September 2020 babies?

I'd like to share my journey with some moms-to-be with a similar due date.

I think I'm due around 9th September 2020 but I've had no scans yet.

This will be my first baby after TTC for 17 months! With very irregular cycles. I was in the process of fertility appointments- my next one was to get medication to help so I feel very lucky!

I think I am around 4weeks+3 but I am taking a CB Digital in the morning to see what that says.

Looking forward to chatting to some of you lovely ladies!

Hi everyone I’m due on 31st August with my first baby so very anxious and keen to find out everything’s ok! Iv got an early scan booked privately for 19th jan which would make me 7+3 has anyone else had an early scan before not sure what to expect! Also I have no pregnancy symptoms my boobs were a bit saw last week but that’s disappeared now and it’s making me worry

Louisg · 08/01/2020 09:38

@megan81088 I had an early scan and it was basically a black dot with a flashing white light which was the heart beat.

I too have lost my symptoms which is worrying but you can't have sore boobs all 9 months!

megan81088 · 08/01/2020 09:50

How far gone were you when you had your early scan? I don’t know why but iv convinced myself I’m going to get there and they won’t be able to find a heartbeat or there will be nothing there it’s driving me mad! I think the lack of symptoms really aren’t helping it’s like it’s not real x

Louisg · 08/01/2020 10:07

@megan81088 I was around 6 weeks so you should be able to see more Smile

I'll let you know in about 15 minutes if loss of symptoms is normal, currently sat in docs waiting room Grin

megan81088 · 08/01/2020 10:12

Ahhh brilliant thank you!

SavanahXx · 08/01/2020 10:48

@Louisg I hope your doctor's appointment goes well today 😆😆

Mcgootwo · 08/01/2020 12:20

Hey thanks for the congrats... I'm just out of docs and all is good so far Grin I'm 4+4 today. Due date 12th September. Doc is sending request for early scan now so I will b waiting hard for that. I have a DD who is 5 soon and had MMC /d&c of twins on 6th November so I'm soooo nervous 😬

Fingers crossed for a positive time this time 🤞🏽🙏🏼

I've sensitive boobs & a little discomfort in lower stomach but that's about it so far x

Mcgootwo · 08/01/2020 12:21

@louisg hope all goes good today 🤞🏽

megan81088 · 08/01/2020 13:16

How did your appointment go?

Louisg · 08/01/2020 13:23

Thanks everyone!!! All went

Louisg · 08/01/2020 13:26

All went okay. Had a blood test to ensure HGC is rising okay. Stomach cramps is normal even though I've had them for 3 weeks.

Told her my sore boobs had gone and she didn't bat an eyelid so she wasn't worried.

She said there was no point having a scan of HGC is rising Sad I will find out blood results on Monday and push again for a scan

Dhwel1 · 08/01/2020 14:38

@Louisg glad your dr appointment went well, if your still struggling for an early scan try seeing a diff doctor, they may refer you to EPU I’m currently awaiting out registration at our new Drs so I can push for an early scan as has problems with last pregnancy and didn’t end well 👎🏼

Or like others have mentioned a private scan is always a way to see bubba! Usually just a blob, but very cute blob with a little flicker as heartbeat :) x

Louisg · 08/01/2020 14:46

Yes if they don't give me one I will 100% book a private scan Grin

SavanahXx · 08/01/2020 18:00

I'm so glad your doctor's appointment went well @Louisg and @Mcgootwo im going to ring the doctor's back tomorrow and hopefully get an appointment for bloods and a referral to epu for an early scan. I'm so anxious, but trying to enjoy what I can about the pregnancy, id love for my dd to have a little brother or sister! It's going to be a handful because dd is only 12 months. I feel so bloody tired all of the time 😫 my nausea hasn't been bad for the past 2 days, but still getting cramps, so i can't help but worry

megan81088 · 08/01/2020 18:11

Is anyone finding they have no symptoms at all yet?!

Louisg · 08/01/2020 18:21

@SavanahXx even though the doctors said the cramps could be normal I'm still very worried about them. Sometimes they feel like a period cramp and then other time I feel it down belowConfused I'm that tired I feel like going to bed now

Mcgootwo · 08/01/2020 18:31

@SavanahXx I'm the same with wanting a sibling for my DD as she is 5 now soon and I know she'd love a brother or sister! It's such a scary time isn't it... I've had no sickness, just a little tiredness and sore boobs but I never had a lot of symptoms last time either. @Louisg like u I have a bit of lower cramping but hoping that's normal HmmConfused

Sulkypatsy · 08/01/2020 18:31

Hi to all the new ladies who've joined, and congratulations.
I'm on a high today, clearblue digital has progressed to 2-3 weeks and my referral to the maternity hospital has been sent. Still so surreal though. How's everyone doing?

Louisg · 08/01/2020 18:41

When I was pregnant with my son I had no symptoms... I only found out I was pregnant by chance

@Mcgootwo fingers crossed!!!

@Sulkypatsy woo congrats!!!! I'm going to take a weeks indicator at the weekend I'm praying for that 2-3 weeks Grin

SavanahXx · 08/01/2020 18:41

@Louisg that's what my pains are like, I get some sharp stabbing like pains too. It's horrible, noticed quite abit of pain in my back too.

@Mcgootwo it's so scary! I've been feeling the painful boobs! Dd is still breastfed and I dread feeding her, it hurts far too much, luckily she's on normal milk too and only feeds for comfort now. I can't wait till she has a sibling, someone to play with. She'd love it.

Mcgootwo · 08/01/2020 21:45

@Louisg oh god I feel ur pain trying to breastfeed, mine be sore on and off, but think I'm being overly cautious checking all the time and all.... it's the fear and panic I think 🙄 can't help it!

Mcgootwo · 08/01/2020 21:46

Sorry mixed up messages bout breastfeeding@Louisg meant for @SavanahXx 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣

Louisg · 08/01/2020 22:24

@SavanahXx yep my lower back is on fire!! Especially after picking up all day after a 2yr old

SavanahXx · 08/01/2020 23:40

@Mcgootwo it's horrible breastfeeding with painful nipples haha. DD is at her biting phase too which makes it 1000 times worse 😥 i feel rather selfish at times too, because DD will only feed lay across my belly, so I'm forever trying to keep her off my belly as much as possible, while trying to keep her comfy, I wish she'd just feed in the kind of 'rugby ball position' but she has non of it. I haven't seen a midwife yet so I have no information at all about breastfeeding while pregnant and just feel massively guilty at all times 😫.

@Louisg I feel your pain! Little ones love to leave a trail of mess. Im sure they know what they're doing haha! If I tell my DD not to drag all of her toys out at once, or try to get her to stop smacking things into the tv, she just looks at me and laughs and makes a game of it, and starts running off knowing I'm getting up to stop her 😂😂 it's making me ever so tired!!

Hows everyone doing so far? Is anybody else finding that they are drained all through the day, but once it gets to night time, is suddenly wide awake 🤔

Stephi89 · 09/01/2020 10:46

Hey everyone, hope I'm okay to join?

I got my BFP on Tuesday and if I'm going by LMP, I'm 3+6 today! Due date is currently September 18th but that may change.

Not really 100% sure what to do now, do I call my GP, or do I leave it a little longer? Currently waiting on my husband getting a digital test that tells me in words so I don't need to stare at lines😂
