Can't believe it. Just got my BFP today and by my reckoning baby should be due 1st July.
Is there anyone else out there?

Yes thanks, it is. Going for 3D scan on the 29th so really looking forward to that. Take care & look forward to speaking to you when we´ve "popped". Stay healthy

I was just wondering..what are you all eating?

For me, I make salsa and put in on everything eggs, tuna, tortilla chips. I just made a ham sandwich, but have been trying to eat more green things and starches and fruits. I did, however woof down three rice crispy treats last night.

mcchesers · 15/11/2007 16:20

sorry all I can do is think about food...

Mummywannabe · 15/11/2007 16:36

Mcchesers - good news!

Food - anything stodgy, potatoes, pasta but its a struggle to eat anything. Have horrible retching from about 3am till about 3pm. lost weight, trying hard to eat as much as possible but very hard when looking at it makes you retch!

sfxmum · 15/11/2007 16:38

nevermind it will hit all of us at some point

last time I spent ages sucking strong mints and drinking fizzy water for nausea then I discovered bags of Haribo sour mix.
I also remember eating lots of fish broccoli and asparagos

pigleychez · 15/11/2007 16:49

Hi all,

Been trying to eat healthily but today im afraid the healthy lunch that DH lovingly prepares got pushed aside for a slice of chocolate cake and a bag of Cheddars...oopps!
Just fancied Crap!

Went to a friends bonfire party at the weekend and she had made curry. I must have looked a right pig as I couldnt get enough of it and had about 3 plates piled high!

Had a few waves of nausea but so far thats as far as its got! Fingers crossed it says like that!!

expatinscotland · 15/11/2007 16:50

could it be? that i have escaped vomitting and nausea this time round?

don't want to jinx it! only 7 weeks along.

but the other two times it showed up at 6 weeks like clockwork.

have been doing my preggo exercise tapes and yoga DVDs daily like a good preggo, hoping desperately to avoid that oedema and also my stomach muscles separating again.

libralady · 15/11/2007 16:56

Expat,
I'm also 7 weeks and no sign of MS. I don't know whether to be concerned or not. (.)(.)s are conly slightly tender but I am tired. Couldn't stop yawning by 11.30am. And I went to bed at 9.30 last night!!!

expatinscotland · 15/11/2007 16:58

believe me, i'm not worried about escaping vomitting and nausea this time round!

my boobs are still SUPER sore and veiny, though.

sfxmum · 15/11/2007 17:02

expat
how on earth did you manage to separate the tummy muscles?

mcchesers · 15/11/2007 17:05

No puking over here yet just at 6 weeks but very drooly. I'm like a basset hound..can track a scent from a mile away, napping and drooling all the time. very attractive

Hey expat what yoga DVD's do you use? I have ashtanga yoga introduction poses.

sweetkitty · 15/11/2007 17:06

I have felt dog rough today, I have got that super tiredness that not even loads of sleep can ease, the nausea comes and goes, have no appetite whatsoever, I open the fridge and go blergh nothing in there I want and close it again, am trying to eat relatively healthy though mostly to stop me feeling hungry.

expat - I am much impressed with your daily yoga, I think I have some DVDs tucked away somewhere, maybe I'll put them out and me and the DDs can do some. DD1 has a Scottish day at nursery tomorrow so have been showing her some Highland Dancing, have realised I am v unfit, think I have pulled something as well.

expatinscotland · 15/11/2007 17:10

my muscles separated naturally during my last pregnancy. it's apparently quite common.

i do Yoga for Stress Relief, Yoga for Meditation and Power Yoga.

for cardio i do Denise Austin's Fit and Firm Pregnancy and a Karen Voight DVD - but i got both of these in the US and they're region 1 DVDs.

i've been doing workout DVDs for over a decade now, so my library is quite extensive.

expatinscotland · 15/11/2007 17:11

the fatigue has been hitting exactly the same time it did with the last two - about 4PM.

sfxmum · 15/11/2007 17:15

expat
never knew that, mighty impressed by the daily exercise.

last time I did Pilates which worked well, hope to keep up some light jogging too

SK sorry about the rough day, sometimes only chocolate cake will do I guess

mcchesers · 15/11/2007 17:31

Ok I am totally inspired now, and will pick up one of those yoga DVD's when I am home at Christmas. cool.

libralady · 15/11/2007 18:08

Evening all,

On the ttc thread someone has come up with a good idea about meeting up for a Christmas lunch somewhere.
I know someone the other day was asking where we are all situated.
How about it? Where would be the most central place? London I suppose.
I'm up for it if others are...........

OP posts:
sfxmum · 15/11/2007 19:21

that is in principle a good idea but speaking for myself December is quite booked up and adding to that MS/ worries before first scan etc. might be better to leave it for later.

also London not exactly central
my last ante natal manage a couple of meet ups along with a few by region which was very nice, still in touch with a few people

Verso · 15/11/2007 19:42

ooh - I'm giving birth to Nefertiti then . Don't you just love the old wives' tales? Like carrying high/carrying low or all around etc?

M/S starting to rev up a bit for me today. Probably not the best idea to start cooking turnip this evening.

Hello, PTIYPASY and congratulations!

And hello, sfxmum - does that make us neighbours then? I'll nip over for a cup of sugar later .

Verso · 15/11/2007 19:44

Aaargh! Done it again! I follow the thread but FORGETTOREADTHELASTPAGE so my comments are completely out of context. Sorry! pg brain alert!
