Earlier this afternoon i had (TMI Warning) a bit of clear mucus when i wiped after a wee and now i've got a tummy ache in my lower abdomen area. Does this mean anything or am i reading too much into the fact that my tummy is being stretched and pulled by the big lump that's in there?!

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD lol i think ( well i can pretty much say they have) - that my waters have broken about an hour ago, am really nervous now! phoned the hosp and they said put a pad on and ring back in an hour, but its coming out a lot more now so dont know if i can last an hour with this pad (sorry if tmi!)!!

rgpargy- (sorry again for tmi!)i had clear mucus stuff too about 6pm then did bit of the mythical induction technique (LOL if you get what i mean) and then an hour so after that is when started leaking, at first thought might just be coz of that but now its almost constant. have got no pains yet tho at all. so you may well be ahead of me!!

argh i hope someone is on i need someone to calm me down! x

sparklygothkat · 28/11/2007 21:42

and breathe Sam.. good luck I'll be back on later if you are about.. if not start another thread in chat and people will chat to you.

sam86 · 28/11/2007 21:43

thanx sparkly! am trying but am so nervous! hopefully it will all be ok and she will just appear in the moses basket like loopy said!

RGPargy · 28/11/2007 21:50

Hi Sam!! I was only thinking about you today, wondering if anything had happened coz you've not been on!

Great news re your waters breaking!! How exciting!!! I'm very of you! Not sure if anything is happening here or not. With DS my waters broke so i KNEW i was on my way but all this waiting for something to happen is frustrating!!

Make sure you keep us updated!!! I look forward to waking up in the morning with your exciting news Sam!!

Right, am off to bed for an early night (no mythical induction thankfully!) now, just in case things kick off and i need the rest lol.

N'night all! xxx

RGPargy, am I right in thinking you poste a link to a cheap tens hire site?

littleoldme · 28/11/2007 21:54

Wasn't going to post as am soooo sleepy but didn't want you Sam to go unanswered.

Sounds like things are moving. The hospital will probaly suggest that if you don't don't go into labour tonight that you go down tomorrow at some point.

I know it's easy for me to say but do try and get some rest. And do go sleep on an old towel or something to protect your mattress.

It's going to feel scary but you and your baby WILL be fine. Just remember that everyone you see and speak to in the hosp is there to help you both. We are all here too and sending you lots of positive vibes.

Good luck and lots of love XXX

littleoldme · 28/11/2007 21:57

Just read the rest of the thread. Good luck to everyone else who's having signs. Sounds like it's going to be productive night

Loopy - Looks like it's just going to be me and you soon. Fancy some ice cream ?

JARM · 28/11/2007 22:46

Hi all

Just to say good luck Sam and JARM! And the rest of you waiting - good luck to you too!

Ooooooh - baby news to come!

littleoldme · 29/11/2007 09:33

Sening you buckets of lovely stuff Sam and Jarm.

How's things with you rg ?

RGPargy · 29/11/2007 09:49

Things are quiet on the RG front, LOM. When i stand up tho, my belly is very painful on the lower bit while i walk around etc, but i think that's because LO is now quite heavy!!!

OP posts:
littleoldme · 29/11/2007 10:01

Rg - We need bump trolleys.

RGPargy · 29/11/2007 10:22

I've always thought that, LOM!

HIya everyone! thank u all for calming me down!! i rang the hosp back and they said to come in to be assessed so went in about 10:30 last night- after waiting 4 long hours sitting in soaking trousers (and there was only one other patient there who only needed blood pressure checking- god knows how long il be waiting each day now!) they finally checked baby etc and all was fine, so sent me home as i still dont have any contractions at all! am booked in for induction sunday morning now,and gotta go in each day to be monitored, but am really hoping that things start themselves off. only got about 3 hours sleep so am knackered, but mind was working over time plus no matter what i did was absolutley soaking! (how on earth is there that much water in there?!)

oooooo i hope jarm is on her way now!! am so excited!!

keepin my fingers crossed for you too RG! (at this rate all of you will be before me tho!) x

littleoldme · 29/11/2007 11:02

Really glad all is well Sam. I hope everything kicks off naturally over the weekend. Walking upstairs sideways is supposed to help.
I'm posting that stuff today - I'm not driving at the mo or I'd have been able to get to the PO by now. Keep us posted.

Rg - I think we should design and patent one. We could go on Dragon's Den with it.

RGPargy · 29/11/2007 11:03

Sam - sorry things have progressed for you yet! I suppose you'll just have to stick a pad on for now and keep stocked up with them! Does the leakage ease a bit if you sit forward? I doubt that it's much longer now before things start to happen for you. Glad you are feeling calmer now, although it's a bit of a bummer you had to wait FOUR hours!!! That's shocking!!!

Still nothing happening here. I really do think she'll be here early December now.

RGPargy · 29/11/2007 11:04

oooo yes, good idea LOM. Who do you think it would interest most?

I am pleased to tell you that Isabella Jasmine was born 4:40pm on November 25th.

I had a bloody show at 1am, contractions started 4 mins apart at 4am, went into hospital at 2pm and by the time they examined me I was 6cm dialated and really struggling to cope.

I had some gas and air and then pethidine which really helped me focus. At 4pm the Dr said that baby was distressed and I either had to push hard and get her out or have an emergency section.

I pushed for England and she came out but due to being back to back I have a third degree tear. However, I felt that the birth was a positive experience and all of the staff at the hosptial were great.

She is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen and I adore her completely. We're amazed by what a quiet, chilled out darling baby she is and astonished at how much sleep we're getting (but know that is bound to change). I am loving it more than I would have ever dreamed.

So happy- la la la.
