BelliniButterfly · 29/12/2019 20:28

I've searched for due date thread and couldn't find one so thought I would start a new one!

I'm 4+6 and due at the very beginning of September. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old so my hands are going to be very full lol!

Swimming gear is packed!! Thanks @Roxy8203 you’ve made me feel better!
I feel good today.
Still wearing white pants lol and checking excessively but I think that’s ‘normal’ 🤣

Doing my food shop tonight, lots of good healthy food on the list! I’ll be soup making queen this weekend!!

Re. The bloat. Iv started having 2 liquid meals and 1 actual dinner (smoothie and soup). Really hoping it will help / I’ll be going to H&M too 🙈

Re. Dreams omg iv been having crazy ones last few days!!!!! I felt v v hot before I got my bfp, same as af so I thought i was out! Our crazy bodies tricking us 😩

Mcgootwo · 08/01/2020 12:22

Hey ok if I join in over here... I'm just out of docs and all is good so far I'm 4+4 today. Due date 12th September. Doc is sending request for early scan now so I will b waiting hard for that. I have a DD who is 5 soon and had MMC /d&c of twins on 6th November so I'm soooo nervous 😬

Fingers crossed for a positive time this time 🤞🏽🙏🏼

I've sensitive boobs & a little discomfort in lower stomach but that's about it so far x

Roxy8203 · 08/01/2020 13:25

@ShiningStarz you go girl. Sounds like your feeling better about things now.

megan81088 · 08/01/2020 13:44

Hi Iv got a private scanned booked with window to the womb next weekend and by the time of my scan I’ll be 7+3 how far gone will you be? Did they say you should definitely be able to see a heartbeat by then? I’m pregnant with my first and I’m so anxious something is going to go wrong or I’ll go for my scan and there won’t be anything there 😳

ShiningStarz · 08/01/2020 14:27

I am @Roxy8203 no spotting, little crampy but feeling more positive, thank you 🤗 hope you are doing well.

@Mcgootwo congrats! We have the same EDD. I have an early scanned booked for couple weeks time when 🤞 I’ll be 6w 5d.

Congrats @megan

Roxy8203 · 08/01/2020 14:47

@megan81088 congrats. You should be able to see a heartbeat around6-7 weeks. I had a scan at 6+2 where I saw the heartbeat but only on an internal scan. It wasn't visible on the external

megan81088 · 08/01/2020 15:01

Thanks @Roxy8203 I’m going to have the internal scan as well it’s so silly all this worrying but you read such horror stories on the internet I can’t help but worry! I don’t think it helps that I have no symptoms either I feel totally normal so it’s like it’s not real!

Boosnumber2 · 08/01/2020 15:02

I think I I'm possibly losing my very early pregnancy....4+2 today. Tested positive Monday on expected period date. Faint positive....like on my first pregnancy for my DD. Dodnt register on CB digital yesterday or today. And normal tests today getting fainter. I'm terrified its not going to stick....have done way too many tests since Monday.......Confused Sad

Dipsy77 · 08/01/2020 15:16

@Boosnumber2 I'd forgotten how scary the first few weeks are and I was pregnant the exact same time last year ! My tests were very faint I'm 4 weeks today and I'm petrified it won't stick, I'm getting pink tinged discharge which I had last time too and I ended up in the EPU about 4 times from been 6 weeks due to bleeding and panicking but all was ok. I think it's best to test very first thing which is easier said than done. I'm cramping a lot too, my period was due Friday so just need to get past that fingers crossed. It's my 4 month olds injections Friday so that will take my mind off it a bit as it's now a nice experience at all and makes them poorly for a few days, hopefully you will be fine and it's just nerves x

Dipsy77 · 08/01/2020 15:17

#not a nice experience meant to say x

Boosnumber2 · 08/01/2020 15:31

@Dipsy77 thanks. I've done tests with early morning urine yesterday and today, but both were digital....which arent as sensitive. The normal tests I've done (shamefully many in 3 days!) Have all had a positive result. Faint, but getting fainter.
GP appt friday....we will see what he suggests....he might do bloods if I'm lucky....but he is more likely to tell me to wait a week and see what happens.

Roxy8203 · 08/01/2020 15:48

@megan81088 I've not had my scan this time yet and I won't be having an internal but I was pregnant in July and had a early scan then. They can see a lot more internally.

@Boosnumber2 got everything crossed for you x

Mcgootwo · 08/01/2020 16:15

Ah thats great @ShiningStarz, same EDD!!! So exciting and so lovely having all you ladies all due around the same time to compare and reassure each other Grin I'll be hoping for a scan around then too so fingers crossed for that!

Lucieintheskywithnappies · 08/01/2020 19:25

@Boosnumber2 Everything crossed, how stressful for you.

I've been to Window to the Womb for a cheap reassurance scan at 17 weeks in my last pregnancy. It was absolutely fine for that purpose. But I would bear in mind two things:

  1. There was a thread on Mumsnet this week (might have been AIBU?) where the poster said Window to the Womb had told her she was expecting twins at an early scan (8 weeks or so I think?) and then a few weeks later admitted they had made a mistake and she had only ever been carrying one baby, so she had the weird feeling of having lost a baby that actually never existed. I really don't know anything about the qualifications/experience of the staff there when compared to eg the NHS, and nor do I know how difficult it is to assess an early scan so maybe a hospital sonographer could reasonably have made a similar mistake, but quite a few posters were suggesting that the staff are less qualified at Window to the Womb such that they would not recommend going for an early scan there (as it's harder to make things out at the early stage).
  1. It is a commercial enterprise, and it does feel like it, so be prepared! They are very nice but they do encourage you to buy lots of extras like videos and expensive teddy bears that play your baby's heartbeat (!), and they were encouraging me to make reassurance scans a regular thing (I actually only needed one because I had the 20 week scan and then I felt movement which was reassuring).
Lucieintheskywithnappies · 08/01/2020 19:29

I am so fat, I have to unbutton my trousers when I sit down... but I dare not buy new clothes as I think it might give me away! In my last pregnancy I met a friend and told her I was pregnant, she responded, "I know - you are wearing a maternity dress"! Grin

I am planning to get the Harmony test (and viability scan) at the Fetal Medicine Centre when I'm over 10 weeks. Not cheap but I found them excellent last time.

ChipsAreLife · 08/01/2020 20:53

@boosnumber2 im so sorry you're having a crap time and uncertain. Maybe try leave till Friday if you can? Hope all is ok

I'm feeling pretty good but still so thirsty and mega bloated!!! Bloating in my previous pregnancies eased about 8 weeks or so, I didn't then get a 'bump' till 18 weeks maybe, it's a hard time to dress as maternity trousers etc are often way too big but your normal ones are too tight! Floaty dresses for the win!

Got loads of discharge and dull back ache and cramps. In a weird way want to hit 6 weeks and get some morning sickness 😆 will regret saying this before long ....

I called my surgery and don't see midwife for booking in till I'm 9 weeks at the beg of Feb - seems like Aaaaages. But they'll put in for my scan before that so I may get that date soon. At least after booking in I won't have a long wait!

How's everyone else doing? X

ShiningStarz · 08/01/2020 21:09

@Boosnumber2 I’m sorry to hear this and I hope the doctor does some bloods to reassure you. Hugs.

@ChipsAreLife our symptoms are identical!!!
I’m so bloated! Lots creamy discharge and cramps on/off. Don’t have the thirst! Had like wave feelings today’s in chest stomach almost like hot flush type thing.. thought maybe nausea but don’t think it was. I want to feel sick too 🙈

@Lucieintheskywithnappies elasticated gym bottoms are my best friend!!

Hope everyone else doing ok xx

ShiningStarz · 08/01/2020 21:19

Has anyone done a CB with weeks?
I’m planning on doing one Fri morn with FMU, hopefully be 4w 7d and maybe see 3+ weeks 🤞

JMill13 · 08/01/2020 21:43

@shiningStarz it was cb with weeks that I did. After seeing the 2 lines on the wee cheap ebay test I went and bought clear blue in the shop and did it that afternoon came up 3+ weeks then. Still trying to work out what week I am now 😂 one app says 8+1 another says 6+3. So I have no idea what is going on.

ShiningStarz · 08/01/2020 21:45

What date did your last period start? @JMill13

Mcgootwo · 08/01/2020 21:52

@ShiningStarz it was the CB digital that I've done.... (4 times) first one was New Year's Eve and it said 1-2, then on 3rd Jan, same 1-2, then 5th Jan it said 2-3, then today it still said 2-3 yet.... was at doc today also to confirm all so..... yes it's officially, I've lost the plot 🤣🤣🤣

ShiningStarz · 08/01/2020 21:57

Thanks @Mcgootwo I don’t think I would get a 3+ by Fri then as we are tracking the same! Iv blood hcg at doctors in the morning. I’ll hold out for that 🤞

JMill13 · 08/01/2020 22:02

@shiningStarz 20th November, so I think it's 6 weeks?

ShiningStarz · 08/01/2020 22:15

I think it’s 7 weeks Today @JMill13
