Careful about shaving your belly love it'll grow back twice as thick. As for the down below bits I gave that up weeks ago well lets face dh not interested so why should I struggle to do it
Well off to bed. Bellys a bit upset again. Think I was a bit adventurous with sausages for dinner tonight though they were yummy.

Sounds like you have been having a really busy time. Hope the house move goes ok, are you moving in time for xmas?. Is ds3 settling into nursery? I really hope you get your positive result soon and that beanie sticks. Sending hugs xx

lisa111 · 05/10/2007 23:43

Awen,

The little fella has had nothing but ear infections, the house has been dragging on for 7 weeks. We hope to be in b4 Christmas.

Sex is the last thing on my mind, but its been 4 1/2 months since my M/C and something has to turn out right (fingers crossed).

I will keep you updated, take care.

Going out this afternoon to make a start on my Christmas shopping. Decided to get books for all the kids this year. Something different from toys.
Well have a good weekend all xxx

barristermum · 06/10/2007 13:30

Hi girls - so sorry to hear about triplets and twins dramas and now fruitful too - sending you both all my love and hoping everything is alright.
Like Awen and Naetha I have a much hairier tummy - really long thick dark ones snaking up to my belly button which is especially weird as I generally have very fair hair. Am just about managing to keep up with armpits and legs but totally given up on bikini line - so much overhang can't see the point anymore! And bent over suddenly yesterday evening and had the most terrific stabbing pains in tummy - reckon I can't have given enough time for insides to adjust but had to hold onto kitchen units for it to subside. Was alarmed but lots of kicking since then so calmed down - strange tho'. Am sleeping ok but heartburn is still a constant.
Mixedmama - loved macbeth. Hugely recommended and Patrick Stewart was fabulous. It's a really cleverly conceived production with some really original ideas - weird sisters and setting especially and I think your husband would totally forget it's Shakespeare in a few minutes. Would try and get the best seats you can afford tho' - we were a bit far back and it was harder to get involved.
Nicky6 - hope row subsided and you are feeling more supported now - bad husband for picking on you when you are just trying to make things lovely. Chin up honey. Have you decided what to do about filling the fraud trial gap?
Have lovely weekends all. xxxx

tripletsandtwins · 06/10/2007 14:33

Hope everything is okay fruitful xx

Thanks for everything you've said, it was very scary and emotionally draining but the beanies are still growing well, they are both good weights for their gestation.

Sorry for your belly gingerme, I hope it gets better for you soon xx Asleep till 7! WOW! I want a lie in like that

Nicky6 - hope everything has cleared up with your dh now! xx

Barristermum - glad you had a nice time at Shakespeare! I was one of the few at my old school that liked him

Have a nice weekend everyone xx

MamaMaiasaura · 06/10/2007 16:17

sabinar · 06/10/2007 20:59

hey all,

hope you're all doing well. I've been swamped with work and conferences ... so much to do! Managed to get a few hours off to go to my first Pregnancy Yoga class (good!) and watch the rugby (not so good), but have a stack of work to get through yet. Working for yourself is definitely a mixed blessing.

so... I have a really dumb question, I wonder if you can help me. I don't know how many months pregnant I am. I know how many weeks (26) but how do the weeks track to months? I can't work it out! Anyone know how it works?

Hope you all have super relaxing weekends

susiemj · 06/10/2007 23:30

Hi Sabinar! You're the same as me! 26 weeks. So, we're both 6 months pregnant and in our 7th month of pregnancy. There's a website called iampregnant.com whichahs a calculator on it under pregnancy by week. It tells you the days you've done andhow many you've got left too.

I have had the most awfully bloated feeling all day. Really uncomfortable. Anyone else had this? ugh!

Tired and crampy and grumpy. Here's hoping tomorrow is better.

Have a good Sunday everyone.

sabinar · 07/10/2007 09:12

thanks for the link Susie - that should sort me out! (Anyone else who is interested might want to go to www.i-am-pregnant.com - the original link (without the hyphens) leads you to some not so family friendly content!)

wow, so only 93 days until the due date... that's a bit of a head spin! I wonder how many days I'll have left before I start getting myself organised! ;)

you don't really need a nursery when the baby is born if they're going to sleep in your room for a while, do you?

(Then again, I guess, once you have the baby, what are the chance you'll have time to make a little nursery all cute and organised?!)

gingeme · 07/10/2007 11:53

Morning ladies.
How are you today Fruitful?
Must admit I am of you ladies organising nurseries for your beans. Its been 13 years since I did that for my first ds then it was a matter of them sharing with their older siblings. Still guess thats why Im lucky having blue ones, I don't have to change the decor
My 11 month old is a fully fledged walker now. He looks like a little drunkerd waddlin along with his arms out stretched. Oh we were in fits of laughter yesterday. He was trying to keep up with his older brother and kept falling as he did so. Good job he has a nappy on
Im feeling much better today. My breakfast seems to have stayed where it should.
I even managed to do a bit of Christmas shopping too yesterday. Im very pleased with myself.
Hope your all enjoying a lazy Sunday. xx

susiemj · 07/10/2007 12:51

Sorry Sabinar! I was too lazy to do the proper link yesterday. Didn't realise it might lead somewhere unsavoury...

Felt awful about complaining yesterday when Fruitful is in hospital. Sorry fruitful, and nice to meet you. Hope you're doing well.

Feeling much better today. Talk about relief!

MomBanks · 07/10/2007 14:15

Happy Sunday everyone -
Not a particularly exciting one here, unfortunately catching up on overdue tax returns......
But I did go get a manicure this morning to take advantage of my nice strong nails while they last!

Question for you all - I have gotten 2 little skin tags under each arm - never had them before pregnancy. Will they go away on their own after the birth or are they around for good?

susiemj · 07/10/2007 14:31

Hello Mombanks,
I think they're supposed to go away of they're own accord.

susiemj · 07/10/2007 16:04

Can anyone help me?

Sorry if you've seen this request on another thread BUT

WE're moving house and we need to buy a sofabed for the living room. I'm housebound and DH is working all the hours god sends so we need to buy online. Don't really want to do without a recommendation.

WE've looked at Argos and Burford sofas. There are some things that are ok but we're not v. convinced. The added complication is that aw we live in rural Wales John Lewis, Ikea etc don't deliver to us.

Any suggestions? Sorry. Iknow it's not a pregnancy thing. We're moving 1st November so we don't have much time. Thanks in advance for any help.

rosebud1980 · 07/10/2007 17:34
