Hello
am over here...!!!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Lulubump · 14/09/2007 11:14

Don't worry Angechica, and just blame it on the hormones! IMO, as long as you can still tell when you are in a rage/being irrational, then you're fine

MotherofZ · 14/09/2007 11:16

yes been feeling very sensitive to little things this week and generally a bit low. Prob that's why I've been pigging out and eating loads of chocolate...don't worry hun, we're all in the same boat. Feel free for a rant anytime..

Hi all
Just asked this on another thread so going to ask you ladies: My breasts feel strange, well the skin on part of them. it feels sort of papery despite constant moisturising. its only on the part of the breasts that would be exposed in a low ish cut top if that makes sense. is this the onset of stretch marks do you think? i can't actually see anything...
???

beller · 14/09/2007 11:42

((((((((((Angechica)))))))))) I have actually had a good week this week, but last week was dreadful when i was around 23/24 wks. Chin up hun xx

Neuro - My boobs are feeling weird, but on the nipple..really bobbly and a bit itchy ?

karenLouise · 14/09/2007 11:47

I too have noticed bobbly nipples this morning - wasn't sure wether to be worried or if it's just one of those things? I'm currently 23 +1

Neuro · 14/09/2007 11:53

i've had itchy nips too. Love a good scratch when the bra comes off!!!

beller · 14/09/2007 12:05

Well if we all have them, then it must be normal ? NIpples have gone much darker and bigger too !

Neuro · 14/09/2007 12:08

my nips are huge!!!!!! they scare me

beller · 14/09/2007 12:16

hahah me too Neuro...they have always been quite small...the growth is indeed scary and shocking!

mixedmama · 14/09/2007 12:29

MotherofZ - did you get shortlisted for that job????

Neuro · 14/09/2007 12:37

On the subject of norks - i said other day on here or maybe on DEc thread that i'd bought some bras, and have come to conclusion that the maternity ones are totallly crap. But the sports bra is ace. Looks more like bandaging but def feel supported now. Am surprised how even small ones like mine need definitely hoiking up!

mixedmama · 14/09/2007 12:38

I can never remember where i posted anything either.

Neuro · 14/09/2007 12:38

Meant to say from M and S.

Molly65 · 14/09/2007 12:43

Going back to films, I recommend Atonement. Serious but worth it. Very good acting and plot. My DH has read the book and thinks that the film is true to it.

I was feeling a bit down and on the lonely side last night and woke up at 2am and ate 2/3 carton of hagen dazs. In fact I probably eat and drink a lot of the wrong things as I love Darjeeling tea and quite regularly have 1/4 glass of red wine. (A tipple.) I do try to have plenty of fruit and veg and fish and things as well.

I am trying to sort out some help for the nighttime in Jan. But the agencies don't bother to ring me back. Perhaps it's too far into the future for them to think about.

I had never fed a baby before yesterday when I held and fed my nephew for nearly an hour. He is so gorgeous and at 7 weeks he really seems to communicate with you when you talk to him.

Sorry not able to join in especially with subjects discussed. But I follow the thread (until it goes out of control) and never quite know when to offer any comments.

MotherofZ · 14/09/2007 12:47

MM - that's nice of you to remember. Closing date was 11th - so am assuming it will take about a week (?) to short list.
Taking it one stage at a time....

MotherofZ · 14/09/2007 12:49

oh and by the way my Greggs obsession is over...onto SUBWAYS!

OP posts:
mixedmama · 14/09/2007 12:52

My Dh would never go and see Atonement. I cannot stand Keira Knightley with a passion, she drives me up the wall... could only manage POTC because of Johnny Depp. Might give the book a go tho.

Nice to see you are trying something new MotherofZ

MrsMcJnr · 14/09/2007 12:59

Hey MrsBiscuit oh dear, hope your weekend is better than expected!

BeckyAu ? my Mum always put bags over the handles of our buggies but apparently that?s a big no no now! Re doing your own conveyancing, maybe Scotland is different but even as a solicitor, I wouldn?t trust myself to note the title properly if I was buying, I?d want a specialist to make sure my title was fine ? that said, I am a total pain about anything else, meddling here there and everywhere! your experience has been rotten ? complain and see if you can get free wills out of it or something Fab news about the exchange ? great news!!! hope the move goes well!!

Hey Neuro

Mixedmama ? thanks for the link to the birth plan I?ll check it out with what you say in mind.

Awen ? I?m with you, I don?t feel very supported in the one soft bra I have bought ? I was a 32E pre-pg and 34G last measurement but I really think I?m a 36 now and that I need a bigger cup too ? wonder how much bigger I?ll get and what size of nursing bra I should get. My boobs were acting strangely yesterday actually, really sore with sharp pains in the nipples and a little bit of gunk (sorry if TMI ) but dry stuff really, not wet. That?s good about DP?s work mobile for Japan I also understand the jeans issue, I am so fed up of my sister?s under the bump ones. I saw Littlewoods had over the bump ones but they are sold out at the mo The bumps I saw at Aqua natal were way bigger than mine, I felt like a fraud being there ? it was fab though!

Gingeme when I was talking about being strapped down, I meant more by the constant monitoring rather than strapping to keep you down as Awen said but I do know of friends in Spain who were actually strapped down I remember clearly that a girl in the year above me at school in Spain got pregnant age 15 and was made to have the baby in a nunnery by her Mum, they gave her a vertical C section as a punishment! That?s interesting about the water speeding your contractions up. I know what you mean about the lovely experience of swimming, I was at Aqua natal on Weds night and it was fab beanie was tired yesterday I think, quite quiet, hope all is ok That MW you had sounded horrible with DS2, doula?s told me that if we get one like that, DH will be sent to ask for someone else ? hope we have the courage to do that if that?s the case! what?s a scuttle thread?!

Hey Beller no pattern to the kicks here though it did kick just where I was injecting this morning ? that might start to make it tricky! Post a pic for us of the Nemo theme? I?d love to see it! Bravissimo tomorrow morning for bras then buggy shopping (why oh why do I have to like the Bugaboo Chameleon?! ) and then suit shopping for DH for his new job

MotherofZ ? I?ve never had a Krispy Kream, have I really not lived? I know what you mean about the crying in the birthing programmes. Bourne Ultimatum is fab

Hey Ladylush lovely to see you how are you hon? So glad to hear that nothing was found at that scan, that has got to be a massive relief That?s a long wait for the chromosome results, I think that the clotting ones took about 6 weeks for me. Everything crossed for you hon, let us know how you get on xx

Congratulations Sabinar glad it all went well, that?s 6 boys and 4 girls so far on this thread that we know about. LOL at penis thought ? I did wonder if some male hormones made me watch the end of the France ? Scotland game the other night but I hadn?t thought of that ? giggle!

Barristermum wave at me from where you are in Scotland enjoy the wedding.

Naetha hey, missed you glad you had a lovely holiday. Your boss sounds like a real jerk monitoring you like that; clearly he doesn?t have enough work to do

so wish I could come to the meet up take photos and post them for us?

Nicky6 ? sorry to hear about the nursery/stuffy row rolling on, I?d have no patience with football stuff ? to storage I?d say just a thought could your bra be too tight? I get pains in my upper back if mine are. Formes has great sales too; I got two lovely outfits in the last sale for 50% off.

gingeme · 14/09/2007 13:03

Morning ladies. Just got back from playgroup and my friend has given me a bag of baby clothes that her baby boy has grown out of and most of them my lo used to wear. It only seems like five minutes ago

Last film I saw at the cinema was Transformers with my two older ds's. It was fantatsic. Action packed all the way through.
Would like to see aft boy run looks very funny. I saw Hot Fuzz on dvd and that was realy funny too
We are going to my parents tommorrow till Tuesday. Taking ds3 to the Deal castle. He seems to be interested in kings and queens and castles all of a sudden.
Well off to finnish the drying so I can get some packing done.
Have a good weekend all.

gingeme · 14/09/2007 13:08

No idea Mrsmcjnr just on my way over to see what its all about.

MotherofZ · 14/09/2007 13:13

OP posts:
Angechica · 14/09/2007 13:24

Ta ladies. not just me then.

My nipples are sort of multicoloured / piebald! whereas they were evenly coloured before

beller · 14/09/2007 13:44

Mrsmcjnr - Will try this weekend..computer wasnt waorking at home earlier in the week
Gingeme - Enjoy the castle!

Also....anyone suffering with a bad back? Mine started last night and is really stiff and sore today..right in the lower back? Although my weekly update on me and babybel says that the uterus is the size of a football now and maybe pressing on the back....cant wait to get home and have a soak in the bath!

Naetha · 14/09/2007 14:02

Hello all

My boobs have definitely changed to say the least - started off with the odd freckle here and there, and now the areolas are completely brown, and the nipples are huge! Not to mention still leaking at night

Fairly quiet this weekend, but then its all go go go!

Got a MW appt on weds, company day out all day Thurs (wild west theme - I'm worried!!) then our softball league ball on the Sat night, and then me, DH and two friends are going to a geeky games-day at Birmingham NEC on the Sunday.

Most of it should be fine, except I have nothing to wear to the ball! Any ideas? Should I go for a dress (I rarely wear dresses as my legs are terrible - chubby knees, chunky calves and thunder thighs!) or smart trousers and nice top? The trousers and top idea is more appealing at the moment!

Hopefully going to see run fat boy run this weekend - I LOVE Simon Pegg - his stuff in Spaced was definitely the best

Angechica · 14/09/2007 14:07

I used to live in Crouch End and saw Simon Pegg all the time on the Tube.

I bet he doesn't take the tube now!

He was a warm up guy or doing stand up at a lot of comedy stuff I used to go to when I lived in London.

Talking of celeb spotting I was in that Pizza Express in Soho once and saw Bobby Gillespie (Primal Scream) - they used to be one of my fave bands so I was v excited!
