Oh yes, forgot to say. My friend has used a nappy laundry service for both hers and swears by it. She reckons washable nappies are great and for the same price as a weeks worth of disposables (she reckons) she has somebody pick up all the dirty ones and replace them with clean ones each week. Just saves her having heaps of nappies hanging around the house - particularly in winter.

I was going to do the same but started out with disposables for ease and never changed over . I try to make myself feel better by buying the Nature boy & girl nappies which are more environmentally friendly.

I've done it

just ordered the E3 from kiddicare.com, as well as a lightweight McLaren Daytripper for when we need to use pub transport with just one.

Hope I made the right choice now but AT LEAST IT'S DONE. YAY!

Bronnie - I used disposables with DD1 but am (almost) determined to go the re-usables route this time around - although we'll need a new washing mc to cope as ours keeps getting stuck mid-cycle. Ho Hum.

Better get and do some work. working from home today as I felt really faint in work yesterday and came home and slept for 3.5 hours in the afternoon. Very strange...

Take it easy everyone

Gosh all this talk about buying things makes me feel as though there is something major I haven't thought of. I am not planning on buying anything at all (apart from newborn nappies and toiletries of course!) before ds is born - we still have all of dd's old stuff (moses basket, white and unisex sleepsuits, car seat, bouncy chair etc) so it will all be getting another airing. We are going to stick with our one and only pushchair as I reckon dd will be OK with a buggy board. If not I can always buy a double later on - may as well test the water first before paying out loads of unnecessary cash!

Hiya ladies, sorry to crash in like this but I am looking for an antenatal yoga class in Bournemouth/Christchurch and this thread came up in the search. Does one of you have some info on them please?
My name is Charlotte by the way and I'm due in June.
