Hi everyone, I am slightly further along than everyone else. I am 12 weeks and 6 days. I just thought I would reassure a few mums to be in regards to their cramps, lack of symptoms and early scans.
I found I out I was pregnant 3 days before my missed period, I had an early private scan at 5 weeks and no heart beat was seen, they booked me in for another scan 10 days later. On this scan I was dated 6 weeks and 6 days. A heart beat was saw, although every weak. The sonographer suggested that it may have only just started beating. Most fatal heartbeats start around 5 to 8 weeks. So please dont worry, if a heart beat is not detected before 8 weeks.
My lack of symptoms had my worried every day. From finding out I was pregnant up until 7 weeks, I had no symptoms at all, like none. From around 7 and half weeks til 11 weeks, I had none stop sickness, couldn't keep anything down. Morning sickness was and still is the only symptom I have had. So again, try not to worry about what symptoms you are getting.
In regards to cramps, I have had them every day for the past 3 months. Some even feel like period cramps. The cramps are there due to your uterus and womb expanding. Some woman experience cramps all the way through pregnancy with no complications.
Those first 12 weeks of pregnancy are soo daunting and scary but remember everyone's pregnancy is different and if in doubt contact your midwife or gp.
Hope everyone is wellSmile

@AmyMaria2 I've not even had any cravings. I keep telling my partner I am craving everything so he nips to the shop, that way I dont have to.
I had my 12 week scan on Tuesday and the sonographer said "she is being naughty" as she wouldn't stay still for the measurements. I've got my early gender scan on 13th November.
Hope everything is well you Smile x

Here are my scan photos, the top ones are from my early private scans and the bottom is my 12 week one.

Hi every one I'm 4 weeks 5 days pregnant. I havnt had morning sickness as of yet. I feel like the tiredness is never ending. Also been having dull aches and cramps in my lower tummy and back ache, should I be concerned as I am only early on? Never felt cramps with my 1st born?

caitlin191 · 25/10/2019 22:02

@junemummy2020 congratulations on your news. I am still getting cramps (12+6) and my morning sickness didnt start until 7 weeks pregnant. However, if you're concerned speak to your local epu (early pregnancy unit). If the cramps are not accompanied by any bleeding or mild smelling discharge then I would say everything is fine but it's best to check with your health care professional. X

@Anny27 sending positive thoughts your way. Please come to chat here if you need it. Don't stress alone we have all lost and know how you're feeling with the not knowing what's going on. ❤️

MissKatz · 26/10/2019 07:06

Hello everyone.
Im pregnant with my second at 38. Apparently I'm 8 weeks but I think I'm less. I just had an early scan because I'm bleeding and have been for a month. They said the bleeding is not related to my pregnancy and taken some samples for testing. I'm nervous because sometimes after I go to the loo it's lined with fresh blood and lumpy on the tissue so I don't know what it is.
In other news I have a sloped back womb making it hard to see the baby. Baby was tiny could hardly see a thing.
I work with just one other person. I have a low paid but high stress job because I only work with one person so juggling lots of tasks. Because of that I though either look for another job or have a baby so opted for the latter. I'm stressed because I know the mat pay will be crap and we already struggle to make ends meet, and also very hard for me to leave for appointments and the hospital is far away. She's like bloody Sherlock always suspecting things and working things out so I'm worried she'll figure it out! Plus she'll have a melt down and won't be happy I'm preggers. I took a sick day a couple of weeks back and she huffed for the eat of her week and complained about how busy she was.

Anyways there are my worries! I am most concerned about bleeding. Sorry for the long post.

caitlin191 · 26/10/2019 09:38

@MissKatz congratulations! Sorry to hear about your work situation, could you apply for working tax credits? X

thirteen92 · 26/10/2019 09:52

Hey! I've only had 1 BFP so far and 2 BFN :( Had my bloods taken yesterday so should get results Monday... keeping my fingers crossed. If I'm definitely pregnant, I am 5+2 with EDD 26th June. I'm having cramps and a stabbing pain in my right side with a bloated tummy too (this started yesterday evening). I'm worried and have convinced myself I'm having an ectopic pregnancy. If I do get my BFP from bloods I'm considering having an early scan... I'm so scared something is wrong. I didn't see a BFP until AF was 4 days late!

Smiffette · 26/10/2019 14:03

Sooo I booked an early scan.... was going back and forth but just thought do it! I will be 9weeks on the scan so it will be a few weeks before the normal first NHS one so I'm hoping it relieves my anxiety!
Luckily they do Sunday's, it's 2 weeks tomorrow as I am away for a week between then and that's the earliest DH and I could do!

MilsCookie · 26/10/2019 16:57

I’m so sorry @Anny27. Try to stay positive until you know for sure what’s going on. Keeping everything crossed for you!! 💫 💫 💫

JaneMurrayG · 26/10/2019 18:50

So excited to be joining this group. I'm almost 7wks pregnant after a successful first round of IVF. I have an early scan on Wed but I'm very nervous, despite having lots of symptoms, still just doesn't feel real! Due 15th June.

Smiffette · 26/10/2019 18:51

@JaneMurrayG congratulations and welcome! We are due date buddies

AmyMaria2 · 26/10/2019 19:45

Smiffette · 26/10/2019 19:48

@AmyMaria2 aww thanks! Hope yours goes well Smile

LH1987 · 26/10/2019 22:53

Congratulations @JaneMurrayG, I had my early scan last night at 6 + 3 and saw the tiny blob and a heat beat. It was amazing !

BudgieBird · 27/10/2019 01:34

@JaneMurrayG @Smiffette Hello due date buddies! I'm unlikely to actually last that long with twins though - everyone I know with them has had them early.

I think I had my first taste of round ligament pain today - a horrible stab after sneezing whilst sitting cross-legged. Yikes.

MsMiaWallace · 27/10/2019 08:08

Is anyone else starving hungry mainly all the time?
I've had porridge at around 7am.
I'm starving again!

MrsD20 · 27/10/2019 08:43
