Morning June mums-to-be! Glad to hear everyone is feeling well and truly sick that's what we like to hear, all those hormones raging! I am not feeling sick yet, on the one hand I want to feel sick = properly pg, on the other hand I can't cope with the constant nausea again = flippin awful. Can't have it both ways though.

Apart from feeling tired I am HUNGRY most of the day too, it's ridiculous, perhaps I should lay down some stores in preparation for losing them all again during the sick weeks

katzguk · 22/10/2004 11:34

stil sick sick sick!!! throw up lots this AM DH being wonderful and getting DD dressed and breastfasted in morning. Morning cup of tea now bouncing too so sickness lasting for longer each day!! sitting at my desk trying not to run to the loo to throw up!! probably just need to get some lunch!!

Glad to here i'm not alone!! Going to tell the parentals in a fortnight because DM is coming to stay and doubt she would be as unobservant as step FIL!! plus she can do some of the morning routine for me so i can crawl back into bed!!

muddaofsuburbia · 22/10/2004 12:57

Right it's now official.

7 weeks tomorrow and I've just emerged from the bathroom after chucking up. Hurrah! My first ever preggy puke

Is it true you have more sickness with a girl? Cos I had no sickness, just nausea, with ds. Now I'm wondering. And now I have so much more sympathy for people with morning sickness (even if mine was midday!) I really got off lightly last time round!

Bleurgh..

welshmum · 22/10/2004 13:01

Hello all. I was just wondering about sickness. I had absolutely none with dd and now have it - so am I having a ds?

katzguk · 22/10/2004 13:12

i had loads with DD and havign loads now just don't think my body likes being pregnant!!

katzguk · 22/10/2004 13:12

my mum tyhrew up with boys and not weith girls so thought that DD was going to be a boy

muddaofsuburbia · 22/10/2004 13:15

I just did a Google on old wives tales for guessing your baby's sex. Apparently loads of morning sickness means a girl and not much means a boy. Hmmmm. Was true with ds, but too early to say this time round.

Does anyone want to find out the sex of their baby before the birth? I'll keep it a surprise again.

katzguk · 22/10/2004 13:17

not decided yet, kinda do to prepare DD for it better but then again would like the suprise, wasn't an issue with DD they didn't tell but now they do!!ahhhh

MrsWednesday · 22/10/2004 13:51

I'm so sorry you're all feeling so poorly, you have my deepest sympathies. It sounds absolutely awful. I'm feeling the tiniest bit queasy but nothing on the same scale as you lot.

Don't think I'll find out what we're having this time round, would like another surprise.

Have finally booked my scan - next Wednesday at 8.30am. I'm absolutely dreading it.

Cobweb · 22/10/2004 15:28

Being brave and coming on to say hello.

I am a graduate from the TTC11 thread and had a missed miscarriage and have had early spotting with this pregnancy, but had a scan today and they confirmed that everything was right for my dates.

The sac, pole and heartbeat were all ok but she did say that it was a "snap shot" in time and to still remember to take into consideration that miscarriage could still occur.

Hence not coming over here fully but staying with the girls on TTC11 just in case.

If everything goes well my due date is 5th June and I am 7 weeks 5 days. I have very sore boobs, feel sick morning and night and sometimes all day and my stomach is huge. Well after having two children (DS's) I suppose that's what happens LOL.

Had to mention my mood swings as well to see if I am not the only one. I find that I am snapping at the smallest things, crying at things that wouldn't normally set me off and am so so so tired.

Good to say hello and happy pregnancies to everyone on here hugs

katzguk · 22/10/2004 15:32

welcome!!!and congratulations

i'm due June 11th so a few days behind you

MrsWednesday · 22/10/2004 17:44

Great news about your scan Cobweb, I was thinking about you today. And well done for being brave and popping in here!

I can understand your nerves and anxiety, I've also had a missed m/c (and an early one), so these first few weeks are especially horrible.

Judging by what the hospital said to you, do you think there is any point me having a 'reassurance' early scan at 7 weeks? Or should I wait until about 10 weeks?

BUBBALOO · 22/10/2004 18:48

hi everyone.hope you dont mind me joining in.i've just found out im 7 wks pg with our first baby, after 6 years of ttc and we are sooooooo happy,it seems unreal! havent many symptoms yet except sore boobs and tiredness.not looking forward to the sickness though. due date is 11th june and i cant wait!

LipstickMum · 22/10/2004 18:51

Oh my gosh Bubbaloo, that is AMAZING and fantastic news for you Welcome to a lovely thread!

mrsflowerpot · 22/10/2004 18:54

Congratulations Bubbaloo, that's fantastic news!

Hope everyone is OK this evening - have had my first day of feeling properly rubbish today. We're off to my parents for half term tomorrow, so we're going to have to 'come out' - bit earlier than we would have liked but never mind. When are the rest of you telling?

Anyway, have a good weekend all, will post when I get home.

LipstickMum · 22/10/2004 18:56

I had nausea and no vomitting with my dd, so, that holds with the old wives tale. I don't think it makes any difference

I think we'll keep the sex of babs a secret again, I would love to know, but also want the 'surprise'.

Whya re you dreading your scan Mrs Wednesday?...

LipstickMum · 22/10/2004 18:58

Mrs FP, I have 'come out' with a couple of girlfriends already! Last time we waited till the 'official' 12 week mark, after scans etc. This time I don't think we'll bother. Maybe 10 weeks...?

BUBBALOO · 22/10/2004 19:05

we've already told loads of people even though it's still early days so fingers crossed!

Tessiebear · 22/10/2004 19:13

(Tiptoes in) Can i join this thread please have just got a BFP - due 23rd June. Already have 2 DS's of 6 and nearly 4

BUBBALOO · 22/10/2004 19:16

welcome tessiebaer.ive also only just joined in so it's congrats all round!!

mrsflowerpot · 22/10/2004 19:34

congratulations tessiebear!! that ttc thread really was lucky.

And Cobweb, nice to see you here too - sorry, hadn't read all the way down earlier.

MrsWednesday · 22/10/2004 20:45

Blimey Bubbaloo, that really is amazing news. You must be in a state of shock!!!

Tessiebear, congratulations to you too. I can't believe how many of us have graduated from that thread! Have you got a big grin on your face?!

MrsFP, we've told a few people already - had to tell my family last week as we were celebrating my Dad's 60th birthday and I turned down a glass of red wine (which never usually happens).

Lipstickmum, dreading scan because of last time when I found at my 13 wk scan that I'd had a missed m/c .

Tessiebear · 22/10/2004 21:05

HUGE grin Mrs W Hasnt quite sunk in yet!!! 3 children AHHHHHHH!!! DH tells me that 3 is the magic number!

Cobweb · 22/10/2004 21:54

MrsWednesday I wouldn't have been scanned but I had bleeding at the beginning of Oct. I would say that if everything is going well then wait until the 10 week scan.

Things are so tiny at this stage that I was picking things out that really you wouldn't see.

Thank you ladies for your welcome posts hugs

LipstickMum · 22/10/2004 23:14

Oh, Mrs W Really sorry to hear that. Can't imagine what that must feel like. Good luck for the up-coming scan, will keep fingers crossed
