Can't believe it. Just got my BFP today and by my reckoning baby should be due 1st July.
Is there anyone else out there?

Hiya, hope you are all doing okay and welcome to Icklegem, mcchesers and frogmarsh!

EDD is apparently going to be July 24th! Have been feeling fine but b.p. has dropped a bit so am monitoring a bit more and making sure to keep hydrated since I am still training (though not full on!). It is usually around 85/55 and atm is around 70/40 so a bit on the low side although haven't really felt bad with it. Sleeping well and eating well ect... but that's normal

Kids and DH are pretty excited and we are still trying to think of good names. It's lovely to have the DC's involved in names and the like as they love to feel a part of it.
Take care all xxx

icklegem · 24/11/2007 09:23

Thanks shrooms. Wow a scan on xmas eve. At least you won't have to wait too long.

I always get really low BP when I'm preg and always makes me feel so faint and dizzy. I have lost count of the times I passed out with the last one so just hoping this one isn't quite as bad?!

My baby was due 24th July this year but she was 8days late so hope your bub manages to be on time for you!

Did you tell your other dc's straight away? I don't know when to tell mine. Maybe after 12wk scan which should be mid Jan.

Gem x

Morning

Is this the place to be got my BFP. My last period started roughly around October 10th so looking at July baby? Although it semed a long cycle until got my BFP so does his affect anything?

I have one DD who is 5 and me and DH are nervous as we left it quite a while before starting again

Anyway nice to meet you and I hope to make some nice friends to see us through the months ahead. May all of them be good. X

sfxmum · 24/11/2007 09:47

good morning all and welcome to newbies
coolkat I think we have similar dates.

feeling fine here and worrying about it of course, last time I wasn't sick just some nausea but also had more time to feel all the symptoms this time I have a toddler to keep me busy.

I will book an early scan after dithering yesterday, really must know what is going on before too long.
think will book the nuchal privately as well for early january despite being offered one in the NHS, afaik they don't offer bloods at the same time and I want as much info as possible.

regarding telling siblings dd is only 2.6 and we have been talking for some time that she might have a baby sister/brother sometime, mostly because friends have recently has babies.
I think I will wait until after 20wks to ne more specific

huge me me posthope you all have a nice restful weekend

icklegem · 24/11/2007 10:25

Coolkat - congratulations!! Not sure about cycle length sorry but I'm sure you will be fine having the 5yr age gap and it will come flooding back to you how to do everything! It's nice having an older child as they can get more involved and help out a bit lol!

sfxmum - I could be wrong but if you have the Nuchal on NHS will they not offer you the bloods too but they are done at 16wks??? Sorry not too sure but maybe you could ask them?

As for the restful weekend I keep asking the kiddies to goto sleep but so far no luck, boys are arguing and baby crying as she is overtired lol!!

Hope your weeked is a bit quiter xx

sweetkitty · 24/11/2007 10:26

coolkat - congratulations and welcome

icklegem - unfortunately a friend told me DDs last time then I lost it which was sad having to explian to 3yo DD1 that Mummy didn't have a baby in her tummy anymore. I think I will wait until about 20 weeks this time, the thing is they are so young that July seems like an eternity to them, will be getting asked every day when the baby is coming. DD1 has decided she wants another sister like DD2 (eek) but doesn't want a brother as they have winkies

min 912 - hello and congratulations to you too, I have had one baby who was 15 days early and one 12 days late (number 2) sorry you don't want to hear that do you?

Feeling very ropey here today as stayed up to watch a film, then the DDs were u[p about 5 times between them, DD1 is ill today as well, has a fever and won't move off sofa bless her.

icklegem · 24/11/2007 10:48

sweetkitty - sorry to hear that, must have been had to explain

lol at your dd1 though! My ds1 was adament he wanted another brother so after our 20wk scan we told him he was getting a sister he wasn't impressed! After she was here I asked him if he liked her and he said "yeah, she's ok but I still want a brother!" Maybe he'll get his wish this time round. If he doesn't tough luck, this is definately the last!

Hope ur dd is better soon xx

sfxmum · 24/11/2007 10:51

icklegem - thanks I just got all my info in the post, incl my booking in appointment for the 31st. funnily enough they offer the integrated test but only privately otherwise you can do the triple test which is less reliable

must stop stressing about this and check first I actually have a viable pregnancy, not the most relaxed mum to be

sfxmum · 24/11/2007 10:55

SK hate it when LO are unwell just feel so helpless

sorry you are feeling rough, dd talks in her sleep and last night sang as well, I am a very light sleeper

MrsWednesday · 24/11/2007 11:12

Got a bfp on Tuesday, after realising my period had gone missing - I'm guessing I'm due around the 17th July but after several m/cs I'm too nervous to get my hopes up much

If this one sticks it will be number 3...eeeeeek!

Hope everyone doesn't mind another newbie arriving.

sfxmum · 24/11/2007 11:17

mrsWednesday fellow junie[wave]yes sharing in the nervous department too.
btw have only told one person from the old thread, privately on FB

congratulations and welcome

icklegem · 24/11/2007 11:31

sfxmum - that's a bit unfair not offering it but I suppose they like to save all their pennies, ggrrrr.

I think everyone worries when they are preg esp more so if you have had anything go wrong in the past but we wouldn't be mummies if we didn't.

I'm always nervous until my 20wk scan is out the way and all fine and normal. Until then I'm a nervous wreck.

Mrswednesday - huge congrats and sending lots of sticky bubba glue your way. Here's to a happy healty pregnancy for all of us xxx

MrsWednesday · 24/11/2007 13:42

Sfxmum, I haven't told anyone apart from DH yet, you are the first to know! Was very pleased to see your name on here when I started lurking earlier in the week.

Agreed icklegem, here's to a happy and healthy pregnancy to us all

sweetkitty · 24/11/2007 13:50

hello MrsWednesday pleased to meet you and congratulations, what do you have already? This one will hopefully be no3 for me as well I had a mc in August so know how nervous these first few weeks are.

MrsWednesday · 24/11/2007 14:29

Hiya sweetkitty! I've got two boys: DS1 is 5 and DS2 is 2.5. What do you have?

pigleychez · 24/11/2007 17:13

Hi everyone

Welcome and Congratualtions to the newbie.

Our list is becoming rather long now... must have been the nights drawing in

Had a long week at work last week with plently of overtime and was begining to feel it towards the week.
Last night I flaked out on the sofa just before 9pm, DH woke me at about 11.30 when I crawled up the stairs into bed then didnt wake again till 9 this morning! so about 12 hours.

Received my letter today for my midwifes appointment. 18th Dec, when I will be 11 weeks.
Also have my form to hand into the scan department.. hope I dont have to wait for weeks for that appointment! I cant wait for my first scan!

paulaplumpbottom · 24/11/2007 18:05

Feeling really tired today. I feel like I have slept the day away. My poor dd msut feel ignored. My DH has been the only one who has paid her attention

mcchesers · 24/11/2007 19:38

pigley - That's my booking in date, and I'll be 11 weeks as well. Seems forever away.

I've been under the covers all day. Rain and cold weather making me sleeeepy. zzzzzzz

Breizhette · 24/11/2007 20:35

Hello everyone,

Feeling tired too, fell asleep on the sofa at 9.30 last night. But no late mornings for me, my 10 month-old DD wakes bewteen 6 and 7 every day!

coolkat · 24/11/2007 20:46

sorry ladies this may have been mentioned many times but I am newbe and last pregnancy sooo long ago, is it normal to get periods of tummy ache? I keep getting it in the evening, not sure whether had to much diner, cause of constipation (tmi) or cause something bad is going to happen.

Hate this early bit. Sense things are not tickity boo?

sweetkitty · 24/11/2007 20:50

at 12 hours sleep

I haven't even been to the GP yet, will make an appointment depending on the scan next week, he will only book me into the MW at 12 weeks anyway wonder if they will see me between Xmas and New Year.

MrsWednesday - I already have 2 DDs 3.4yo and 22 months

feb - nightmare about your boiler but lucky you can stay at your Mums and she can look after your DC

Mummywannabe · 24/11/2007 20:50

coolkat - my first pregnancy but i get very similiar pains some evenings - usually related to bowels i have seemed to work out, but sometimes just for no reason. Think its all ok, just everything being busy.
