Beller - i got some lovely maternity jeans from Zara - so so comfy - and bonus for me as I am really tall, they where the only place I could find them long enough!

Naetha · 05/10/2007 11:27

Morning all, I'm so glad it's Friday!!!

Had my appraisal yesterday, and I think it went really well. I'll find out in January if I got my promotion or not (it's long overdue), but if I didn't, then I have reasonable grounds to sue under the discrimination whatsit thing. I really hope they just give me a decent payrise and promotion to the job I've been doing for 18 months!

Sorry you had such a nightmare experience T&T - it sounds horrible, but at least everything seems to have settled down now.

I hope the weekend gives everyone a chance to catch up on some much needed sleep, and to recharge those batteries. I'm finding day-to-day life a bit tougher at the moment - just stuff like bending down to feed the cats is getting to be a real problem!!

sideways · 05/10/2007 11:30

Cazzybaby - how long are the Zara jeans? I'm tall too and struggling to find decent trousers. I can't find anything on their website.

Triplets - sounds like a nightmare - glad you got through it ok.

Amani · 05/10/2007 11:48

where's MM today?

Afternoon ladies.
Neatha bend your knees not your back please?
Not the only one with pregnant brain Amani. I was going to buy a ring sling from Ebay thinking it was nice and cheap at £4.99 payed for it and everything only to realise it was in fact a pattern for a ring sling. I emailed the seller who thankfully understood so I bought a proper ring sling off her for £14.99.
Havn't got it yet though because of the mail srike
Tummy alot better today though only eating plain stuff.
Used my Summer listening system last night and got babys heartbeat straight away. Sounded like he had a drum kit in there!
Awen any advance on Weetabix for your ds today?

beller · 05/10/2007 12:59

Hi Ladylush! xx

Cazzybaby - I really like them...not exactly a short arse..but still too long Must be a nightmare for you though, at least i can get them taken up Although both legs the same length might be nice!)

Naetha - must admit getting socks on is becomming fun!

Gingme - how is your ds?

Awen - hope eating and swallowing is better otday? x

Sideways - im 5ft5 and i had to have at least a good 4 inches taken up i think?

MamaMaiasaura · 05/10/2007 13:17

amani - lol at preg brain. I have had a brain like that for ages

gingeme about your upset tummy. Glad to hear it is settling. Ds is still complaining of earache. Not sure wether he has an ear infection or if referred pain as his throat isnt too bad now at all (his words ) He managed weetabix and some fruit for breakfast. I think he is def on the mend now. Might call dr re ears later just to check if he needs to be seen for his ear pain. Temp not too bad 37.4 - 99f

Beller - how annoying about jeans. I got some dotty p over the bump delivered. Am usually size 12 in their jeans so got the same size jeans. They are too big. Thing is i wore them for a day so cant take them back, but i keep having to yank them up.

Naetha - glad appraisal went well

tripletsandtwins - glad tht everything settled down.

xxx

MamaMaiasaura · 05/10/2007 13:17

Ladylush - xxx

Naetha · 05/10/2007 14:04

I usually squat down rather than bending anyway, its just a case of accompanying room for the bump when I squat!!

I made a bit of a mistake - we all went out for a team lunch at work, and my eyes were bigger than my stomach, and now I can hardly breathe!!

I really need to keep up with my excercise, definitely getting a lot less fit! Just a bit difficult with all the bad weather, not to mention the nights drawing in.

BeckyAu · 05/10/2007 14:18

Hi ladies

Just dropping in - am removing horrid wallpaper from LO's room in preperation for the builders sorting the roof above next week. Then I can do the fun stuff like choosing paint and furniture

Just a quick question - is anyone else suffering from really really really itchy boobs? The skin is tingling all the time and I want to scratch scratch scratch! They've grown suddenly again in the last week so it could be the skin stretching but it is driving me CRAZY!!!!!!! Hoping I'm not alone. I'm not hoping you all have itchy boobs of course - I just wanted to check I'm "normal"? xxx

Naetha · 05/10/2007 14:59

My boobs feel really itchy at the moment, but not the skin - kind of inside to the side...if that makes any sense!!

susiemj · 05/10/2007 15:29

I've got an itchy bump. I think these babes and bodies are on the move. We're going to get biogger ladies!

susiemj · 05/10/2007 15:30

Sorry. Bigger

gingeme · 05/10/2007 15:34

Yes an itchy left booby today. I think I need a bigger bra too.
Im getting alot of skin tags too. I do when Im pregnant under my arm pits. No idea why

ladylush · 05/10/2007 15:36
beller · 05/10/2007 15:57

yup im itchy too..but have never called myself normal

the dark line thingy has gone up to my belly button (still an inny) and above!!!!!! very attractive i must say

Naetha · 05/10/2007 16:04

No linea nigra here (although I do have a line of hair...kind of a slug trail!) but definitely lots of skin tags!!

Has anyone else found almost overnight into the third trimester all the pregnancy niggles setting in?

Within a week of turning 27 weeks, I've started getting heartburn, sciatica, terrible headaches, stuffy nose, and the complete inability to get a full night's sleep.

Roll on the birth I say! (although I hope it doesn't happen before the spare room is complete!)

Naetha · 05/10/2007 16:05

bah that should have read spare room nursery - damn this technology!!

Naetha · 05/10/2007 16:06

Oh fiddle, strike out.

I give up - thank goodness it's Friday!!

hmm test spare room

Naetha · 05/10/2007 16:07

Aha got it!!!

[gets her coat]

beller · 05/10/2007 16:44

Naetha - Yes i have bad sleep,.. bunged up nose at night..heart burn...growing pains on right side ....28 weeks today....12 weeks to go...bring it on!

Cazzybaby · 05/10/2007 17:08

Sideways ? they are really long, I usually take 34 ? 35 inch legs and they are plenty long enough on me. The website is awfull! I actually went in today and bought another pair in black cos they are so comfy! Nowhere seems to cater for tall pregnant ladies grrr!

Beller ? I am struggling with socks, my leg doesn?t seem to come up as high as it used to, it kind of hitsmy bump then stops!

With regards to the itching I have it on my tummy

sideways · 05/10/2007 18:48

Thanks Cazzybaby. We don't have a Zara here so was hoping to order some but will have to hunt down my nearest store. I also need 34".

I am also having sleep problems and have a very itchy left nipple!!

Have a good weekend everyone.
