September 2020 babies?

EssJayyCee · 04/01/2020 21:32

I'd like to share my journey with some moms-to-be with a similar due date.

I think I'm due around 9th September 2020 but I've had no scans yet.

This will be my first baby after TTC for 17 months! With very irregular cycles. I was in the process of fertility appointments- my next one was to get medication to help so I feel very lucky!

I think I am around 4weeks+3 but I am taking a CB Digital in the morning to see what that says.

Looking forward to chatting to some of you lovely ladies!

Hi @SavanahXx I’m exactly 5 weeks and 3 days today! And am due 6th September Too from my calculations! How crazy! Congratulations, this is my first pregnancy and am so so excited! Like you say taking every day as it comes! Have you been docs yet?

Elle81 · 09/01/2020 12:36

Hi everyone, would you mind if I join you as wrll 😊 I am 5 weeks and 3 days, due around the 8th September. I have a DD who is 8 and we are all super excited! I don't have any symptoms apart from being a bit bloated and need to go to the toilet quite often. With the DD it was a nightmare from day one and I was completely exhausted all the time.

SavanahXx · 09/01/2020 12:43

Congratulations to you all!! @Parkmorg8 it's crazy isnt it! I haven't seen a doctor yet, I rang today and they told me to ring at 8am tomorrow and then I can be seen at some point tomorrow. Will hopefully get my bloods done and get a referral to the epu for an early reassurance Scan. I'm going to try and sort out my midwife appointment too tomorrow. I'm lucky in the face that midwives are also based at my doctors. So it's fairly straightforward for me. I hope you're all enjoying your pregnancies! 😆😆

Louisg · 09/01/2020 14:36

My hcg levels on Wednesday were only 65!! Seems so low fingers crossed it has doubled or more on my blood test tomorrowShock

Congrats to everyone!!!Thanks so happy to hear of all these babies!!

SavanahXx · 09/01/2020 14:39

Got my fingers crossed for you @Louisg, I'm sure everything will be fine 😄😄

Parkmorg8 · 09/01/2020 17:11

@Elle81 I am exactly the same with just bloating and needing a pee all the time 😂 it’s actually tiring getting up and down all the time with it haha! @SavanahXx same I got an appointment on the 16th earliest they could do!

Sulkypatsy · 09/01/2020 18:20

Hi ladies, I just wanted to float a suggestion since we'll all hopefully be in contact for at least the next eight months or so.

Maybe we could each put a short bit of info about ourselves and how were experiencing pregnancy so far, and whatever else people would like to add. Just sort of a little getting to know each other post and of course only whatever you are personally comfortable with, not asking anyone to share if they'd rather not.

I'm 28, this is baby #1 for me and partner. We've told my parents and his brother so far. And we'll probably tell everyone else once we get to hear the heartbeat on early scan.

Will be going for an early reassurance scan about 7 1/2 weeks, but I'm very scared to book it. Also planning on having harmony testing.

So far my symptoms have been, hunger, rumbling tummy every three-ish hours. Needing to pee more often, sore boobs and nipples and headaches. On the good side, my skin looks great which I'm really enjoying

I've also still been testing like a maniac, I can't help myself, I need to see the lines getting darker. I'm really hoping the anxiety gets better over time

Parkmorg8 · 09/01/2020 18:56

@Sulkypatsy great idea! I’m happy to share! I’m 24 and this is our first baby too! We planned to start trying in December and wam bam thank you mam here I am 5 weeks preggo 😂🙈 I am an early years teacher who works 42 hours a week and am already feeling exhausted, with lots of bloating and like you guys lots of peeing! We’ve told close family but no one else. Thinking of telling my employer at around 8 weeks as I will then be able to get the time off for scans and appointments as in my job we always have to stick to ratios so work need to know about appointments as far in advance as poss! So so ecstatic and can’t quite believe that this is happening still!? Is that normal haha! Can’t wait to hear about everyone 😇

@Sulkypatsy great idea. I'm 38 and work in an accounts office 38 hrs a week, This is pregnancy #3 however pregnancy #2 ended in MMC in November @ 5-6 wks and didn't find out until 13 wks 😔 I have DD who is almost 5 and would love to give her a sibling So I'm nervous and anxious but excited with this time. I'm 4+5 today, symptoms are sensitive boobs and bit of bloating, few little sharp abdominal pains every now and then but that's about it x

Mcgootwo · 09/01/2020 19:18

The MMC was a loss of twins 😔 nearly hoping that this time it's just the one as hopefully more chance of survival and less complications, maybe that's just in my head ?

Here's hoping for an exciting few months ladies x

Louisg · 09/01/2020 19:40

So nice to hear more about everyone!

I'm 22 and this will be my third pregnancy. My first ended in a now two year old. Unfortunately the second ended in early miscarriage on Dec 2nd. This pregnancy caught on my first cycle afterwards so it would make me no more than 5 weeks pregnant this time Grin I came here looking for support as I'm very anxious after last time.

I work 3 days a week but study the days I'm off so I'm very tired Blush I will have a scan in 2-3 weeks providing everything goes okay for more reassurance before a 12 week scan

Louisg · 09/01/2020 19:42

P.S just like our first pregnancy we won't be telling anyone till the 12 week dating scan Blush

EssJayyCee · 09/01/2020 19:47

Hi everyone!
Sorry I have been pretty absent since starting this thread. I've just been feeling really anxious about various things!

Great idea @Sulkypatsy

I am 27, currently 5weeks+1 with baby #1.
We haven't told anyone yet. We are telling family at 8 weeks and everyone else after our 12 week scan!

I want an early reassurance scan but they are so expensive in my area so we can't really afford to get it done unfortunately!

The only symptoms I have had are quite mild.... a small amount of cramping, a few pinches here and there and tender to touch boobs/nipples. I think I am peeing a bit more often but I pee'd quite alot before anyway because I drink alot of water. I've noticed the last couple of days I have had a pretty good toilet schedule of 9, 11.30, 2, and 4 😂
I also seem to be getting tired around 2.30/3 but I am not sure if that's just because it is the first week back at work after christmas!

I want more symptoms so I can feel pregnant more so. Because right now I don't feel it!

I have also been a testing maniac and I have tested every day since I found out last monday! I was getting worried because the lines didn't seem to be getting darker but this morning I had a very dark line that came up well before the time was up so that reassured me alot!

Looking forward to hearing more about you all!
I will try and keep up as best as I can but i get lost in big threads!!

Oh wow, it's amazing to hear about you all and your journeys in getting here.

I'm sorry to hear about the tough parts that some ladies have shared, you're amazing and brave. I'm so hoping that we can all take comfort in sharing our experiences with each other, for me ttc felt very lonely for a long time, I really want pregnancy to feel different. It's so interesting that there's so much variation in telling people about the pregnancies, I'm feeling a bit nervous that we've shared but also it's nice to hear that people we love are happy for us.

I can't wait to see everyone's progress as the year goes on.

SavanahXx · 09/01/2020 20:34

Hi everyone, I'm 20, this is my 5th pregnancy. (I know, sounds so bad 😫) my first pregnancy ended in a mmc, baby passed at 11+6 and I found out at my 12 (13) week scan. I had surgical management because I didn't feel emotionally strong enough to miscarry naturally. My second pregnancy, again was a mmc. I started spotting at 10 weeks and when I went for a scan, was told my baby hadn't developed at all, was told i could have another d+c in two weeks after another scan, but could possible miscarry before that. I did. I miscarried 3 days before my second scan. When I went for my scan to see if everything had passed, it hadn't, was then given medical management and told the remaining tissue would pass in 24 hours. A week later I was rushed to hospital and ended up with sepsis and nearly dying because it had failed. I had another lot of medical management aswell as on antibiotics for a few weeks. It was a very traumatic experience. I then fell pregnant with my beautiful DD who is nearly 13 month old. Two months ago I had a miscarriage but didn't know I was pregnant because DD is breastfed and it stopped my periods. I was devastated. Because I would have loved that baby, for my DD to have a sibling and to grow our family. I'm not currently 5+4 and as anxious as ever. I hope everything goes smoothly, because this baby is beyond wanted.

I feel nauseous most days, have bad stomach cramps and sharp spasms, really bad lower back ache and god im eating like a pig! I never seem to be full 😂 im struggling to sleep at night which is a pain because im drained all throughout the day 😫.

I wish everyone luck with their pregnancies. Its going to be so lovely sharing this experience with others going though the same 😄💕

SavanahXx · 09/01/2020 20:37

I'm now* 😂😂 it would be weird if I was not 5+4 yet lurking on this thread 😂😂

FingersCrossedXXX · 09/01/2020 20:54

Hi Ladies!

I'm 29, 30 in Feb! Pregnant with our first child and think I am around 5 weeks pregnant. I am a bit confused about when exactly I conceived as seemed to have a shorter cycle this month so could be a little further along but will have to wait and see!

I haven't really had any symptoms except sore boobs which are worse today and light cramps. Started with just sore nibbles but the whole boob feels sore now to touch.

Don't have any dates booked in yet for appointments or scans but hoping to see the doctor tomorrow who can refer me to midwife...I'm not sure how long that will take. Very excited and don't think it will feel real until we have a scan though!

I've told my mom and dad, as well as my best friends and plan to tell my sister on the weekend. They are all people I would want support from if anything went wrong. I'm a little nervous about telling them but I am so impatient and too excited to keep it in. Plus some of my friends are usually the crowd I'd go for weekend drinks with so they'd know something was up!

I'm looking forward to having somewhere to chat to other ladies in the same situation and to watch us all progress!

UrsulaSings · 09/01/2020 23:44

Hi everyone my name is Meg and I'm 31 in a few weeks. This is my second pregnancy but will be my first child. The first one sadly ended prematurely. We have told my partners mum, my mum and dad and a couple of friends. Planning on keeping it quiet until 12 week scan.

Apparently in my area you can only see the midwife when you're 8 weeks so havent been able to book in with anyone yet!

Was thinking of having an early scan and it's only £40, but probably will just wait for the 12 week one.

I have been looking at the other thread called september 2020 but I think I prefer this one to be honest as it's a bit smaller and not as many people posting.

I have sore boobs, feel v tired but that could be just because I'm sleeping terribly at the moment, have been more hungry but tbh I think that might just be a layover from eating more at christmas. Went back to work today and back on the healthy eating as in more of a routine!

Apparently symptoms quite often dont really start until the 6th week? Last time i had horrendous acid reflux so I'm hoping its not as bad as that this time!

I have been a mixture of super excited, not really feeling like it's real, anxious about things going wrong, and anxious about not having saved enough/not being prepared!

I get a bit lost in threads tbh as I cant keep track of who everyone is, but will hopefully come to recognise you all!

UrsulaSings · 09/01/2020 23:50

Oh and I forgot to say I'm 5 weeks, due 10th Sept according to NHS calculator for date of last period

Stephi89 · 10/01/2020 03:49

Hey I'm 30 and this is my first pregnancy and I am terrified!! I am currently a radiography student and in the middle of exams so that's been stressful. I need to speak to the uni as soon as I go back about placement and minimising radiation risk, as it's obviously a big concern.

It's currently 3.45am here, I've been awake since 3 after going to bed at 9pm and taking over 2 hours to fall asleep even though I'm exhausted. Insomnia seems to be my main symptom, along with some mild cramping.

Is anybody else on the thread from Scotland?

Today I am 14DPO, officially missing my period as well (hopefully) but I just can't shake the feeling something could go wrong.

I did a wee internet cheapie about a half hour ago and there's a visible line, but I can't tell if it's darkened any compared to a couple days ago, or if it is dark enough for 14DPO. What do you guys think?

Chanel05 · 10/01/2020 08:04

Hello :) I'm 30 and this is my second pregnancy. I fell pregnant in February last year after 8 months of trying and I had a mmc which resulted in surgical management at 12 weeks. It's been a very traumatic 8 months and the mmc left me profoundly effected by it. However, I had a Christmas miracle and conceived my rainbow baby on Christmas Day!

I'm currently 4+2 and due on 16th September. I'm going to have an early scan, I had these in my previous pregnancy. One at 6 weeks where I'd seen a heartbeat and then one at 8+5 where the mmc was diagnosed. I'm utterly terrified of having a scan again but I'm trying my best to enjoy every second of my pregnancy as I've been longing for it.

The only symptoms I have are a missed period, my boobs are a little bit sore and I'm just really tired in the evenings and have been falling asleep at 8.30pm the last four nights.

Louisg · 10/01/2020 08:05

@Stephi89 insomnia is the worst right now. I'm getting in bed between 7-8pm and don't sleep till last 1!! Last night was my first good sleep in over a week Shock it looks like a good line to me!

UrsulaSings · 10/01/2020 09:13

@Stephi89 that definitely looks like a line to me! And that's the same test I used as I recognise it, and yesterday had a v strong line within 30 seconds on a different test. If theres a line theres a line, no matter how feint it is.

I'm realllllly struggling with insomnia. Not getting to sleep until 2am then getting up for work Sad

Elle81 · 10/01/2020 10:37

Good morning :)
This is my second pregnancy (DD is 8) and I will be 39 next week which scares me a bit, but I had such a traumatic birth with DD that I couldn't even start to imagine going through the same ever again for quite some time 😣 apart from being slightly bloated and running to the toilet every 30 min I am absolutely fine and feel great so far which is totally different from what I've experienced with DD, I suppose every pregnancy is different 🙂

Have you stopped drinking coffee altogether? 🤔
have a great day everyone x
