BFP! August/September 2020 Babies!

Hi, just found out after a long time trying! Haven't really told anyone yet so thought some ladies in the same position might want somewhere to share symptoms/stories/worries. Doesn't feel real yet and that 12 week scan seems a loooooong way off!! 😂

Has anyone experienced brown discharge from 6w? I had a tiny bit when wiped fri pm, nothing again until sat pm again wiped. This morn (sun) there’s bit more and on pants (sorry tmi!).
I have mmc before but at 5w, started brown and turned to red with clots. Just hoping doesn’t happen this time around. Keep reading brown blood is old blood?!

I have the worst anxiety today that all isn't well I'm meant to be 11 weeks tomorrow but I've just convinced myself that at my scan a week on Monday they're going to tell me it's stopped growing since the previous 6 week scan. I'm having nightmares and feel totally nervous today- my OH is in Amsterdam all week with work and I just feel rubbish, can't stop worrying about it. Please can anyone offer any ways of coping to get me through to next week? Xx

I'm back home and everything is ok! Baby is exactly 8 weeks today and has a nice and regular heartbeat ❤❤❤ I was so emotional...I feel so relieved and so happy. At least I know now, that even if I don't feel pregnant at all, things are probably just fine. Hoping this reassurance will hold on to me for more than a couple of days this time. I've read somewhere that once you reach 8 weeks with a heartbeat, the risk of miscarriage is really rapidly dropping compared to the week 6 and 7. Still nothing is 100% but I feel much more positive. ❤

@ShiningStarz I have been spotting since 5 weeks every day with brown blood. I am now 8 weeks and had a scan at 6 weeks showing a heartbeat. My gynae is happy as long as the blood isn't red. Still plenty of pregnancy symptoms (sore boobs, lot of gas and on and off nausea) so I am working on the assumption that all is well.

I just worry that’s it’s signs of an impending MC. Iv already had one 6 months ago at 5w, I’m 6w 2d today so was feeling better until today ☹️ I guess it’s just watch and wait the next few days.
I had my early scan booked for wed (6w 5d). So we’ll see xx

@Mrs71 I'm so sorry that you're feeling the way I am too with this anxiety, it's just so awful!

@ShiningStarz It is such an anxious time. I will keep everything crossed for you. I have my next scan on the 3rd of Feb, so trying not to think about it too much until then. There's not really much I can do at this point so I am doing my very best not too worry even if I do end up thinking about it in the wee hours when I should be asleep!

@kersh33 it really is so stressful! I cried lots this morning and I’m ready now for bad news. My partner is staying positive! Don’t know how he goes that!! The brown discharge is so slight, had period like cramps last night but nothing today! What on earth are our bodies up to?! 😩 hope your ok, hugs xx

@kersh33 Hi! a friend of mine has bled on several of her babies (she's currently pregnant with baby 6!). This was proper red blood too. She needed to wear a sanitary pad for several days. She was so positive that everything was ok even though she's had some horrible mcs in the past. She said you have to have faith in your body and baby. She was right, on all of those pregnancies the babies were absolutely fine. It really is quite a common thing. I wish I could take a leaf out of her book because I'm such a worrier that I'm driving myself crazy but I thought I'd pass it on because it's a nice message. Please don't let yourself think the worst. Be positive and trust your body. There's no point in worrying until you know there's something to worry about (easier said than done I know!) @ShiningStarz hi lovely. I have had bleeding, at about 5-6 weeks. I have been scanned since and everything was fine. It's awful and scary. It was red blood followed by brown discharge for about 3 days. They scanned me at 7 and 8 weeks and so far so good! I have had 2 mc in the past so I understand how scary it is! Xx

Hi guys!! Hope everyone’s doing well.. I had some brown/ pink spotting on Friday which turned to red/pink bleeding like a light period on sat/sun went into walk in and have been given a scan at epu for tomorrow morning.. and tbh I’m pretty positive it’s a miscarriage 😢

I’m 6w 3D today and since 5w 7d iv been having brown discharge. Not red/pink yet but I am too very nervous.
Iv a scan tomorrow too but it’s at 5pm, absolutely dreading it.
I have been googling so much over the weekend and iv read of others having red period like bleed and all was well. I hope that will be you. Hugs x

@Martina2311 we have exactly the same due date I also had my scan yesterday and they dated me at exactly 8 weeks found a nice heartbeat and said everything was fine such a relief isn’t it! I’m still symptomless but at least I now know it’s real x
