Put the pic up - very impressed with self's technological genius! (cue pats on back, please)

DD's first outing as bridesmaid!

Soph73 · 29/11/2007 15:05

What do you mean you´re not drooling over my DH DS has the Scooby Doo film & Shaggy just makes me want to mother him!!!! I can see Shaggy & Jay Kay being a good combo though

Annieroo · 29/11/2007 15:06

I haven't seen a midwife since 12 week scan, despite notes saying i need to have a urine test done every 4 weeks - am now 20 weeks.

Soph73 · 29/11/2007 15:07

scampmum - what a great photo

Soph73 · 29/11/2007 15:08

annieroo - if you don´t mind me asking, why do you need a urine test every 4 wks?

Sheds75 · 29/11/2007 15:12

scamp, I'm about to move next week and Iam paranoid about them loosing my notes etc... I have to get an apointment to see a specialist and getting that transferred to a different hospital is going to be hell

Soph73 · 29/11/2007 15:15

I shouldn´t really be seeing the midwife that I am because we´ve moved but because I want to stay with the same Health Centre I haven´t told them - naughty! Also there isn´t a midwife at the Health Centre in the village where we´ve moved too.

scampmum · 29/11/2007 15:16

Sagitta - do you have a long-haired wonder too? DH just hasn't got round to having his cut since March 05 although also had long hair when we got together and I think he looks really sexy with a ponytail.

Thanks Soph! good luck with the scan.

Soph73 · 29/11/2007 15:17

Question - how can I get you guys to see photos if I can´t upload them to mumsnet? Answers on a postcard to ...

Sheds75 · 29/11/2007 15:19

soph, what is stopping you from uploading them to MN???

scampmum · 29/11/2007 15:19

I have fingers and toes crossed that the stupid surgery I tried to register with (and made an appointment for my healthcheck with, left work to go (home is 1hr away), turned up and they had no record of my appointment ) haven't since FOUND my form and stolen my notes from my old surgery hence making them impossible for my new new surgery to find. I would check with the old new surgery but they were soooooooo disorganised I think it would take at least an hour to explain what I was talking about. Both my parents are (/were, Dad just retired, bless him!) GPs so I can't slag them off in general, but I was most unimpressed with that.

Sheds75 · 29/11/2007 15:21

Scamp Arhh.... that is the sort of thing that is beginning to worry me

sagitta · 29/11/2007 15:30

Umm, Soph, I knew that sentence about drooling / not drooling over your dh was going to get me in trouble.

My dh doesn't have long hair, but doesn't get it cut often. And he's got the beginnings of a little bald patch...

Good luck with moving, Sheds. I'm sure everything will get sorted out in time...

scampmum · 29/11/2007 15:33

Don't worry - I really think these guys (Norwood Surgery, I should name and shame them!) would be up there on the league table of worst GPs ever.

If you are by some extraordinary coincidence moving to West Norwood I would suggest you go with Knights Hill instead!

EllieG · 29/11/2007 15:35

My DP looks like a little squirrel I think. Partly because he has red hair, and partly just because.

Sheds75 · 29/11/2007 15:40

Thanks! Nope I'm moving to Frodsham in Cheshire, but good move on the name and shame

scampmum · 29/11/2007 15:43

EllieG, I want to see pics! I suspect we'll find he looks as much like a squirrel as mine does Benecio del Toro...

scampmum · 29/11/2007 15:45

Even thinking about that pic I put on my profile makes me want to squeeze my family and never let them go.

sagitta · 29/11/2007 15:50

V nice pic, scamp mum. Go on Ellie, let's see if he really looks like a squirrel.

Hope the move goes well sheds. And I hope your house is already decorated. We've been painting / DIYing every bloody weekend since August.

Going to do another coat now, completely given up trying to work today. Too much MNing...

Soph73 · 29/11/2007 15:55

Sheds - I have made the photos smaller & everything´s going well, I press upload photo & it ticks along for a while and then always comes up with "cannot find server". Weird!

Sheds75 · 29/11/2007 15:57

soph, it did that with my scan pic but when you look it is there. Your profile now has a pic of your DS up

scampmum · 29/11/2007 16:00

just read 'DS' as 'DP/DH' and thought 'wow, he looks young'. WHAT AN IDIOT!

scampmum · 29/11/2007 16:03

Sagitta - the only painting I did in our last flat was the downstairs loo at 9months pregnant: no room to manoevre so even though I am naturally an extremely talented decorator I did such a shite job that I am never allowed to do any painting again... and now we have moved DH can't take people in there to illustrate his point (and embarrass me). We are currently renting and not allowed to paint so he can't even moan about how he has to do it because I'm too rubbish. Result all round.

Soph73 · 29/11/2007 16:05

Sheds - that one I put up ages ago. Since then I just can´t upload photos it´s a real bummer. I try periodically & still get the same response!

sagitta · 29/11/2007 16:11

Scampmum - brilliant maouevre. Unfortunately, although I am rubbish, there's too much that needs doing. And DH used to do it professionally, so he's always trying to teach me. It looks better than it did when he left, now, though so that's something.
