Can't believe it. Just got my BFP today and by my reckoning baby should be due 1st July.
Is there anyone else out there?

Congradulations Wannabe and Penguin

twoplusone · 03/11/2007 21:28

Congratulations to all of you on this thread.. I cant believe a due July 08 has started already.. My DS2 (child number3) was born on the 18th July 07 and is just a dream..

Good luck all of you.. I am feeling broody already!!!

sweetkitty · 04/11/2007 10:26

thanks twoplusone - hope my third is a dream as well

Is anyone else getting symptoms yet? After my "I never get symptoms early on speeches" I am feeling like I have been hit by a bus. Constantly knackered (but that could be two poorly DCs), feeling sick, peeing more and am highly irritable (poor DP he just does EVERYTHING wrong)

paulaplumpbottom · 04/11/2007 10:37

I've started feeling queasy. Its quite bad in the evenings. I'm exausted all day. My sinus is all blocked up as well.

isaidno · 04/11/2007 10:53

I am super irritable (poor DC and Dh!)

Did another test this morning (just because there was one there) and the positive result was so quick the control line hadn't appeared yet!!

Going to call my Gp tomorrow - that will make things seem more real because someone official is going to be involved.

BTW Beanbearer, with DS2 I was unsure of dates - when I went to the GP I thought I was either 6 or 11 weeks. She gave me an internal exam and said my insides felt about 7 wks, then she referred me for an early scan which confirmed her estimate.

paulaplumpbottom · 04/11/2007 13:11

I don't think that it ever seems "official" till I see it on a scan

isaidno · 04/11/2007 13:57

True PPP, but seeing the GP is the first step to that!

Minkus · 04/11/2007 14:07

With my ds I didn't really get that tired, goodness am I making up for it now -

Am napping with my ds at lunchtimes

libralady · 04/11/2007 17:29

Hi all,
I don't really have any symptoms as yet. No MS, or even queasiness (that's the kiss of death! ). I di however have extreme tiredness but don't know if that is down to the pregnancy or just because I'm not sleeping too well. I think my body clock is still messed with the clocks changing last weekend. I keep waking about 5am desperate to pee (sorry if tmi ) and am then unable to get back to sleep.
Last Wednesday night I was sooo tired I fell asleep on the sofa at 7pm and woke up at 2.10am and then struggled to get back to sleep. Dozed for a bit and was then wide awake at 5.48. Not even sure I am peeing for often. The only tell take sign I had that I could be pregnant was tender boobs starting on CD 19. Tested on CD25 & got a very faint + and a BFP on CD 27. Since then I seem to be in limbo.
On a good point I got my scan date through yesterday. Wednesday 19th December, which based on my dates will make me 12 weeks exactly

is it too early to book gp appointment. I'm about 41/2 weeks (5 on wed if my calculations are correct). Should i be worried about mild stomach cramps? Been tired for last week and had some nausea but ok at moment.

paulaplumpbottom · 04/11/2007 19:28

I get a tiny bit of pain around my belly putton. Is that the ramps you mean?

meglet · 04/11/2007 19:41

hello everyone! I hope you are all ok.
I haven't been here in 2 days so I need to catch up! Finally figured out my EDD is 10th July, although it will be a planned c-section so the big day will probably be a little sooner than that.

I am already very very tired - which I hate as I'm normally a very active person. Tummy feels a bit achy in places too. Will book an apt with the midwife at 8 weeks.

DS was a nightmare today, didn't even want a lunchtime nap so I was not impressed. So I'm about to collapse in bed with GU Choc brownies

baby3 · 04/11/2007 20:28

a big hi to all the newbies!! I am feeling very sorry for myself as I am feeling very sick and absoloutely exhausted. I hadn't planned to tell people but my friends have all asked me as soon as they've seen me as my tummy is huge already, (not too many pies as actually i'm not eating much as feel too sick!) which is also making me quite depressed. I know i'm not further gone as i know my dates, which mean i'm almost 6 weeks.... now worrying in case there's 2 in there!!!!!!!!!! Sorry to moan - am really excited too

pigleychez · 04/11/2007 20:43

Baby3.. I know exactly what you mean about having a tummy already.
Im currently 5 weeks and already have a bit of a bump forming and i too havent been eating anything extra than normal.

We have been worrying about twins now too- especially as my mum is a twin so we have an increased risk anyway.

paulaplumpbottom · 04/11/2007 20:45

Can your elder child help with the littiler one a bit to give you a break

baby3 · 05/11/2007 07:49

pigleychez..... i'm so pleased it's not only me. there are no twins in my family that i'm aware of so we'll have to see! You'll have to keep me posted on that one.

PPB, to be honest, i'm luckier than many of you as mine are old enough to sort themselves out a lot of the time and they are at school all day. I work full time but can call in sick if need be which is easier then having a young one to look after. Have cold and sore throat today so i'm going to work from home and take it easy.

I'm worrying about telling my mum too (you think i'd have grown out of that at my age!), as she thinks 2 is enough and will give me a hard time, something i just don't need really!!

sweetkitty · 05/11/2007 09:21

Morning everyone I am feeling terrible today think I have caught the DDs Stomach bug, feel sick and have the runs (TMI I know) and stomach cramps so feeling very sorry for myself, have zero energy as well. Just dropped DD1 off at nursery and am having a rest beofre plucking up the energy to do some housework.

Twins - that isn't even funny

Baby3 - I know what you mean about telling people, when I was last pregnant in July when I told family I got comments like "well thats a mistake (what a horrible term mistake), are you happy about it, oops that wasn't planned was it, so you will be hoping for a boy then"? It really irritated me, the worst one was when I todl my Mum I was probably having a mc she said "well maybe it's for the best 3 would be expensive" made me very why are you only allowed the regulation 2 DC and anymore is obviously a contraception failure as no one plans to have 3. Sorry am off on one again

paulaplumpbottom · 05/11/2007 09:38

If you are happy with your pregnancy then tell everyone to either get on board or go away. You don't need to hear omments like that

LadyHeatherMillsMcCartney · 05/11/2007 10:14

aww good luck everyone - i was just thinking that i got a bfp a year ago today and beautiful dd was born 20 July

sweetkitty · 05/11/2007 10:44

heather - thanks my DD1 also has a July 20 birthday although she was early so I didn't get a BFP until end of November.

paula - thanks I had the same things with DD2 as she was conceived when DD1 was 9 months, got told she must have been a mistake, erm no we were just v lucky to fall first month. Have said that before to my Mum "DP and I are delighted and if you aren't then I don't want to hear it"

Stange how people who have nothing to do with your family choices feel the need to comment, I couldn't care less how many children people have it's not me that's feeding/caring/getting up in the night for them.

mcchesers · 05/11/2007 11:08

Morning ladies! Just back from the GP and she was so pleased for us. She's already sent the referral and just said let's just play this one by ear. Any heavy cramping or bleeding and call the EPU and get scanned. I feel really optimistic today

SK - I cannot imagine your mum would say that to you. You are so lovely that's just awful.

When I found out that my SIL was preg with no4 I was pleased as punch. My brother called and said, yeah I know we have no business having anymore..and I told him no one had a right to say that to him. Their son is beautiful and wouldn't trade him for the world. Of course now he's got the snip so that's the end of that.

I'm good with however many passengers there are in here

Thepuddingchef · 05/11/2007 11:26

morning ......

hope everyone is ok.....made my appointment with GP today.....16th Nov...ages away!

Told family yesterday...all very happy...new baby will be due day before mums bday......

I think how many childrens you have should be no-ones business except your own......I come from a big family and it has always been great

Off now to go to the dentist to be robbed blind... i'm sure he's bumped up the prices as he's retiring soon..prob for the world cruise or something...git

sweetkitty · 05/11/2007 12:24

pudding chef - you should get all your dental treatment for free now you are pregnant as well as free presciptions

mcchesers - good news about the GP, I'm not going to the GP until after I have my scan at about 8 weeks which is only 3 1/2 weeks away when you think about it.

isaidno · 05/11/2007 12:37

Grr! Phoned GP and they say I have to wait until i am 8 weeks to fet my first appt!

How can I wait another fortnight!!!!!????

And the secrecy is killing me - I've got to tell someone!

paulaplumpbottom · 05/11/2007 12:41

Pik one very lose friend and tell them. Pregnany is too bifg a secret to keep from everyone
