Morning everyone. Just checking in after a terrible nights sleep. Weather is still sh*t which doesn't cheer me up. However, do all of you (like me)who are now or are nearly overdue, fancy joining me at a Take That concert www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=494985&in_page_id=1770?

Hope everyone is well and that some of you (Wizzska? ChocPeanut?) are off having your babies....

loucee · 02/12/2007 08:38

Morning

Yeah quiet on here, are we all building our nests?!

No news from Wizz, I guess that means she had to go into hospital in the end? It's so exciting waiting for the news and I don't even "know" these people! What a wonderful thing MN is.

Housemum - hope this is it for you, know what you mean about feeling like you're coming on and iffy tummy, I had both those with DD.

This coming week I've got a lot in my diary and we booked DD to see Santa at Frasers on Saturday which takes me up to 39wks then so I'm happy if LO arrives anytime after that (preferably before 25th though!)

Bouncingturtle · 02/12/2007 09:57

TMI warning - been having leakyness, not Awen scale, just enough to stain bedding last night so will now have to wear pads at night (been getting away just using pantyliners during the day). Is this usual?
37 weeks today!

RGPargy · 02/12/2007 10:01

Hi everyone.

What a miserable day!!!!!!

Anyway, just checking in to say no news here i'm afraid. The show has stopped as have the tummy niggles i was getting last night. Not sure i like this overdue lark!

PeckaRolloverAgain · 02/12/2007 10:06

Oh RG I have just been reading your show thread and came across here hoping for more news! I was 2 weeks late with both of my bambinos and I HATED it, you really have my sympathies

RGPargy · 02/12/2007 10:09

Thanx Pecka! I was convinced i would be early because DS was born at 37 weeks. DP and I had a bet that LO would come at either 38 or 39 weeks! So much for that! Think i'll just have to try and keep my mind off the fact that i'm waiting for this baby to appear and keep myself semi-busy during the day instead. I have no idea what to do with myself tho because all my mates are working so i'm pretty much on my Jack Jones during the day! Oh well, i'm sure i'll think of something, even if it's my daily trip to bloody Asda!!

Bouncingturtle · 02/12/2007 10:11

I've just scoured for news on Wizzka and Awen, nothing as yet!

PeckaRolloverAgain · 02/12/2007 10:18

I am planning a trip to asda today, had a turkey, stuffing and cranberry baguette in their cafe last week and it was actually REALLY nice!! I am just sitting here thinking mmmmmmmm might go and have one of those instead of cooking Sunday Lunch!

Oh and btw, I did get your cheap tens link, what a bargain! Have ordered one! Will definitely keep that on file to pass on to clients, its the cheapest I have seen.

Bouncing, what kind of leaking do you mean? Wee? or potential waters?

RGPargy · 02/12/2007 10:52

ooooo that baguette sounds lovely Pecka!! Benjys used to do one like that too, but in a panini and it was looooovely warm!! Unfortunately tho our Asda is only a small one, so no cafe and no clothes either! They literally just sell food. Boring!

Glad you got the link. They are cheap aren't they. I'm beginning to wish i'd hired one now for early labour.

Bouncingturtle · 02/12/2007 10:59

Pecka - it's not wee, move like CM i guess!

Bouncingturtle · 02/12/2007 10:59

more not move!

mellymooks · 02/12/2007 11:20

morning everyone - no babies just yet then....
i've woken up with full on blocked sinususes and fear it will turn into full blown cold really don't wanna be ill when could go into labour anytime

weather awful - think we'll stay cosy indoors today.

Bouncingturtle · 02/12/2007 11:34

Lot of colds going about! Get yourself some vapour rub, and make some hot lemon with honey.

PeckaRolloverAgain · 02/12/2007 11:40

RG - They offer an express service if your later than 37 weeks, which, err, you are arent you!! (sorry)

Bouncingturtle, I get the same as you at the moment, sometimes LOADS of CM that I have to check isnt waters going as it feels like a bit of a gushing sensation!! TMI sorry.

RGPargy · 02/12/2007 11:44

Pecka - lol yes, i'm slightly more than 37 weeks (40+5!!). Knowing my luck tho, i'll order it and then LO will turn up before it arrives! I'm sure i'll manage without it.

suey2 · 02/12/2007 12:34

hello all.
Thinking of you wizzska- you must be cuddled up with your LO now. How exciting!
Good luck Awen- good news your contractions have stopped.
I went to a wedding yesterday- had to go home at 8pm as too knackered to even socialise . However, DH now off work until new year, so we are looking forward to going for lunches, cinema in the afternoon etc, even if i am very impatient for LO to arrive! I just know he/she is going to be a thumper- the number of people who have told me how inaccurate the growth scans are.... don't fancy pushing out a 10lber on my first go!

Oh how exciting! Good luck to Awen, I'm glad her dh is back home with her too....

Ohh yes Wizzka, can't wait to find out

I've actually perked up and got into party mode this weekend, went to a friend's 30th on friday and stayed til 12.30am - not bad I thought! Then we had friends round for dinner last night too... I was able to satisfy my red meat craving, mmmmm....

RG, hope your shopping trip goes well, keeping on your feet will help kick start you again I'm sure, my mum dragged me round tesco as my waters were breaking with dd and it def helped (though I didn't agree with her at the time!!)

Hmmm housemum, anymore 'strange' feelings?? You never know....

Hi superloopy, hopefully you'll be on your way soon - though these babies seem to know what they are doing and cannot be told!!

Claireyb, I'm rally annoyed that they have made you feel crap at the scan. My friend had the same problems, they told her her baby was small - she arrived at 8.5 lbs so they got it sooooo wrong, so don't blame yourself and wait and see..

Pecka, just was thinking about the start of your pg just then, I'm just so happy everything worked out well

Lizzer · 02/12/2007 13:45

Loopymummy, yeah its wet and grey here - not a lot of inspiration to get out of bed and dressed for me

Hello everyone, things are really getting busy now! of all of you for whom things are hotting up!!
I'm not due till the 12th, so should really stop analysing every little niggle, but it's hard when you come on here and babies are popping out left right and centre!
Out for dinner last night and was so uncomfortable I had to come home early, that has never happened before so I got all excited, but of course today it's all back to normal.
Sure I'll still be sitting here like a beached whale on Christmas day! Making plans for my 1st week of maternity leave so I'm not in the house all day waiting and waiting!

Any news from Wizzska?

Chucking it down here too, yuck.

I have been awaiting my nesting instinct - doesn't seem to be happening - then came home from work the other day to find DH had washed all the baby clothes and rearranged all of his own clothes drawers hee hee! Maybe he can take on the labour pains too...

Nbg · 02/12/2007 14:43

Hello everyone!

I'd been sneaking on the Nov thread but as it turns out this baby likes Dec

Its nice to see things are going on with others. Not jealous at all.
Honest

mellymooks · 02/12/2007 14:48

Thanks Loopymumsy! Think I will do just that! Still dark and cloudy outside here, so we've got the fire on and are all curled up - lovely.
Caz10 - I'm the same i keep questioning every twinge and feeling thinking could this be the start? Am off. due Fri but was always so convinced I was going to be early - that certainty is started to waver a bit now...
LOL with your other half nesting too - mine has been doing the same all week - really funny to see as totally out of character, usually just comes home and chills but all week has done a different project each night - house is looking well organised!
