Is there anyone else out there?

Hi LL, most definately over I'm afraid. I had bleeding with my 2nd ds but nothing like this, it's like full on AF

I'm so upset. Can't believe it. After everything that's ever happened to me/us I can't believe there is now this to add. What did I do in a previous life that was so bad?!??

xxx

libralady · 26/11/2007 16:19

I am so sorry. I've never been through anything like this so I can't empathise, only sympathise. I hope you keep well and feel up to ttc in the near future.
Take care
LLxx

sweetkitty · 26/11/2007 16:39

Both my DDs have come out in red spots so it looks like chicken pox, they are both fine I kind of expected it as a friends little boy had them a fortnight ago and they saw him the day before the spots came out and DD1 had a fever on Saturday and DD2 was grumpy. Only thing is I will be stuck indoors for the rest of the week with them which will drive me insane.

feb - I had SPD from 15 weeks both times, I know what you mean about being told backache is common in pregnancy I have left getting pregant again later this time as I had a short gap between the DDs which makes it worse apparently. It was worse with DD2 sorry but I was pregnant nearly a month longer with her than DD1. Was horrid at the end as I was very big and had loads of aches/pains and BHs as well. I had physio and a support belt which didn't really help. I found a birthing ball good for sitting on as well as a really deep bath every night.

icklegem - so sorry to hear your news can't believe your doctor either. One good point is that if you are bleeding chances are it's a complete mc and you won't need a D&C but she should have sent you to the Early Pregnancy Unit for a scan at least and you will need a scan to make sure it has all gone. I would phone them in the morning. There's a lovely mc support thread under miscarriage topic please come over when you feel strong enough. You will get through this xxx

gemegae - hello and welcome I am with you on the tiredness it's horrid, I have two girls 3 and nearly 2 and you don't get time to sit down nevermind rest.

coolkat · 26/11/2007 16:40

Sorry Icklegem, thinking of you. X

paulaplumpbottom · 26/11/2007 16:57

I'm so sorry Icklegem. I have been where you are and I know how awful it is. You need to know that none of this is in no way your fault. It just happens. I know that sucks but it just does. I'm sorry

Minkus · 26/11/2007 21:38

So sorry Icklegem

pigleychez · 26/11/2007 21:43

sandcastles · 26/11/2007 21:52

So sorry to hear that, Icklegem

twinkle1 · 26/11/2007 21:55

Sorry about the news Icklegem

Verso · 26/11/2007 22:13

Sorry for your sad news, Icklegem

What was it about last night? My DD was up too (her excuse is that she was feeling poorly, which is fair enough). I am sooooo tired. I came home early from work today and went straight to bed. Am sure they will start asking questions soon . Just wish I could take a day off but am way too busy.

Nausea too. Bleaurgh.

I'm another SPD veteran, btw. I had it from about halfway with DD - physio and support belt here too. I have had a couple of twinges so far so I daresay I'll get it again. I wouldn't mind if all the lovely relaxed ligaments had actually made DD's birth easy! (They didn't. Hmph)

Off to bed. Night night everyone and let's hope any LO's sleep through tonight!

libralady · 26/11/2007 22:45

Well how sad am I? DH is away for the week, so I have spent the evening writing out my Christmas cards. The TV is crap so thought what the 'eck!
DS is a little better although he was a little b**r going to bed tonight. Probably becase he had an hour this afternoon. Must remember tomorrow, even if he is dead on his feet, to keep him awake during the afternoon and put him to bed early. Ho hum

Morning all!

Well my DD was up for over an hour at 4am the night before last and a few nights before then and we bit the bullet last night and racked the heating up (something I hate and DH loves). Despite me worrying like mad all night that DH had got DD in a hot box piled with blankets and grobag too and she slept all night and woke up at a good temperature. I on the otherhand am a shivering wreck with a headache from too much heat in the night!

How are you all today?

PutThatInYourPipeandSmokeIt · 27/11/2007 08:30

I bought my christmas cards yesterday too - very curious as I thought I'd decided that I wouldn't bother this year! DH is out tomorrow night, so maybe I'll write them all then. Or maybe I will go to bed early again

libralady · 27/11/2007 08:34

I made my DH go up in the attic to get them down before he left for the week. I usually buy my cards in the New Year sales for the next Christmas. Also if I have plenty I just sign our names and seal them in envelopes ready to address for the next year. Just realised, I can't do that this year!

Morning all we have had mroe spots appear overnight my poor poor babies they seem fine in themselves though, just have to keep slopping on the calamine cream, DD2 is especailly covered in spots and you cannot stop a 22 month old scratching much. She was up about 4 times last night as well I also have a sore throat so am feeling pretty sorry for myself. Also I cannot get out to get the antihistamine syrup for them or any lozenges for myself. DP is at work then is at a works dinner thing so won't be back until 10pm. I can't drag the DDs out full of spots

libralady - I have bought my cards too haven't written them yet but I have bought a DIY set for DD1 with stickers and glitter she will love that. I did start wrapping presents last night as well. Hope the DDs are well by Friday as I need to get Christmas tree light and some other bits before Saturday. Had all my week planned out now it's gone to pot.

Verso - sorry to hear you are an SPD veteran as well, it's no joke isn't it still mibe seems to leave me the minute the baby is out so I am lucky and this is definitely my last pregnancy so will keep that in my head.

sfxmum · 27/11/2007 09:15

good morning all

SK & Libralady I hope your LO's feel better soon

likewise for those with disturbed nights not easy, particularly at this stage.

If my dd wakes up she just gets into bed with us, pillow in hand and just falls asleep again quickly after checking it is not morning yet.

I guess it will be 4 in a bed at some point

I escaped back pain last time which I entirely put to comfy chair at work and Pilates. this time am SAHM must find time to exercise

hope everyone ok

EEC · 27/11/2007 10:36

I too decided to write xmas cards last night - foolishly tried to do it in bed, so only managed 5 before I decided to put the light out! Still, it's a start I suppose.
