BelliniButterfly · 29/12/2019 20:28

I've searched for due date thread and couldn't find one so thought I would start a new one!

I'm 4+6 and due at the very beginning of September. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old so my hands are going to be very full lol!

@Roxy8203 that’s great you have your scan booked in!!
I was going to book one on 6w 5d (appt is always a Wed).
The bloods are hcg at my gp, last time I got 2 hcgs within a few as they wanted to check if it was doubling.. this time I’ll mention progesterone gel. I just think with my history and age they are more cautious.

@JMill13 hcg is what a home pregnancy test detects. The blood one will be done prob when you see midwife. If you haven’t been trying long and you’ve no other health concerns etc it’ll be fine waiting until 16th 👍

Thanks @HugeAgeGap when I’m not driving at hen or wedding, I’d say it’ll be a giveaway anyways lol

@Marsje25 congrats!! We are all worriers in here!! I’m same as you, will be getting regular scans. My goal is 6 weeks with no bleeding 🤞

I worry about that too @Sunshinexx95
I have read so much. These first few weeks there’s nothing we can do, the embryo needs to be viable to stay. Fingers crossed wev all got healthy happy ones!! I think I’m keeping all my annual leave and will finish work earlier than norm if I even get to that stage 🤞

Roxy8203 · 06/01/2020 11:02

@ShiningStarz I hope your result come back well today! I presume the progesterone gel has to be prescribed?

emma278 · 06/01/2020 11:07

I even feel nervous about making a GP appointment incase I jinx it 🙈 x

Roxy8203 · 06/01/2020 11:19

@emma278 I know where your coming from but jinxing isn't a real thing 😉. Making the appointment won't change what is happening or the outcome. When I booked there wasn't many appointments left so I'd suggest booking as soon as poss so you don't end up waiting longer than you want to

ShiningStarz · 06/01/2020 11:29

@Roxy8203 I’m just off the phone to GP.
He said what will be will be.There’s nothing I can do at this stage to improve chances of little one sticking. He doesn’t think the gel will do anything so it’s not been prescribed.
I am booked in for an hcg tomorrow but I’m not sure I can go with work! Might have to have it later in the week.

Scan privately can either be offered 6w 5 days or 7w 5 days. I chose 6 as it’s almost 7 and hopefully I’ll see something by then? 🤞

Roxy8203 · 06/01/2020 11:42

@ShiningStarz you should defo see something by then. I saw a heartbeat last time at just over 6 weeks although that was an internal scan. I won't be having one of those again. I will only do an external scan while its so early on

ShiningStarz · 06/01/2020 11:49

@Roxy8203 my
Bloods are now Mon 13th!
I presumed it would be internal scan as it’s so early.
Are intervals not safe?

Roxy8203 · 06/01/2020 12:40

@ShiningStarz they told me it was safe and I'm not placing blame but I saw a heart beat on the internal scan but my pregnancy didn't progress after that. Honestly not trying to scare anyone and I'm sure if it wasn't safe they wouldn't do it, it may just be an awful coincidence, but I'm not willing to risk it personally. It's not easy for us to catch due to my partner so I'll do anything for this pregnancy to be successful

ShiningStarz · 06/01/2020 12:52

Hi @Roxy8203 I completely understand.

If my hcg is indicating all Is fine when I get results next Wed, I may change the scan until week 8.

I’m in no rush to be honest, there’s nothing I can change anyway. Just praying af stays away!

botbird84 · 06/01/2020 12:55

To those that have children already - I know that pregnancy causes an increase in going to the loo, but I'm literally needing to go every 30-45 mins! I tried holding an hour as I was teaching but it's quite uncomfortable. Is this normal?!

ShiningStarz · 06/01/2020 12:56

Hi everyone, I’m checking out of here until next weekend. It’s crazy trying to get back to work after being off over Christmas let alone with a bfp !!! I can’t focus! Think less screen time & a good book!!
Hope the next few days go well for you all.
Chat Fri evening xx

EverdeRose · 06/01/2020 15:27

Thought I'd say hi

First timer here, I found out a few days ago and I'm due 6th September.

I'm planning on an early scan too.

HugeAgeGap · 06/01/2020 16:01

Hi @botbird84 I didn't have this first time around and don't this time. Have heard others get this though!! x

Roxy8203 · 06/01/2020 16:23

Hi @EverdeRose, congratulations. This is my second pregnancy but will hopefully be my first baby. Your due a day before me. We have started a Facebook page of you want to join that. It's called September September

JMill13 · 06/01/2020 16:27

@botbird84 omg this! I don't have kids yet but the endless need to pee every half hour is driving me insane. Even at night which is almost worse. I actually thought I had a UTI at one point last week I was peeing that much. So, also hoping this is normal.

Chadder2017 · 06/01/2020 16:55

Hi @EverdeRose! I'm due on 4th September!

@Roxy8203 I can't find that Facebook group can you post a link to it xx

Roxy8203 · 06/01/2020 17:05

@EverdeRose if you send a Pm to @Bellinibutterfly she can add you. She is the admin. I don't think you can send PM from the app so have to go on the site to send them

Lumc86 · 06/01/2020 17:24

Hi ladies,
Had my bfp on Saturday, so estimated due date is around 12/9/20.
This’ll be baby 2 for me, I also have a son who’s almost 19 months.
Definitely feeling a lot more chilled this time around, but forgot how horrible the waiting is for the first few weeks!!!

BelliniButterfly · 06/01/2020 18:09

Apologies to those I haven't added to the group yet but I'll be home soon and will do it tonight! Thanks 😊

Just catching up. Hello and congratulations to all the new comers. And, of course, fingers crossed for everyone! Booked my midwife appointment today thinking it'll be weeks away but it's only two. I was surprised! First day back at work today but it was an inset day so was able to sit down a lot. My right boob is achy 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 and the occasional feeling of sick but apart from that everything seems settled.

Crazymummyto3 · 06/01/2020 18:53

@BelliniButterfly If you need another admin I would be happy to help

Dipsy77 · 06/01/2020 19:51

@bellinibutterfly I've received the add request thanks but it says the link is broken when I click on it ? X

Boosnumber2 · 06/01/2020 21:03

Hi ladies. New to the gang. BFP today. 4 weeks exactly. EDD by my dates is 14th September. I have one DD who is 10mo. Didnt think it would happen so quickly for us this time as it took over a year last time. Plus 3mo of fertility acupuncture which I hadn't started this time yet!
Would love to join the FB group as I struggle to keep up with these forums!

Boosnumber2 · 06/01/2020 21:04

I will request bellinibutterfly to add me!

Penisbeaker24 · 06/01/2020 21:35

Found out Dec 28th I’m preggo with our first. Mid November we were told it would be a long journey as my fella had very low sperm count. So as you can imagine this was a total shock! I’m due first week September I believe, hopefully after the 1st!
