Looking at a July 08 Baby - Just got my BFP. Anyone care to join me?

Can't believe it. Just got my BFP today and by my reckoning baby should be due 1st July.
Is there anyone else out there?

Libralady - I keep going to be early too! I am not a night owl at the best of times, but I really struggle to get to 10 pm! (Also it does not help that the bottle of wine is off limits, as the evenings seem very long!)

I've got my fingers crossed for all of you who are having an unsure time at the moment and am looking out for some good news from you, sending you hugs and thoughts.

I know how libralady and isaidno feel.... i'm struggling to stay awake all day, and my poor DP is being ignored, although he seems happy enough to play on his xbox!!!!!

Just got back from my MW appointment. My goodness how things have changed in 4 years. She's filled in all the blood test forms and physio referral(due to back problems stemming from my first pregnancy) and forms for both my 12 week and 20 week scans already. I did question that should I be unfortunate enough to have a MC then it would be a waste of time and she agreed, but this is the way it is done now. I've just got to make a decision as to whether or not I want the NT scan and blood tests done at my 12 week scan. Not too sure about this one but I am 38.
Got loads of pamphlets and Emmas Diary and she's made my booking in appt for 28th November. So far I've been really impressed about the information received and the level of care I have been given. I have read some real horror stories on other threads about the lack of interest from the NHS when someone has gotten pregnant and would like some reassurance and information, especially 1st time mums.

hi there, can i join. i did a test on saturday and got a very faint possitive. did another one today and it was slightly darker so i guess i'm pregnant?!! by my dates i'm due on 2nd July 2008. slightly surreal - i'd built myself up to it taking ages and we only started trying in august. i guess it's still early days and anything could happen though. i'm off to a wedding this weekend (short flight) and then off to see my folkes. i don't think i'll be able to keep it a secret so i'll be telling them on sunday night!! can't wait!! this will be my second, i've a dd 2yrs 7mo. i've made an appointment to see the doctor on thursday as the receptionist said i couldn't just make an appointment for the midwife for some unknown reason.

Hello, unfitmummy! Yours will be the same distance apart as mine - my DD is 2.6 (almost 2.7) too . Great name, btw - wish I'd chosen it!

May I join you? Got my BFP today and am due around the 5th. I've had several miscarriages in the last 18 months so don't know how long i'll be here. No point in being negative though. Maybe i'll be l;ucky this time.

I discovered I was pg on the Saturday, saw my GP on the Thursday and then saw my MW today (Monday). Have got my bookin in appt with MW on 28th November and will get my appt through from the hospital for my 12 week scan. It's all changed since I was pg 4 years ago. Not too sure if different NHS trusts do thing differently as I've heard some horrible stories on some threads about lack of interest from GPs. Luckily mine was nice and informative.

I haven't got my GP appt until next week but think i'm going to go today to be checked as I have a lot of tummy pain in particular on my LHS.... so much that I struggled to get to sleep last night!!!

I'm keeping my fingers crosssed there's nothing wrong.

I'm going to see my GP today. I'm hoping to get into the early pregnancy clinics since I've had so many problems. I'll probably go private though like I did with my DD. You get more scans

pigleychez - you normally need to contact the doctor when you are around 6 weeks for a first appt. If you ring the surgery now, you can check if that's the correct procedure for your area.
