@Sara7455 Really hope you’re OK. My friend had pre-eclampsia in both her pregnancies, and carried the babies to term so fingers crossed for you. At least (as annoying as it is!) you’re in the best place, and getting plenty of rest. Hope you’ve got a Kindle!
@MooseWL Your midwife should’ve given you a phone number for calling about reduced movements? Her advice to me was to have a cold drink, lie on my left side and stay there for 2 hours with no distractions (easier said than done with a 3 year old at home who likes to come and check on you!). She said within the 2 hours, you should have at least 10 movements. If you’ve felt nothing within the first hour, call the number. If you have some movements but not many within the 2 hours, call the number. Much better to ring and then to say everything’s fine than to leave it.
I’ve had a couple of instances where I’ve thought the baby hasn’t moved much in last few weeks, and on reflection later (once I’ve had the lie down and plenty of movements), I’ve realised I’ve just been really busy doing something else and not really paying too much attention. I haven’t noticed a pattern either mind - except for first thing in the morning, and when I get into bed at night... and I guess this is just because I’m listening out more.
You all sound like you’re getting really organised. We are not at all 😂 We’ve just about cleared out our spare bedroom for H to move in to (as it’s bigger than his current bedroom), then have to redecorate etc - the bedroom furniture from the spare room needs to go to the tip first. My husbands so laid back but I like to be organised, so it will be done in the next few weeks lol.
My scan is FINALLY going ahead on Sunday, so will hopefully be out of Team Yellow and will be able to plan a little more! Xx
