Hello and congratulations, lovely lot.

It's been a bumpy road so DP and I aren't telling anyone until late September. But I need to talk to someone!!!

@BooSaidTheGhost the baby is absolutely fine, there’s something wrong with my cervix though. I think cervical errosion? I have to go get that looked at in more detail. So yeah, if anyone else has bleeding at all, don’t panic! Go get checked.

@Staryflight445 I’ve heard it’s totally normal after dtd so try not to worry easier said then done but at least there is a reason for it although it’s scary to bleed during pregnancy.. you will be fine.

@BooSaidTheGhost I know what you mean there’s definitely pros to been through it all before and we are already constantly tired too so newborn phase will be a walk in the park this time round, My little guy will be 2.5 when this baby comes he will for sure still be in nappies so I’m dreading the thought of 2 in nappies but such is life lol ! That’s tough going been a single mama it’s so hard I can’t imagine doing it alone so I’m sure you will be minding this baby in your sleep x

Haha I know, it was only for about 30 seconds but I get to see them tomorrow again too whilst we do the screening tests for downs etc.

Hey ladies I’m officially in the second trimester woo hoo and starting to feel better so looking to do some online pregnancy safe fitness classes . Anyone in any at the moment that can motivate me ?? X

@FinnsMammy I'm 11 weeks so just behind you. Personally I'm keeping to my regular classes (Pilates, Thunder (basically legs, bums and tums), and sweat to the beat (basically a dance class) and continuing my run clubs (5km).
Except for my run club my instructors know I'm pregnant and give appropriate modifications- they've said that if I feel comfortable they'll take me through my pregnancy. If you are already active then just continue with pre-pregnancy activities.
If you weren't active pre pregnancy then there are some great pelvic floor exercises and prenatal yoga/Pilates classes on YouTube/Instagram

@wannabeamummysobad I was going to the gym 3 days a week until a month ago my membership was up And I decided not to renew it so looking to start a new one but was hoping for online as there not much in my area. Are your classes online ? I ran up to 30 weeks with my first pregnancy but I haven’t ran I almost a year now so defo won’t be taking that up lol x

@Staryflight445 it’s different on some websites. My pregnancy app says week 13 is the second trimester so I’m going with that ! X

@Staryflight445 I’m due april 14 so 13 plus 1 today and I have my scan later today #freaking !! I had an early scan at 7w 6 days and I measured exactly to the day so i think it’s spot on. HSE Irish website says 13 weeks too. 13 or 14 depending on different sites it’s all the one really.

@FinnsMammy I'm a member of GYMBOX. Since covid they've given an online option called "out of the box" where there are recorded and live classes every day of the week as well as an extensive back catalogue.
but not sure if you have a member to access it.

Just came back from my 12 week scan and I’m measuring 13w2d! Due date 13/4/22, here’s a picture ☺️
Little bubba was moving around, it felt so surreal. Got bloods down and measurements for the testing, so praying for the all clear.

@Staryflight445 how far along did you think you were? How different are the dates?

According to my 2 private scans I'm 11W1D baby CRL matches this and 50th percentile. Based on this my NHS scan will be at 12W5. Can't wait! In the meantime I have my birthday celebrations to keep me occupied 💕

How far along did you think you were? Had you had private scans before?

@wannabeamummysobad last Thursday I had a scan but baby wouldn’t move out their comfort spot so hard to measure. She had me as 11+1. Yesterday it came out as 12+6 exactly a week later.

More accurate measure! My private scan at 7 weeks was well off

@Staryflight445 oh wow, that's such a big difference! Given my periods are so regular I'm not expecting much if any difference between the dates but it's good to know so I don't panic.

Aah, wish mine was sooner but sure it will fly by. So lovely seeing everyone's healthy scan pics

Ahh. We weren’t trying and mine are really irregular, and long.
It was difficult to calculate really.

We were trying (conceived our 1st cycle just after our honeymoon) so it's so cool that I know my LMP and ovulation date.

Do wonder how long it would have taken had we not tried.

Who on the thread was trying vs not trying. How long did it take?

@Staryflight445 I just had my scan everything looks perfect 😍 she did say I’m 13 plus 5 not 13 plus1 strange as I used ovulation tests but I’ll go with it ! I’m delighted everything is good I can finally relax 😍
