Hello Everyone!

I am due my second baby on 27th June 2020. I thought I would start a separate thread for those due at the end of the month as I don't know about you but I feel a bit left behind in the June thread . Maybe we can have people from 20th June to 4th July in here? Then we will all be super close!

Maybe we can comment with a bit of info so I'll start:

Due date: 27th June
Baby: #2
TTC cycle: 6
Symptoms: nausea when hungry and hot flushes

I’ve had my early scan today and little bean is healthy and has strong heartbeat ❤️ Currently measuring at 7.5 weeks.

@Squisha82 @1sttimemamasel Wow what great scan pics! Congrats to you both!y early scan feels so long ago now I want to book another one! Can't believe it's another 3 weeks until my 12 week scan!! It's all just taking too long!!

My booking in appointment is tomorrow, just sat and filled in an insanely long form so assuming my actual appointment won't be that long! Can't believe it's finally here!

@BabyBird20 Thanks hun. How r u feeling? I’ve got my booking appointment with midwife at 12.20 today, not been given any forms or anything she said the appointment will be about an hour long. X

I had my booking appointment a few weeks ago now and it lasted over an hour and a half. I filled in a lot of forms, had a flu jab and she took some bloods. I didn't really learn much but I didn't ask many question either. I was asked about my birthing plan and hospital of choice, and hadn't given much thought to either! This might just be me tho!!

Just had my booking in appointment, it lasted an hour and a quarter. Such a lovely midwife!! I'll be under a consultant for various reasons which is a bit of a worry but also good that they're on top of the risks!

Funniest bit was the poor student midwife trying to take my bloods and causing me to bleed all over the table! Poor girl was so traumatised! Luckily I'm not squeamish so managed to reassure her I was ok!

Had my early scan yesterday and measure at 6 weeks and 5 days. So lovely to see the baby's heart beating ❤️ they did find a fibroid 😑 will have to let my midwife know on Sunday when I have my first appointment. How are we all today? X

@BabyBird20 glad everything went ok, you're braver than me with all that blood! I just close my eyes and go to a happy place 😁

@gemf87 good new about your scan, what does having a fibroid mean in pregnancy?

I'm off work today and probably for the next few days as just feel awful; headache, sickness and so tired. Just need sleep I think 😕

@Squisha82 I don't know. The person doing my scan didn't seem to concerned but I've been reading up about them. Apparently they're quite common but cam cause complications.

I hope you feel better soon. I am also off work as feeling so sick.

@EmBrum thinking of you, this must be an incredibly tough time for you. Agree with the others, I would get in touch with your midwife for advice.

Great to hear about your early scans, those who’ve had them, and great that lots of you have done booking in appointment now.

Got my scan letter through at last, and it’s before Christmas so I’m really pleased about that. Also have consultant appointment on same day (they are going to take me through the risks / choices this time round as I had a third degree tear last time, which I’m hoping will be helpful).

Sickness has ramped up 5 times yesterday. 4 times day before. Only once today so far but it seems to get worse in the afternoon and evening. What a ridiculous design flaw. Here you have a body that is trying to grow a new human and a whole new organ, and the very fact you’re doing that makes you puke up all the nourishment you try and take. Makes me angry!! Tbh last night I was just glaring at DH thinking “you get to have a child without going through any of this shit”. Hormones probably making me more angry.

Oh and today I had a lady who helps at a playgroup I take dd to come over and ask me when the baby is due. I think I just went red and very quiet. I’m only 8 weeks ffs. Never wearing this dress again!

@Magpiefeather thank you so much for kind words. It is awful. Also had my Grandpa's funeral today :( taking more tests and making some calls tomorrow... best wishes to you x

So my pregnancy wasn't planned, and the father is someone I've known for years but our relationship has been casual. I've been anxious about telling him as I expected him to react badly and I wasn't wrong
I told him last week (via text as he wouldn't take my call - think he guessed something 'serious' was up) and initially he didn't believe me and said I'm 'game playing', then asked how he can be sure he's the Dad, then went back to not believing me before blocking me.
He unlocked me tonight to ask 'what's the latest', before getting me to confirm I'm keeping the baby, then asking if I'm just going to give up my job and everything.. and then telling me to never speak to him again. And I'm now blocked again.
I am an understanding person and appreciate it's a huge shock for him, as it was for me, but would it kill him to ask how I'm doing or speak rationally about things.. it's as if he genuinely doesn't realise this is half his responsibility.
This hasn't in any way made me question keeping the pregnancy but I feel so sad and hurt.

So sorry to hear this @EmBrum sounds very tough. I hope you get some answers soon and all the support IRL you need

for you too @HL123 that sounds really hard. Do you have any mutual friends who could speak to him maybe?

Oh my god @Magpiefeather someone offered me a seat on the tram home last night! I was so mortified I said no despite feeling really sick and thinking why didn’t I say yes straight after! I feel massive and all my jeans are too tight already but DH says I’m not obviously showing maybe I just looked like a I felt unwell if I was feeling sick maybe the lady at your playgroup just picked up on general vibe of feeling a bit unwell too and put 2 and 2 together? Sometimes I find myself subconsciously resting my hand on my tummy too which is probably a dead give away! Plus everyone knows you show much earlier when it’s not your first!

I had my private early scan last night. Saw a baby in the right place with a lovely strong heartbeat 💓 feels a lot more real now! The scan put me 5 days ahead of what I’d thought so based on that I’m 8+5 with a new EDD of 25th June. I guess it’s still probably liable to change again!

Hope all those suffering with the sickness are managing ok. I have also been feeling irrationally angry at DH as don’t feel he gets just how crap I’m feeling! I retched on the pavement on the way to work this morning after walking past a bin lorry

Hello everyone! Not commented for a while,think I've mainly slept as soon as I have got home from work and then slept straight after dinner. Pretty sure DH and the kids think I have abandoned them!
Never really had much nausea with my other two but my god I am feeling it this time round! I am currently eating a baguette with butter and I know in precisely 20 minutes time I am going to regret eating the whole blinking thing lol

Had my early scan today and scan showed me 1 day ahead, 8+3 now.. healthy baby with strong heartbeat ❤️

How is everyone feeling?
I honestly can’t stop eating! I’m starving in the morning so eat a good hearty breakfast and then feel sick between 11am and 4pm so have to keep nibbling. Then come 7pm I’m eating again! At this rate I may just put on weight and not show until the 11th hour! 😂

Thanks @passthewater - Sadly, I'm full on miscarrying now. Cancelled my rescan and booking appointment - hospital agreed. Seeing doctor next week for follow up.

Anyway just saying bye ladies. It's too tough following this now with all the scan pics etc. but of course wishing you all the very best. It's horrific that 1 in 4 parents feel this pain- I hope nobody else here does this time around :( xx

@PassTheWater I am sooo hungry! I forgot how to feel full again.. this is very concerning, I have a long journey to go and I conceived overweight...

@Bikbikmum @PassTheWater I also cannot stop eating it’s ridiculous, I wasn’t like this last time (not til later on anyway!). I’ve already put on loads of weight my clothes are getting too tight very quickly and I’m only 8 and a half weeks

Hiya, I'm new and due 29th of June! I'm 8 weeks 3 days, i had an early scan at the weekend and baby is looking good :) This is my first pregnancy and i'm absolutely shattered 😂 x
