Phoebe,

Not sad at all - If I wasn't married with child I'd be camping outside his front door!!!! Not that I'm a psychopath or anything

muddaofsuburbia · 29/10/2004 12:39

I saw Ant and Dec in concert years ago and they were fab. I've still got a tour t-shirt but I use it for decorating in! I've still got my PJ & Duncan album lurking around somewhere too.... "Oh Amaaanda - I've gone bliiiind" classic Byker

Hello Maxn21 - blimey, you have been busy!

Megi, have you decided to have an early scan?

Uwila · 29/10/2004 16:45

Welcome Panda!

Yeah, I'm a thread straddler too. May and June for me though. I figure it doesn't really matter because as we all know, they show up when THEY want to and not necessarily when we want to get them out.

Cobweb · 29/10/2004 16:53

Sweetheart it was a very dressy affair and next year we are going to hire a Merc and driver so he drops us off on the red carpet which is what some members of the public were doing.

M/S hasn't been too bad today although the metallic taste is driving me mad.

Personal Stats:

Age 34
Married to DH for 6 years
DS = 5
DS = 2½
First day of my last period was 29th August 2004 - haven't worked out exact dates yet!

Seeing my midwife for a booking in session hopefully tomorrow. She phoned me this afternoon and said she might be in the area if a woman she is dealing with has had her baby and would it be ok for her to come to the house.

sweetheart · 29/10/2004 16:57

Panda oh snap!!!! Haven't had my dates confirmed yet but I'm guessing I'm due on 30th June!!!!!

MrsWednesday · 29/10/2004 18:27

Oh I am feeling very sorry for myself here. I have just had the afternoon from hell.

After I posted my last message, I went to do some washing up, foolishly leaving the computer unattended. When I came back my DS had removed half the keys from the laptop! No idea how he did it. As I was looking at the damage he came over saying 'poo, poo'. He'd done a poo and then put his hands in his nappy and was waving them in front of me. One smelly nappy change, shower and top change later (me and him), I went downstairs to look in the Yellow Pages to find a computer shop to repair the damage, taking my eye off my DS for about a minute. In that time he managed to throw catfood all over the kitchen floor and put their dishes in the bin. So, I've spent the afternoon at a computer shop miles away, sat in the car outside, reading the paper whilst they fixed the damage and DS slept like an angel. Thirty bloody quid down the drain.

And to top it all off, when I came home I went to the loo and noticed that I was spotting blood. So I've spent the last half an hour crying and panicking. Have no idea what to do now.

LipstickMum · 29/10/2004 18:56

Oh Fuck. What a day. HOw are things now Mrs W??
Will bbl dp is home, he likes me to at least say hello...

LipstickMum · 29/10/2004 19:01

What's happening Mrs W? Am around if you need to talk.

LipstickMum · 29/10/2004 19:03

Oops, sorry for swearing and not bleeping , not sure about MN etiquette on actually writing the words

Cobweb · 29/10/2004 19:43

MrsWednesday you need to get it checked out, can you go to hospital. In my area we have an Early Pregnancy Unit and the Emergency department will also see you.

My heart goes out to you babe and if you need to talk I am here. I had spotting around 5 weeks and only had the scan last week to confirm that everything was ok (((hugs)))

Can anyone recommend a good dating site to confirm my weeks. The first day of my last period was 29 August but I don't know when I ovulated.

MrsWednesday · 29/10/2004 19:52

Thank you so much for your quick responses. It seems to have stopped now. Not sure if the hospital would scan me if I only had a scan on Wednesday? My DH is home now and he reminded me that this happened with my DS (probably around the same time actually). But I can't help but think the worst, as I'm sure you know the feeling Cobweb.

Arrgh, I'm so SICK of things going wrong. If I m/c again I don't think I'll be able face doing this again.

LipstickMum · 29/10/2004 19:53

I just googled pregnancy dating Cobweb and got a few sites, there are loads.

Poor Mrs W! I hope she is ok

It's weird, and lovely how closely one can relate to people on here in such a short space of time. I already feel a bond with the women who post on this thread? is that silly??

LipstickMum · 29/10/2004 19:55

Glad you posted Mrs W. Good that dh is home to be with you. I'm keeping everything crossed that it doesn't mean anything and all will be fine. It's hard to know what to say but, anyway am really, really thinking of you.
