I got BFP this morning six months to the day after my MC, only 12DPO but so happy. Please pray this one holds on!!!! I am due on June 1 according to OV calendars so have the pleasure of starting this thread.

Anyone else out there or am I the only mental person who tests this early?

Gracie Sorry to hear we're in the same boat. As you're at five weeks yours could well be an implantation bleed (where some blood is released as the egg burrows into the wall of the womb) so try to stay positive. I'm doing some overdue work on a major project just now to try to keep my mind off it.

At five weeks I don't think they can scan for a heartbeat, - the GP I spoke to earlier today said that's a six week minimum, but does anyone know any different?

I've had a good look around on the internet on this today and the consensus seems to be that if it stops within 24 hours you should tell your "healthcare provider" next time you see them. Any more than 24 hours and you should go in and see them asap. But I'm going in either way on Monday afternoon as this is now the second time I've had this.

Can you talk to your mum? I've decided to ask mine about this after all as mums and daughters often have similar pregnancies.

Good luck!

Rolf Thanks for the support. Urgh. I hate not knowing.

BSL sorry to hear of your decision. Fingers crossed Friday gives you a nice surprise.

BSL - so sorry to hear that you're leaving us, I hope it's not for long

Take care

TwilightSurfer · 27/10/2007 22:58

Sorry to read about all the worry this weekend. Best wishes to BSL, ChinaSurprise, & Gracie14*.

Finally had one bit of MS but it was very early in the morning and I'd had nothing to eat/drink therefor I just made gross noises for five minutes. I've been extremely tired and sleeping alot...well as much as DD will let me. My sleep schedule is all messed up now. Officially 8 weeks today. Hard to believe two whole months have flown by already. It will be June before we know it.

goingfor3 · 28/10/2007 07:58

Last night I had some bright red spotting and have had more this morning. I have really bad thrush so I'm hoping that the bleeding is all external and caused by that. If I have more today and tommorow I will call epu in the morning

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 28/10/2007 08:19

Thanks everyone, I'll come back and confirm what the scan says on Friday.

G43 - I've had bleeding from thrush but not when pregnant and can imagine how scary it is. Just thinking though...if it's BRIGHT red and your thrush is really bad, that COULD be a good sign. I would imagine that the thrush would create creamy stuff like mine does (sorry, tmi!) and therefore would dilute the blood if from inside? Mine's been pinky blood but Dr said that's just because it's mixed in with creamy discharge (lovely eh!). I really hope everything is ok but I think you should call EPU tomorrow anyway, just for peace of mind (even if it's gone). Did you get seen earlier in your pregnancy when you were worried? {{{hugs}}}

LT xx

debinaustria · 28/10/2007 08:26

TS - I make lots of gross noises too!! I rarely lose more than a mouthful of food, but it's still horrible...
but then I read about other people's worries and I'm glad to be sick every day!!

3rdontheway · 28/10/2007 09:44

Morning everyone.
goingforthree Hope you are feeling better and the blood has stopped.
I havent got as much of an appetite and am feely a tiny bit nauseous.
I think my norks have gotten a bit bigger after all. They do feel a bit heavier now.

sophiewd · 28/10/2007 09:47

Morning all

Fingers crossed for everyone who is worried. Have got a couple of days of now from doing B&B and of to hypnotherapy tomorrow for a final kick up the backside to rid myself of the evil weed.

Sickness has gone, wasn't long last time either, but still very tired in afternoons and feeling tight and crampy in stomach.

Enjoy a relaxing Sunday.

3rdontheway · 28/10/2007 09:49

Gracie14 to hear of your bleeding.
Are you going to the Hospital/Doctors tommorrow?

3rdontheway · 28/10/2007 09:51

Morning sophiewd
Whens your EDD?

goingfor3 · 28/10/2007 10:08

Gracie14 I'm so sorry.

bloodsuckingLOONEY - I was last seen a couple of weeks ago and have an appointment in a week and a half. I haven't checked on the bleeding again but this morning I pushed a bit of toilet paper gentley inside and it was clear so I imagine it is from the outside. This happened when I was pregnant with DD1 too from servre thrush and it feels so uncomfrotable as I have left it too long to start treating it, I always hope it will disappear by itself but it never does! How's your bleeding today?

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 28/10/2007 10:19

Gracie14 - I'm so sorry, that must be really scary. I know how you feel about taking your name off, I was going to do the same too. But....I just wanted to reassure you that I know lots of people who've bled HEAVILY during pregnancy and been fine. I'll keep everything crossed that there's still hope for you {{{hugs}}} How do you feel apart from the bleeding?

goingfor3 - Oh, that's hopeful! I hate thrush, used to get it every month until I change pills. And always bleeding on outside due to scratching in the night etc! Good luck with the scan but if you do get worried, just get them to check you sooner! My bleeding is still very minimal when I wipe, certainly nothing gets on my knickers like last time but it's not the bleeding that's made me think it's over, it's the loss of all symptoms and the 'intuition'. And (don't laugh!)....I asked my crystal (I know, I know but it's got sooo many things right) and it says this baby isn't going to make it but I will be pg again in January so we'll see. Can't think about another pg just yet, it's hard enough having to wait until Friday to get the confirmation!!

sophiewd · 28/10/2007 10:52

3rdontheway, EDD is 26th June, ( I was queenofbleach on the list), I had a c section last time as didn't go into labour and if they offer then will probably take it up again which means earlier.

calebsmum · 28/10/2007 12:22

Wow this list has grown!! Sorry not posted for a few weeks but have had horrid morning sickness with this pregnancy, never felt this sick with DS, also DS has decided this is the perfect time to start dropping his afternoon naps and asserting himself with massive tantrums!

Congrats NH101 hope you can enjoy and relax a little with this pregnancy.

ChinaSurprise · 28/10/2007 15:13

Gracie14 So sorry to hear it has got worse, but it might be good to get doc to check all the same as you could still be fine.

My bleeding has stopped again - was pretty much like it was the first time, just a teeny bit of brown (old?) blood mixed in with usual discharge (sorry, tmi probly). The first time it was just once I found it early in the morning and in the end this time was only a couple of times yesterday morning and nothing since then. So am hopeful again now and determined not to think the worst if it happens again, as pre conception I occasionally spotted between periods. Although have turned into an obsessive knicker watcher unsurprisingly!
Still going to get into EPU this week - maybe Friday, to get an official word.
Fingers crossed for everyone

ChinaSurprise · 28/10/2007 15:14

Still getting mild nausea/ backache/ lightheadedness and v tired today so am taking this as a good sign.

imopop · 28/10/2007 15:30

Good luck to everyone who is having bleeding. Its so scary but hopefully things will be okxxxx

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 28/10/2007 17:01

ChinaSurprise - glad it's stopped and you still have symptoms, that's a good sign Do get checked at EPU if it's worrying you though, they should be able to see you the same day! Keep us posted and fingers crossed all is weel.

ChinaSurprise · 28/10/2007 17:12

Thanks guys. The support on this forum is really helpful.

calebsmum · 28/10/2007 18:06

I had bleeding with DS1, has previously had a miscarriage so panicked like mad, it did stop and I had a scan at 6wks and they found a heartbeat. Think 1 in 4 women experience some bleeding during pregnancy, can't remember where I read that though.

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 28/10/2007 18:08

Has anyone else had a bit of bleeding AND lost all pregnancy symptoms but gone on to be ok?

debinaustria · 29/10/2007 06:26

Hi BSL - glad you're still here, any sign of those symptoms this morning? Any more bleeding?

Hope everyone else is OK too

Things are OK here, just exhausted this weekend.
