@dinosauraddict I'm not surprised you're angry you should put a complaint in. @yvonne1988 most of my house is grey too lol but I'm having a grey pram and probably grey wallpaper in babies room as I've seen a couple I like so I need some colourful cushions and blankets etc to break it up lol

Yvonne1988 · 02/10/2019 21:17

@jesskir89 eventually I think ours will be going in our eldests room. He's on his way to 16 and isn't allowed to stay here when his dad's not. If it's a boy great its blue with marvel paper. If it's a girl it will get some pink somewhere. Definitely hope to get a pram in a stereotypical colour lol

Jesskir89 · 02/10/2019 22:23

@yvonne1988 not long til you find out :) my mum has booked a week off work next month to decorate my nursery for me

maybenextmonth · 03/10/2019 06:14

If you can then I would definitely recommend it @MissPepper8

Yeah I know what you mean @Jesskir89 but I do like a bit of grey and white and figured if i just buy a few things, other people can get gender specific clothes when it's born. Hmm. I still have another week to decide!

On another note, has anyone been getting SI joint pain? Like stabbing pain in either side of your pelvis, at the back, either side of the bottom of your spine? I've had it on and off, but last night was agony and I couldn't lay down or sit back. Sleeping was awful. Anyone have any tips on how to relieve it?

Jesskir89 · 03/10/2019 06:33

@maybenextmonth you'll probably decide on the day :) and no hun just ligament pain. Have you spoken to your midwife?

sep30 · 03/10/2019 08:46

@maybenextmonth I've been having it on and off, I've found pilates to be a saviour for it, it was agony the other night, was up at 3am stretching on the floor, luckily had pilates the next day and it's gone again. Or pregnancy yoga!

Dinosauraddict · 03/10/2019 09:17

Just got out scan and baby is ok. So relieved that I am literally sobbing.

MockingJay27 · 03/10/2019 09:44

@Dinosauraddict bless you that is brilliant news, so happy for you

sep30 · 03/10/2019 09:50

@Dinosauraddict such great news 🙏🏼🙏🏼x

Jesskir89 · 03/10/2019 10:20

@dinosauraddict brilliant news! Have they determined what's wrong yet?

ineedanotherholiday · 03/10/2019 10:30

@Dinosauraddict great news! Hope they manage to ease your pain now x

Cariad80 · 03/10/2019 11:31

Great news @Dinosauraddict so please for you!

@maybenextmonth I have and its horrible talked to the midwife who had me straight in to the physio and that's helping.
The exercise she gave me which really helped was sit in a chair cross you legs and cup your top knee and draw it up to you shoulder direction...also cat cow or child pose if your familiar with yoga? If its painful to stand up rock your pelvis back and forth before standing...hope that helps! X

blondie87 · 03/10/2019 12:21

Great news @Dinosauraddict.

maybenextmonth · 03/10/2019 12:51

Thanks for your advice ladies, when I asked the midwife she just told me to go careful when getting in and out of the car - didn't make much sense to me that that was her only advice. I've had a few weeks off Pilates but am going back tonight so fingers crossed that will help. I've also been trying some of the stretches you mention. I need to remember to do them when it doesn't hurt, as last night I couldn't even raise my legs and had to get my husband to help me move! I'm so scared about how bad this could get - we're not even half way yet!

whiskersonkittenss · 03/10/2019 14:16

think I can feel my boy moving around now. so weird. I'm 18+1.

Jesskir89 · 03/10/2019 14:33

@whiskersonkittenss you probably can now that's Brill :) I thought I did the other day but think it was just wind lol I'm nearly 16 week so hopefully I will soon

whiskersonkittenss · 03/10/2019 14:52

@Jesskir89 it's soo strange! it's unlike any feeling I've had before. I can feel 'something' moving but I think I'm still in shock that I'm even having a baby so until he's in my arms I won't believe it Grin

Yvonne1988 · 03/10/2019 15:24

Iv been feeling it more and more since the start of the week. Last night was a proper felt like it was doing a flip kind of movement. I'm only 15+6. It's alot lower than where the gas comes now . But it is my 2nd

DerbyshireGirly · 03/10/2019 16:23

@Dinosauraddict brilliant news!

@whiskersonkittenss @Jesskir89 @Yvonne1988 I think I've just started feeling it too! Had a really faint tickley/feathery feeling for a couple of days and was wondering "is it?". But had a couple of stronger flippy feelings today which just can't be anything else. I'm 16+0. So exciting!!

maybenextmonth · 03/10/2019 16:25

For you who can feel movement already, where do you feel it? Is it low down or up nearer belly button? I haven't had anything yet and I'm 18 weeks tomorrow! Annoying!

Yvonne1988 · 03/10/2019 16:33

@maybenextmonth lower down.

ineedanotherholiday · 03/10/2019 18:01

I think I've started feeling it too,
Only 15 weeks but light ticking, lottery movements I've been feeling for the last week and like something is moving very lightly.

Mines been a mixture of lower, I would say the highest had been in line with my belly button but it's been all over, both sides of belly and middle.

ineedanotherholiday · 03/10/2019 18:02

Fluttery not lottery ha

Jesskir89 · 03/10/2019 18:21

@whiskersonkittenss I feel the same! I've got past the stage I'm at now previously and sadly lost so I'm still anxious. @DerbyshireGirly that's lovely :)

sep30 · 03/10/2019 22:53

@maybenextmonth my movements are really low down under my belly button but pretty central! Started feeling them last Thursday and only when I'm sitting/lying down. I think the feel like little muscle spasm/twitches, very bizarre, but also very comforting!
