Hello Everyone!

I am due my second baby on 27th June 2020. I thought I would start a separate thread for those due at the end of the month as I don't know about you but I feel a bit left behind in the June thread Grin. Maybe we can have people from 20th June to 4th July in here? Then we will all be super close!

Maybe we can comment with a bit of info so I'll start:

Due date: 27th June
Baby: #2
TTC cycle: 6
Symptoms: nausea when hungry and hot flushes

Those who had the harmony test, how long did the results take? I've been told 7 working days.

BabyBird20 · 04/01/2020 13:48

@blizy I had mine done on the Wednesday and had the call the following Wednesday! So glad I did it but the wait was a killer! Now I can't wait for the next scan to see my baby boy again!

MRSRCH · 06/01/2020 11:11

Is it normal to be having tightenings this early on? 14+4 and past couple of days been having light tightenings around my bump. Nothing really painful and most certainly not contraction pain. I've never experienced it before in my other 2 pregnancies so its taking me by surprise.

Bikbikmum · 08/01/2020 22:26

@MRSRCH I had those couple of times. I thought I might be tired. I lay down to my left and rest, they go away. I think if they happen very often and consecutively, it is best to check with your midwife.

Millettmum · 10/01/2020 13:38

I'm a bit late on this group, but I'm due 2nd July so 15+1.

Sickness has gone but my appetite is strange with good days and bad days.

We are leaving the gender as a surprise.

I am worried about how stress and grief will affect the baby as we're currently caring for my 13 year old who is terminal with cancer. Anyone had any sort of experience?

bubblesqueek · 10/01/2020 14:14

Oh my got that's heart wrenching, sending you lots of love and strength.. I'm sure the baby will be fine even through stress of everything just remember to take time to look after your self aswell make sure your eating and not too run down (probs easier said then done) both your baby's need you so look after yourself for them xx

Piecrust32 · 11/01/2020 22:11

@Millettmum

Sending you lots of love ,
I’m sure the baby will be fine
I can’t offer much advice but just keep your strength up for both of them, eating little and often etc making sure you get some rest (easier said than done )
Xxx

Magpiefeather · 14/01/2020 05:02

Hello all, the thread somehow dropped off my “I’m on”, sorry I’ve not checked in in a while. Still intermittently sick here at 17 weeks Envy but otherwise much better with more energy. House renovation going quite well but we are tight on time now - hoping to move in a month.

Glad to hear scan news! Hope you are all feeling well.

@Millettmum I would also say I am sure baby will be fine. They have a wonderful way of taking what they need (which often leaves us depleted!) and you have enough to contend with, please don’t feel any guilt about the unborn baby feeling your stress. If that’s true he or she can also feel the love you are showing your 13 year old by caring for them.

Piecrust32 · 15/01/2020 02:31

LassoOfTruth · 16/01/2020 16:43

Oh @Piecrust32 I'm so very sorry to hear that.

Bikbikmum · 16/01/2020 19:20

@Piecrust32 I am very sorry

Bikbikmum · 16/01/2020 19:22

I am 16+3 today. I have realized an increased hunger this week. I don't feel full, after 10-15 mins , start feeling hungry again. Am very concerned since I need to watch out my weight, my bmi is high. Does anyone else experience similar hunger attacks?
