Yeah i know this Loopy, and that's the disappointing thing! Guess we'll just have to wait and see!

I have a million and one things to do too and i keep getting up and pottering around, (just to show willing, you understand!) but secretly i want to lounge on the sofa and watch Series 1 of Heroes again!

Obviously everyones different RG but I gave birth 24 hours after my shows with both kids.

I think this is how I know nothings going to happen yet because I still havent had a show.

Whats everyone up to?

RGPargy · 01/12/2007 15:35

Loopy - at least you have got the birth plan out of the way!

Nbg - not sure if anything will come of my show. Still haven't had any contractions or anything yet so i'm assuming it's not gonna happen just yet. We'll soon see tho!

Not up to much. Just chilling and watching Heroes Season 1 again.

Evening ladies. Looks like we are down to the real hard core now We must really like being pg. Hope Sam's doing OK

Loopy - Well done on your birth plan. I've got a few notes on an index card and that's about it.

Well, I've spent the afternoon curled up with my book and snoozing. We're off to town soon tothe check out the Christmas Market. I might even have a little tipple of mulled wine

LOL The wife of one of Dh's work mates went to 42 weeks. The hosp told her all kinds of horror stories about what might happen if they let her go any longer and pressured her into induction the next day. When she turned up at the they sent her home again as they were too busy. She said, " but you told me I'd be dead by 4'oclock if doesn't come out!"

RGPargy · 01/12/2007 17:23

LOM - Christmas Market sounds nice, what is it exactly? Oooo you devil, having mulled wine!!

PMSL @ your DH's work mates!! It's so shocking at what they try and scare you with that it's actually laughable isn't it!

I dont know whether to write a birth plan or not really. All I know is that it'll hurt, i'll get into the pool, i'll have gas and air until it runs out or i feel sick! Should i know about anything else?

Here are some nice guidelines which you maybe aware of but might find handy.

RG - The risks double between 42 and 43 weeks but they treble between 37 and 42 weeks. So given the argument of increased risk , they should really induce at 37 weeks. Shove that in yer pipe and smoke it Mr Consultant man.

littleoldme · 01/12/2007 17:38

The Christmas Market is supposedly a German thing. There are lots of festive stalls selling cratfty type presents, a huge beer tent, a little fair and lots of bratwurst. It's always a nice atmosphere and it feels like a day to be festive.

RGPargy · 01/12/2007 17:45

Sounds lovely, LOM! Thanx for the NICE info too.
