Hello Everyone!

I am due my second baby on 27th June 2020. I thought I would start a separate thread for those due at the end of the month as I don't know about you but I feel a bit left behind in the June thread Grin. Maybe we can have people from 20th June to 4th July in here? Then we will all be super close!

Maybe we can comment with a bit of info so I'll start:

Due date: 27th June
Baby: #2
TTC cycle: 6
Symptoms: nausea when hungry and hot flushes

I can't help you @Montii , but I am in exactly the same boat as you. Just had an early scan and she could see the sac but only thought she could see the foetal pole (sp?), so, I am in limbo for the next two weeks, Until we go back.

Feel like shit, frankly. I did ovulate on day 17, so could potentially not be as far in as I thought.

Hate this!!

Hi all,

Joining the party late:

Facts:

Baby due at the end of June
2nd baby (first DD is 2)
Age 36

I'm not sure how many second time moms are on here but I feel like I am already showing! My stomach is ridiculously huge. Is that a thing second time round?

Glomum77 · 31/10/2019 19:55

@NotMaryWhitehouse @Montii
This also happened to me, I had a scan and only the sac could be seen. They took some bloods from me as well to check my hormone level to help date my pregnancy.
I know it's probably really stressful but it's also quite common for pregnancies before 6.5 weeks to not have a visible fetal pole in which case they will tell you to return at a a later date.
Because this happened to me the last time I am trying to be patient and wait a few more weeks to go back. If I went with my LMP then I would go sooner but I am going to wait until I am at least 7 weeks from the conception date before I go for a scan. Try not to worry, fingers crossed for you both.

Montii · 31/10/2019 20:16

Thanks Glomum, hope you it is all looking good at the next scan, just don’t want to get my hopes up too much in case it’s not good news.

Fingers crossed for you too @NotMaryWhitehouse

PlinkPlink · 31/10/2019 20:42

@LondonGirl83 alot of it is bloating for me. Pregnancy makes me so bloated. So you probably aren't showing quite yet but I know you DO show earlier with second pregnancies.

EmBrum · 31/10/2019 21:28

Evening lovelies. So sorry to hear about the early scanning issues - I'm sure it was just too early- really hope so.

I'm thinking of booking an early scan on a free Saturday we have at about 7+1 - does anyone have experience of 7 weeks being ok for early scans?

My booking appointment came in the post today for 21st Nov which will be 7+6 for me I think. I have blocked it out in work diary and will have to think how to explain that one! Anyone else in this boat? Anyone taking partner to this appointment? I don't think my DH can get time off work except for scans...

Thanks all x

Blizy · 01/11/2019 06:21

I'm in a bit of a panic, I poas (again) a clear blue digital and the conception indicator is still at 2-3 weeks. I should be 6+1. I'm thinking the worse and going into panic mode.

mrssunshinexxx · 01/11/2019 07:00

@Blizy I thought they didn't go any higher than showing 3+
Do you have an early scan booked ?

Stop peeing on them! Xx

mrssunshinexxx · 01/11/2019 07:05

I rang last week to book in for an early scan and the man basically told me not to bother before 7 weeks as you can't see much and you won't see a heartbeat which may cause me to stress I'm booked in for 8+1 x

NotMaryWhitehouse · 01/11/2019 07:08

Thanks @Montii and @EmBrum, that's kind

NotMaryWhitehouse · 01/11/2019 07:11

@Glomum77 that's interesting- thank you for sharing, it's does give me some hope! I feel pretty weepy and rubbish. Why is this so hard?!

My only other hope is that I did indeed ovulate late and am therefore only six weeks today/tomorrow. It's going to be a squeaky bum couple of weeks.

Blizy · 01/11/2019 07:11

Yes, I've a scan booked for next Thursday when I should be 7 weeks. The CB test should be showing up 3+ weeks.
I know I need to stop peeing, I'm just so very anxious.

mrssunshinexxx · 01/11/2019 07:20

@Blizy oh gosh I darent pee on another clear blue last one I did showed 2-3 now I'm just praying for the outcome x

NotMaryWhitehouse · 01/11/2019 07:30

@Blizy is it possible your dates could be out by a few days? As in, you ovulated a few days later than you think? Do you do BBT?

Stormtrooper76 · 01/11/2019 07:31

Hi,
Sorry late to the party! Due 30th June. First pregnancy and taken a long while to conceive so fairly anxious about it sticking. Hope all your beans are sticky!

Blizy · 01/11/2019 08:42

NotMaryWhitehouse I didn't track bbt, I'm just going by my edd.

MsMiaWallace · 01/11/2019 09:04

Does anyone else wish they were one of those naive pregnant women who just sail through, assume everything is ok so don't worry about a thing!

Squisha82 · 01/11/2019 09:54

@MsMiaWallace absolutely! My colleague is having her first and didn't find out she was pregnant until 10 weeks.... that would have taken away so much worry!!

NotMaryWhitehouse · 01/11/2019 10:07

@MsMiaWallace yes!!!! Eugh, waiting sucks

MsMiaWallace · 01/11/2019 10:08

I know it's common but I can't imagine not knowing until later with all the symptoms.

BabyBird20 · 01/11/2019 13:10

I had my early scan today! Soo happy to see a healthy little bean and a good heart beat!! I thought I was 7 weeks and its measuring 7+4!! 😍😍

Due end of June/start of July 2020
Smiffette · 01/11/2019 13:18

@Babybird20 congratulations that's lovely!
Window to the womb is who I've booked mine with on the 10th! I should be 8+6 then!

Blizy · 01/11/2019 13:47

Ahhh lovely Babybird

BabyBird20 · 01/11/2019 14:51

Thanks both! It was such a huge relief, I cried! @Smiffette window to the womb were lovely! They have so many different scans on offer but not too pushy to book more. Will probably end up having another later on though!

Squisha82 · 01/11/2019 15:00

@BabyBird20 wow that's great! Not too sure what I'm seeing but I'm super happy for you
