and nuts with the occasional bowl of pasta or rice.

Anyway, woke up this morning at 5am as usual, jumped out of bed for the obigatory pee, went downstairs and then thought I feel yuk. Had to feed the cat as he was screaming and the cat food turned my stomach!. Couldn't face my morning cup of tea, so passed on that, felt queasy when dressing DS, nearly chundered when I smelt the toast DH was making for DS for breakfast. Got into work at 7.30 and a colleague bought me a cup of coffee and well, I was nearly off and running. By then I felt sooooo hot, I had to put my fan on at my desk. Evenutually drank the coffee and felt heaps better. Went to the restaurant to get a cup of tea and a toasted tea-cake at 9.30 and felt even better. We had a cake stall at work today to raise funds for charity and someone bought us all some cakes. Ate a piece of chocolate sponge at 11 and then felt really rough again. The waves of nausea kept coming and going. Had to do the food shop at Tesco's on my way home and that was a barrel of laughs. Took me 1 1/2 hours instead of my usual 45 minutes as I had to keep stopping and composing myself. Don't know whether to actually go and be sick to see if it makes me feel better. Have told DH he will have to cook tea tonight as I cannnot face the thought. Now I really feel for you guys that have been suffering from the start. I wasn't being smug before, just concerned as I didn't really have any symptoms. Don't remember it being this bad with DS!

Sorry for the long post.

Hope everyone else is OK.

sweetkitty · 07/12/2007 22:26

Well I got the lovely organic chicken breasts out the fridge for dinner, opened the packet, got a sniff of them then threw up in the sink think they were off so binned them straight away. I had a cheese sandwich about 8pm for my dinner.

hatrick - what a mad time for a scan, hope it puts the icing on your Christmas

santa - aww here was me thinking you were a Metro regular, I'm 32 btw and was a regular there for a good few years from 16-19. I agree Saltcoats is best passed through stopping off for an ice cream. Also agree with the Catholic/Prod nonsense, I hate the west of Scotland for it, absolutely no need for it. Motherwell is OK has a bad reputation but we are in a really nice bit don't know if we will stay here for good though.

libralady - sounds like you had a rough day, early night called for I think, hope tomorrow is better for you x

paulaplumpbottom · 07/12/2007 23:21

I have actually had a good day. Maybe my morning sickness is starting to wear off

mcchesers · 07/12/2007 23:26

Hey Everyone..there's a lot of up here in Scotland, eh?

Mrs W - I know how you must feel, went through the same thing in Aug. Big hugs to you

Libra- your post sounds familiar..poor thing!
Feeling decidedly better today, which of course is worrying. All the usual suspects still present boobs, constipated, etc..but the ms has started to dissipate. I guess it comes in waves..a bit in the morning and then at 11 and then at 4..but I can usually eat something to keep it all at bay. Still tired as the tiredest thing but feeling like things are changing. One more week until the next scan. I really just want to see a squirmy wee guy in there.

Paula - You still hangin' in there hon? I'll find you a good joke this weekend.

SK- Just thinking about your bad chicken gives me the heaves. I know what you mean about the whole West of Scotland sectarianism. Ridiculous..sadly these things are hereditary. I went to a wedding in Motherwell..it seemed like a nice place to live. I'd love to get out of Glasgow..get some fresh air.

morning all.
haven't been on for a while due to moving house and general chaos.
haven't had time to read all new posts but hello to all the newbies and am so sorry to all those who had to leave.
had m/w appt yesterday and she has booked me in for an early scan on monday due to my disappearing symptoms and spotting, was supposed to be scanned on 17th so am really pleased she took my concerns seriously. thankfully we have a busy weekend visting relatives so that should keep my mind off it, but i can't help thinking the worst.
take care ladies and babies.
xx

ISHH - i am VERY randy atm, DF not tho have a very high sex drive, since 3 under 3 when this one comes lol.

Santa - it's ok for veggies to eat as nothing died to produce it.

Thanks for all the messages.

Glad to report that everything seems to be back to normal today. And boy and I glad of that. However, all of a sudden my (.)(.)s have exploded and I seem to have more of a tum overnight. Today I have had to sucumb and put on some maternity jeans and a baggy t-shirt for comfort.
Weather is completely crap outside. Typical, my DH has been collecting a new fitted bedroom we bought off e-bay and it has been raining cats and dogs. Visited my Nan this am and the roads were flooded in places!

Love the festive emotions .

Only just over 2 weeks to go! The joys
