Hi, just found out after a long time trying! Haven't really told anyone yet so thought some ladies in the same position might want somewhere to share symptoms/stories/worries. Doesn't feel real yet and that 12 week scan seems a loooooong way off!! 😂

@itssquidstella same here, I cant say its a nausea but I definitely feel a bit weird around my stomach at times. I wonder if it will increase from 6 weeks onwards (I'm hoping it won't as I am having a really long week at work next week).
Have you received your 12 week scan yet? I've received it yesterday and got booked for Feb the 6th. But just like you, I am planning an earlier scan at 7 weeks on the 14th. I had a mc before and exactly what you are saying happened to me. Baby stopped developing at 6+3 but we didnt find out until 11 weeks and I hated it. Because of that I am also so anxious this time. I feel like sometimes I'm very positive but then I get waves of anxiety and I feel really worried especially with symptoms up and down. Like last night...its hard to control. I understand they are busy at the hospitals but dont like the fact that you dont get to have any info until so many weeks unless you actually decide to go for the earlier scan :( . I know they say you cant really influence what happens so maybe there is no point in checking unless you have any valid reasons, but just to be calm and be able to enjoy even the first trimestr, it would be really helpful to have more regular checks like in other countries...

@Martina2311 sorry to hear about your mc. I haven't heard from the hospital yet - I filled in an online form on the 29th so I'll give them a ring next week if I haven't received anything by then.

It's such an anxious time; I'd like to relax and be happy that I'm pregnant but until I've seen a heartbeat I won't fully be able to!

I have just had a BFP! Can’t believe it. I had a mmc 1 year ago and been trying since August. According to my last menstrual period I should be 5 weeks but the clear blue digital says 1-2 weeks. What do I go with?
Well done to you all on your BFP.

Martina2311 · 03/01/2020 11:59

Hello @Confused38 and congratulations on your bfp! :)

The CB gives you a result in weeks since conception so it would be always at least 2 weeks "less" than what the last period dates tell you. You could have also ovulated later in your cycle or your hcg is nearly at the next result (2-3) but wasnt there just yet when you tested. :)

8 weeks today and my nausea has been very bad the last few days and I’m sure it’s not going anywhere soon. Anyone got any remedies that are helping them? Especially need them for while I’m at work!

ml01omm · 03/01/2020 20:16

Is anyone else just eating crap? mainly white carbs?

I am surviving on sandwiches, toast, pizza, cheese, crisps and biscuits.

Its not so much nausea (touch wood, I only feel slightly off) but more a complete repulsion at the thought of any type of vegetable, fish, even the thought of potatos just seems nasty.

Crazypanda85 · 03/01/2020 20:26

All I can eat is cornflakes for breakfast, cheese sandwiches for lunch and chips and chicken nuggets/fish fingers for dinner. It's grim!!!! I feel sick all the time!!!!

Jessem29 · 03/01/2020 21:38

I am the same. Feel so tried, like I have a bug. I am just recovering from a cold so could be a bit of both. Feel like all I need is salad and healthy food but when I come to eat it I just can not stomach it. I have been sick only in the mornings and very little (my last twin pregnancy was awful sickness all day, so feel this is bearable) hope everyone is ok! Xx

IslayBrigid · 03/01/2020 22:11

I'm nearly 6 weeks and the nausea is starting to creep in I think. Had a queezy morning today and had much less appetite tonight. It's definitely nothing major tho. Have people who have already been pregnant found it gets in later? When is normal?
My mum said when she was pregnant with me all she could eat was crackers and milk for a good while, so sounds a bit like you two @ml01omm & @Crazypanda85 🙃

@OzEm ginger is good for nausea in general so might help. I also read taking b6 can help but you'd want to look that up and check with GP xx

ttcAlex · 04/01/2020 03:19

@IslayBrigid With my first pregnancy nausea was at its peak at 7-8 weeks untill 10-11 weeks. With my second - it was on and off from start throughout 1st trimester. With this one - so far seems as my second. Everyone's different though.

Peanutty86 · 04/01/2020 06:55

@ml I was like this in my first pregnancy- basically ate nothing but plain white pasta for a loooong time. I accepted that's what it was and eventually got over it.

Peanutty86 · 04/01/2020 06:56

@ml01omm sorry I can't tag people for so e reason, half the screen gets cut off...

Mammasj · 04/01/2020 07:14

I didn't have any sickness on either of my first two children. I had days where I felt a little nauseas but nothing significant at all. I did have sore boobs though. On this one, nothing at all so far. Wouldn't even know I'm pregnant but for the very positive tests! Has anyone had no symptoms in previous pregnancies? And differences between girls and boys? Thank you x

Ginblooded · 04/01/2020 10:33

Morning all! I commented aages ago joining this lovely thread but got caught up in all the Christmassy fun to catch up!

Is anyone back to work full time yet? I'm back on Monday and Dreading it. Had a nap yesterday at about 3, and still slept from 11-10am (only getting up to wee! And thankfully my 9 yr old got up late too) I'm definitely going to have to practice sleeping earlier 😴

SavanahXx · 04/01/2020 12:48

Hi everyone 😊 first of all, congratulations to you all! I got my BFP on new year's day. What exciting news to go into the new year with. This is my 5th pregnancy, I had 2 mmc and then my DD, then another miscarriage a few months ago. I'm very, very anxious.

I hope everyone's having a happy and healthy pregnancy Flowers

Arc86 · 04/01/2020 13:54

@Ginblooded I’m back at work on Monday as well after a lovely two week Christmas break. Slightly apprehensive about going back as I’ve felt like I have zero energy to do anything over the last few days. It really seems to zap all your energy!

Duffy23 · 04/01/2020 14:28

Hi all

I am 6 weeks today! So excited. Just feel a little dizzy & so tired! No morning sickness yet. I work as a retail manager so I am kind of worried about how to hide any morning sickness I get. And i cannot wait for my bump to start showing. Its also so hard not to tell anyone yet! Xx congrats to all

Happyhippie88 · 04/01/2020 14:40

Ive Got an appt with the epu tomorrow as had a small bleed and cramping on nyd. Should be scanning me too, time seems to be going very slowly today. Not sure wether ill be 7 weeks or 8 weeks either due to irregular period cycles. Just hoping we see a heartbeat

Zm2019 · 04/01/2020 15:34

So I am now suffering with bad acid reflux. Had this in my first pregnancy but that wasnt till late 2nd and 3rd trimester. I took Gaviscon. What are you all taking to help with the acid. I am currently trying not to take any medication till I have seen the midwife on 14th. But it's getting too bad now.

WorriedButterfly · 04/01/2020 15:41

Does anyone look dreadful? I look like I haven't slept for 3 weeks! I look anaemic, but don't see why I would be at this stage. I have mild nausea back today, I've had bad anxiety since new year feeling like everything has gone away 😞 big cry last night, not feeling positive about my scan at all. Keeping fingers crossed @Happyhippie88. x

SavanahXx · 04/01/2020 15:52

Got my fingers crossed for you @Happyhippie88 will be thinking of you tomorrow Flowers

Im the same @WorriedButterfly according to the calculator I will only be 5 weeks tomorrow yet haven't stopped feeling sick for the past week, and I feel like I have 0 energy at all. Wishing I could stay in bed. Im also finding that im struggling to sleep at night because im constantly anxious.

Martina2311 · 04/01/2020 15:56

@WorriedButterfly hey honey! Same here-maybe even worse, I feel really down for the last few days. I was going to go for a scan at 7 weeks but feel like I cant wait any longer because I'm so anxious. I've decided I might go to EPU this Tuesday when I will be exactly 6 weeks. I know I might not see a heartbeat just yet, but I need a bit of reassurance..I think partly I feel like this because I feel like my breasts are getting less sensitive, which is normal, I know....at times I felt bloated but not much anymore and I think I feel a very very mild nausea sometimes but not sure if that's just in my head cause I'm watching myself a lot. I know it's still so early so I cant expect much symptoms anyways...but I just cant help it but worry. I've had a bit of sharp pains near my left ovary yesterday (nothing too painful at all, just noticable) so maybe it's nothing, but I just want to go and check. One day I feel a bit positive while other I can feel really down without being able to focus at work etc. :(

Martina2311 · 04/01/2020 15:57

@Happyhippie88 we will be all thinking of you lovely! This can happen so hopefully everything is just fine! Sending an air hug xxx
