September 2020 babies?

I'd like to share my journey with some moms-to-be with a similar due date.

I think I'm due around 9th September 2020 but I've had no scans yet.

This will be my first baby after TTC for 17 months! With very irregular cycles. I was in the process of fertility appointments- my next one was to get medication to help so I feel very lucky!

I think I am around 4weeks+3 but I am taking a CB Digital in the morning to see what that says.

Looking forward to chatting to some of you lovely ladies!

I got my BFP on new year's day, I think I'm due around 10th Sept. First pregnancy, si very nervous, feel like I'm just waiting for something to go wrong!

DuckyK · 06/01/2020 12:37

Hi everyone,

temogemo · 06/01/2020 12:37

I got my BFP on New Years Day too! This will be my 2nd. I have a wonderful DD who will be almost 5 when baby is due.
I feel so nervous though about things going okay that I've not enjoyed it yet

SavanahXx · 06/01/2020 12:52

Congratulations to you all 😊😊!!
@temogemo what a way to start the new year, unbelievable isn't it 😀 and im the exact same as you, im too anxious to enjoy it just yet.

FingersCrossedXXX · 06/01/2020 17:23

Hi All!

Please could I join? Found out on Saturday that I'm pregnant! Very happy and excited but a little anxious as still early days!

Think I'd be due around the 18th September!

Had to register at my local doctors this morning and should be able to make appointments by Friday so will call then so they can arrange an appointment with the midwife.

No symptoms really yet, just a bit tired!

FingersCrossedXXX · 06/01/2020 17:39

@DuckyK Did you go to the doctor's? What have they said?

SavanahXx · 06/01/2020 18:27

@DuckyK I hope everything is ok, ask your doctor to get your bloods done to check your hcg is rising as it should and have them make a referral to your local EPU for a scan.

Fwiw I have seen lots of threads where people have had spotting and they have been told it can be normal. I hope everything turns out ok. Got my fingers crossed for you Flowers

Louisg · 07/01/2020 00:14

This morning I got my BFP - big faint positive @SavanahXx I too had a MC 6 weeks ago and have been have cramps for two weeks! Anxious but hopeful for a miracle.

According to an online calculator my due date will be September 7th Thanks

SavanahXx · 07/01/2020 12:05

Congratulations @Louisg such a scary time isn't it 😫 I'm just taking it a day at a time. I have been cramping too. Its hard to be optimistic until I know for sure that everything is ok 😥 your due date is a day after mine!

Louisg · 07/01/2020 12:13

@SavanahXx every twinge I'm running to the toilet to check! Got a doctors appointment tomorrow to discuss the cramps (more so they can reassure me to my face).

If everything goes well I think I will pay for a private early scan at around 8 weeks.

I also have a dopler from my first pregnancy which I'm sure I will use every day once I get further along- I know some people are against using them but it was very handy as I didn't feel my first baby move at all!

Hopefully we can celebrate new babies together GrinThanks

Mcgootwo · 07/01/2020 15:37

Hey everyone, I’m new here! Congratulations to u all Smile I got a Bfp on New Year’s Eve.... so delighted but so scared also.... had a missed miscarriage & d&c on 6th November and now I think I’m 4wks+3days Blush Trying to stay positive but it’s so scary the thought of something going wrong. Have a little girl who’s 6 so I’m dying to give her a sibling.

Have a doc appointment 2moro and I am gonna request if at all possible for an early scan as I only found out about mmc last time at 13 wk scan and they think baby passed around 5-6 weeks Sad I would really love early scans or testing of some sort this time round... fingers crossed xox

Mcgootwo · 07/01/2020 15:41

Should also say... think im due 12th September

SavanahXx · 07/01/2020 19:48

@Louisg in the exact same!! I rang the doctor's yesterday, but the female doctor is off sick until Thursday -.- the male ones dont tend to give a shit. I had a doctor the other month mess me about whilst I was having my miscarriage, I asked him for a referral to the epu to check there was no left over tissue because that happened last time and I nearly died of sepsis :[ so im hoping I can get in the end of this week or the start of next to have my bloods done and get a referral to the epu for an early reassurance Scan, why don't you do the same? At least that way, you can get full reassurance. It's horrible the first 12 weeks 😥 i took another test today and the line has got darker, so i guess that's a good sign! And you never know. Our babies could even be born on the same day 😊

Congratulations @Mcgootwo I hope you get the tests that you want! And I hope your pregnancy is going smoothly

Chanel05 · 07/01/2020 19:56

Hello all :) I'm due 16th September as I got my bfp on Saturday. I self-referred to the midwife yesterday and they called me today. So excited!

NameChange30 · 07/01/2020 19:58

Congratulations everyone! Lots of us on the September 2020 thread over in antenatal clubs - come join us: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/antenatal_clubs/3780862-September-2020

FingersCrossedXXX · 07/01/2020 20:01

@chanel05 How did you find out if you could be self-referred?

Has anyone else got their first appointment booked in?

Louisg · 07/01/2020 20:13

Congrats everyone!!

@SavanahXx yes I hear you about doctors. Tomorrow I am seeing a doctor that I complained about two months ago!Confused I’m going to stress how much I am STRESSED and hopefully I will get an early scan. I’m also going to do a digital weeks test tomorrow morning And another line test to see if its got any darker. So glad to hear yours has!Grin

So many babies to be born with each other Grin

Louisg · 07/01/2020 20:14

@FingersCrossedXXX my doctor laughed at me when I booked an appointment with him! He said no one sees the doctor anymore just rings the midwife first

FingersCrossedXXX · 07/01/2020 20:21

@LouisG good to know! I'll get googling then to find out who my local midwife is!

It doesn't feel real yet!

SavanahXx · 07/01/2020 20:24

@Louisg at least he won't want to annoy you, won't be wanting anymore complaints 😉 ask for your bloods done too, I was told I needed to see the doctor to give the ok for the nurse to do it, and they will make sure you hcg is rising as it should be, something for the mean time before a scan 😊 your epu should definitely give you an early scan given previous loss. Fingers crossed that you get it soon 😆

FingersCrossedXXX · 07/01/2020 20:29

So just had a look and they don't do self-referral in my area so I'll call the doctors on Friday once I should be registered to see if they can refer me.

Chanel05 · 07/01/2020 20:31

@FingersCrossedXXX I just filled out a form on the maternity page on my local hospital website.

Louisg · 07/01/2020 21:15

@SavanahXx Thankyou for the advice I never thought to ask for so much Grin.

I don’t think it will feel real till a baby is here!!! Fingers crossed for us all ---I don’t have enough fingers - !

SavanahXx · 07/01/2020 21:58

@Louisg you're entitled to ask for that much because of previous loss. A pregnant woman needs to be stress free so if blood tests and early scans mean you're stress free, thats what they will do.

I know what you mean. When I was 40 weeks with my DD, I was still anxious until she was in my arms, but then a whole new anxious chapter starts 😂 babies are full of a life of worrying, but it's so worthwhile 😊😊🤗
