I've searched for due date thread and couldn't find one so thought I would start a new one!

I'm 4+6 and due at the very beginning of September. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old so my hands are going to be very full lol!

@HugeAgeGap I too have a CB weeks indicator!!!
I’m 5w 1d today! I plan to use it Monday, same day as my gp blood hcg. It’ll be interesting to see if the results correlate!!

ShiningStarz · 11/01/2020 23:09

@Sunshinexx95 I’m The same!! I’m eating loads which is making my bloatedness so bad! Couldn’t get into jeans! Think I need to go back to liquid breakfast (smoothie) and liquid lunch (soup) as I think I was feeling better doing that. 😩

ShiningStarz · 11/01/2020 23:12

Congrats @Jane131 our EDD is the same!!

Crazymummyto3 · 11/01/2020 23:14

I'm crazily hungry too, other than that I don't feel any different! With my last pregnancy I felt rough pretty much all day from around 7 weeks until 11 weeks

HugeAgeGap · 12/01/2020 07:16

@ShiningStarz good plan. I'm gonna do Tuesday as it'll be almost half way through the week and hoping it'll be 3+!

I've not phoned GP etc yet, gonna hang on for a few weeks first x

ShiningStarz · 12/01/2020 08:02

Morning @HugeAgeGap I tested this morning on CB digital. I’m 5W 2D today and I think 23 dpo.
I’m looking forward to getting the gp hcg tomorrow. I need to see that high number!

HugeAgeGap · 12/01/2020 10:28

@ShiningStarz ah brilliant!! I'm very nervous wont get the 3+ so leaving it to the point if it doesn't come up I know something isn't progressing, rather than doing it to early and still not being sure on dates! Good luck with the blood numbers from the GP. The fact the minimum threshold to bring it up has to be in the 2000s is very good that u hit that! x

ShiningStarz · 12/01/2020 12:08

Thanks &@HugeAgeGap iv read mixed reviews about the CB digital test. I only did it because I already bought it. To be honest it doesn’t stop the worry!! So your right, don’t bother doing it and stressing yourself out.

Kangaroo77 · 12/01/2020 13:48

Hi all, new to this forum but found out Xmas day I’m pregnant with my 3rd, due 3rd September. Different dad to my other two girls but we’re very much a family and very excited. I’ve booked harmony testing at 11 weeks as I’m 42 and have had a previous trisomy (13, pateau syndrome). It’s expensive but I know the NHS will based my odds mostly on my age which will freak me out anyway. I currently work full time and plan a relatively short maternity which is also freaking me out. Lol. Apart from all that it’s my fiancé’s first child so it’s really exciting. I fell pregnant much faster than I thought so now I have to cancel my booked holiday and move our wedding currently planned this year. Congratulations to everyone. Looking forward to sharing the journey with you. I’m particularly interested in speaking to mums who juggle the career thing with 3 xxxx

Samk79 · 12/01/2020 14:15

@Kangaroo77 congratulations. I also have two older children from my previous marriage who are 17 and 12. I fell pg last jan but it ended in a loss. This is my husbands first.
Like you I'm apprehensive about juggling work etc. I've taken a new job as a secondment which is over 5 days. How old are your other two?

TtcanotherG · 12/01/2020 14:18

5+4 today feeling whatever minor symptoms I had are disappearing.. hate this first tri. I had mmc is oct so alittle bit freaking out today. I have been so positive until today. I'm hoping its just one off those days and maybe tomorrow will be back to business.

Kangaroo77 · 12/01/2020 14:24

@Samk79 hello 😊. My daughters are 4 and 6 and they live 60/40 with me. I'm hoping they'll be thrilled but don't tell them until after (hopefully) successful harmony test. Sorry to hear about your loss, it's always a worry but I'm trying to remain positive for now. I had to terminate my first pregnancy at 18 weeks following trisomy 13 confirmation. It was a dark time so the risks feel very real now, but there's every chance it will be find too.

What are your current thoughts about maternity and returning to work. I find this bit consumes most of thoughts at the mo, how long to take off, what is realistic and fair to my baby but also ties in with finances. Oh that and where the baby will live (2 beds for kids and 2 very strong willed daughters claiming their own space 😂). Xxxx

Kangaroo77 · 12/01/2020 14:26

@TtcanotherG I'm similar, hardly any symptoms but eating loads. I'm 6+3. I swear I had ms at this time with my other two. It's hard not to worry isn't it 🙄. X

Samk79 · 12/01/2020 15:02

@Kangaroo77 so sorry about what you went through, must have been awful for you.

I'm unsure about work, my new job is more hours but we will have to use childcare which is expensive!

We were planning a holiday abroad this year which obviously won't happen now so I feel guilty for my kids

We are in a 4 bed but the 4tg bed is tiny and my husband uses it as his office as be works from home.

I had all the same reservations last year then was devestated when I had the mc x

TtcanotherG · 12/01/2020 15:17

@Kangaroo77 so sorry to hear u had hard time. We had to terminate at 24weeks also due to abnormalities found at 20weeks scan. That whole thing changes my life. I definitely lost a bit off myself after that. I live for my 2 kids I have with me now.

Very hard not to worry about symptoms coming and then going. I'm nearly 6 weeks my next milestone will be getting to 8 weeks. I do feel the hunger also though so I still have that going for me

ChipsAreLife · 12/01/2020 15:43

Welcome @kangaroo77! So sorry to hear about your previous loss and also for you @TtcanotherG . Must be so difficult.

This is my third! I'm planning to kind of have four months off. I run my own company though with my business partner and in charge of finance and operations so I'll continue to do those bits. But then take four months off before I'm visible to clients. I started working again after dc2 was four months and found it ok but I scrambled a bit for childcare. This time getting something formal in place and will also have my amazing cleaner!!

@shiningstarz I did my CB today and got 3+ too 🥳

How's everyone feeling? My boobs are so sore but I've also really lost my appetite. Has anyone else? I don't feel sick as such just no hunger which is unlike me!!!!

Mcgootwo · 12/01/2020 18:56

Done another test this morn to see if weeks have went up, and thankfully they have 🤞🏽 I'm 5wks +1 today

September 2020?
ShiningStarz · 12/01/2020 19:09

Ahhh @ChipsAreLife and @Mcgootwo how are ya’s feeling? I’m bit crampy, still got some white discharge and boobs little sore but less than they were.

ShiningStarz · 12/01/2020 19:09

Congrats @Kangaroo77 🤞🤞🤞

Mcgootwo · 12/01/2020 19:33

@ShiningStarz I have sensitive boobs and a bit of a heavy sensation in the lower part of my stomach, that's about it really 🤔

Lazydaisydaydream · 12/01/2020 19:47

I am feeling so sick SadEnvy
Same as my last pregnancy, gradually getting worse during the day so evenings are the worst. Putting my toddler to bed ATM, lying next to him while he falls asleep having to do deep breathing to stop myself from vomiting all over him Blush

ShiningStarz · 12/01/2020 19:59

@lazydaisydaydream how far along are you?
I really want to ‘feel’ pregnant 😩

ShiningStarz · 12/01/2020 20:00

@Mcgootwo me too. I am having my hcg done in the morning, should have my result back by end of the day / Tuesday 🤞 will update on here

Mcgootwo · 12/01/2020 20:11

@ShiningStarz ah all the best for 2moro.... I'm waiting to hear from hospital for an early scan, was at doc last Wednesday so she has sent request in but could be few weeks yet.... I really need to have more patience

ShiningStarz · 12/01/2020 20:14

@Mcgootwo it doesn’t help when time goes by sooo slowly!! Iv booked an early scan privately, it’ll be 6w 5d. My partner is happy enough to wait until 12 week scan!! He would still worry until that point.. not sure what to do!
