Hello Binatracy you didnt waste much time getting over here good for u!! You're on the case booking your GP appt too I haven't yet, but I should, they get very booked up. Congratulations, again, on your first pg, it's so exciting, I guarantee it!!

MrsWednesday · 20/10/2004 14:27

Hello Binatracy. I didn't have many symptoms when I got my BFP, but they've gradually increased as time has passed (I'm about 6 weeks now). Not sick, just tired, sore boobs and severely constipated.

And the farts....my DH is quite horrified by me at the moment . I keep saying 'it's a symptom, I can't help it' when I let rip, but I don't think he quite believes me. I even managed to disgust my DS this morning!!!

binatracy · 20/10/2004 14:31

LipstickMum · 20/10/2004 14:34

I only tested a wek ago bina, 3 times like you! Its my second, have a dd 18 months already. No symptoms as yet, except tiredness and aforementioned bowel slowness

Mrs Wednesday - last time I blamed the farts on the dog...haven't got her anymore and I don't think DH will believe it's the canary

Bina - I'm @8 weeks - EDD 2nd June, and from the far away county of Bedfordshire!

binatracy · 20/10/2004 14:41

sorry ladies dont know what happened then
sent loads of times

LipstickMum · 20/10/2004 14:58

hehe Bina, are you new to MN?

thelollipoplady · 20/10/2004 15:14

congratulations everyone, i just found out i'm pregnant with my second - but only 4 weeks! I'm having to dodge the inevitable "so when are you having your next one?" questions!

MrsWednesday · 20/10/2004 15:34

Congratulations lollipoplady. People are so nosy aren't they? It's non-stop questions - when are you getting married, when are you having kids, when are you having another one.... It would be great if you could just say 'mind your own business'.

How old is your first one? (tell me to mind my own business if you like!). I have a DS who is 2.

teabelly · 20/10/2004 15:41

Congratulations lollipoplady and welcome

katzguk · 20/10/2004 16:04

bina - symptoms all pretty much text book horrible morning sickness (not as bad as DD but then started earlier), feel sick all day unless i munch on something, very tired, indegestion. This is be baby 2 for us i have a DD who has 2 last week.

my boss commented today that i had lost weight so ask if i was okay (he's knows i'm PG) because last time i lost lots of weight due to being sick, also told me to go home and put my feet up anytime i was feeling rotten. Think it helps that his wife is about 4 weeks further along!!

LipstickMum · 20/10/2004 16:15

Congrats LollipopLady!! I am also early on in 2nd pg, 5 weeks 2morrow But, I'm so excited I want to tell EVERYONE!!!

welshmum · 20/10/2004 19:17

Haven't managed to get on here all day but still big congrats to lollipop and bina.
I've had really good day today - not much sickness - managed to consume my own body weight in pasta at lunchtime! and dont feel too knackered. Does anyone else find that the symptoms really come and go? (this is so different from my other pgs)

NQWWW · 20/10/2004 19:43

Congrats Lollipoplady and Bina! Bina - definitely worth seeing your gp straight away - they will tell you if you have a choice of hospitals, and you might need to be booked in now for tests (eg nuchal test - depends on your age really).

How come everyone else seems to be able to eat pasta when they're pregnant? I can't face it at all, or rice, or bread, or potatoes. And I don't eat meat, so my diet is getting incredibly limited. Last pgy I ate so many sweets, biscuits etc that I put on masses of weight and they kept detecting sugar in my urine and making me have glucose tolerance tests, so I'm determined to avoid doing that again, but its so hard. I'm feeling sick all day and craving a sugar hit - trying to control it with fruit salad and bowls of frozen peas - how long will I be able to hold out?

lollienoodles · 20/10/2004 19:56

Hello,

I wonder if you mind me joining?

My name is Beck. I am 26 and mum of 2 lovely girls. Lauren - 3 and Nadia 9 months. Oh and I come from South Wales.

Our new baby is due on June 18th so I hope to stick around here and compare bumps with all of you.

Congratulations to everyone!

Love Beck xxx

mrsflowerpot · 20/10/2004 20:05

Hello everyone, hope you're all well today. Congratulations and welcome lollipop and bina!

Not alot to report from me today - feeling wiped as have had day from hell with ds (3.5) - friend was round with her two kids and ds took enormous exception to her 18month old sitting on my lap and holding my hand - aaargh does not bode well. Plus I have caught some godawful nursery lurgy and am just remembering what it is like to go through the whole winter with no access to Lemsip!

Oh and I have gone off chocolate. Where is the justice in that???

mrsflowerpot · 20/10/2004 20:07

hi lollienoodles, posts crossed there! Congratulations. My due date is 15 June so we're just around the same stage then.
Whereabouts in South Wales are you? I'm just over the bridge in South Glos.
