Hi everyone just checking in, have been checking the thread but not much else to say. I am hopefully 7-8 weeks but not sure due to long irregular cycles. Have an early scan on Sunday so will let you know! Have gone from being worried about lack of symptoms to having alllll the symptoms (Mainly knackered, sore boobs and nauseous) so had a rough couple of weeks at work (of course these few weeks would be the ones where I’m working lots of long day shifts and weekends!). Had my first midwife apt and she asked me about alcohol, could quite honestly say no desire to drink 🤢

Hope you all keep well and here’s to the end of the first trimester!

Morning!
I've gone from insomnia last week to wanting to sleep the clock round now. Feel really bleurgh this morning too. Going to attempt a quiet day with my toddler (if that's possible!)

Really no symptoms at all today which seems rather odd, last two had some sort of morning sickness. Thinking maybe something is wrong

Vio112 · 25/10/2019 10:52

Hi everyone I have a bit of a TMI question (my apologies!) Does anyone else find that the colour of their pee isn't necessarily proportionate to the amount of water their drinking? I've been drinking absolutely loads recently as constantly thirsty. Don't have any signs of infection so I'm holding off contacting my gp but wondered if it was normal or not. I'm somewhere between 4+4 and 5+2 depending on which app I believe.

Vio112 · 25/10/2019 10:53

@amymaria2 I'm exactly the same! I think insomnia has hit me a bit earlier then as only around 5 weeks 😬

Anny27 · 25/10/2019 11:02

@Vio112 are you taking prental vitamins? They are known to make wee a green/ yellow tinge. Mine is certainly more yellow atm!

@anny27 ahh thank you! Yes, that's probably it. I'm taking mum to be multi vits, feel reassured now ☺️ xx

Hawse · 25/10/2019 13:38

@Vio112 and @amymaria2 - The insomnia is real. Yikes. I wake up every night now at 3 am and unable to go back to sleep, so usually have been getting up. It's hell as a commuter with a busy London job because I dont get home usually until later and I look like a zombie, then just don't sleep again the next night.

Not too many other symptoms to report. Slight nausea but that comes and goes. Sometimes I worry more things should be happening, but trying to be positive or else I'll worry myself into the ground. I had an early scan at 6+2, but may try and go for a private one at 9 weeks to make sure all is well.

I just had my booking in appointment, all feels so much more real now! The midwife was lovely and reassuring too which put me completely at ease!

Only 3.5weeks until my NHS scan. How long has everyone got left to wait?

Anny27 · 25/10/2019 15:02

@lemonysherbet i had my booking in appointment this morning as well!

Got my private scan tonight and then mu NHS scan on 20th nov so not long!

Hi Anny27 I've got my first private scan tonight as well. So nervous!

Lemonysherbet · 25/10/2019 17:36

Oh that's exciting @Anny27 :) and @lh1987

Let us know how you get on. It's such a beautiful thing I hope your nerves disappear quickly :)

Anny27 · 25/10/2019 18:43

I had some rubbish news ladies :( baby is only measuring 6+1 and they couldnt see a heartbeat. So it could either mean i had my dates wrong (almost certain i havent) or it could mean a missed misscariage.

I am absolutley devestated and it will be a nerve wracking 2 weeks waiting to find out which option it is :( xxx

Really sorry to hear that @Anny27. You do hear of some funny situations where women are absolutely convinced they ovulated on one day but all the scans say otherwise and baby agrees too and comes closer to the scan due date. Really hoping for good news for you.

AmyMaria2 · 25/10/2019 19:00

@Anny27 so sorry to hear that, really hoping there was a mistake with your dates and your just a little earlier xxx

Oh @anny27 I'm sending you all the love and crossing everything. Let's hope you ovulated late, it's possible. You don't have to leave, were here to support each other and I'm sure a lot of us have been through MC and are happy to talk to you if you want to talk.
