Ugh my sickness is back again today, I had such a lovely week without it last week 😫 good job I still carry sick bags with me!

I’m in Ireland too and got one pair of jeans in new look, but then the others online from asos. my friend swears by next jeans. h&m are always miles too long on me! 5’2!

Hey all glad to see an active thread ❤️ I'm 12 weeks today and despite my geriatric age all looking well.

I have my scan tomorrow. I'm so nervous! I'll be 11 weeks 6 days but they may change that

Anyone else got a big age gap? My son will be 13 when baby is born 😬 he's very excited

@InOmniaParatus13 sorry to hear the sickness has returned. Mine seems to be coming and going at the moment too. Was hoping I'd be over it by now . Hope your scan went well.
I walked a lot yesterday (maybe about 10 miles but I didn't have my Fitbit on to check) and boy was it a struggle. Such painful hips/pelvis and an achy bump area afterwards . I don't think I got that until 30+ weeks last time but maybe my previous pregnancy has done some damage. I did suffer with my pelvis/hips when walking any distance for months after having DS and I really should've seen someone about it. Anyone else getting early aches and pains?

@happylass I’m with you on the hip and pelvic pain, my god I’ve walked 8 miles today and I felt it so bad! It’s also worse for me at night and when bending over, not fun at all! Sorry to hear your sickness is coming and going to, I feel your pain!
My scan is tomorrow when I’ll be 14 weeks, I’m so excited to see my wee one again!

Anyone had the triple test at York District Hospital on this thread? I had my scan and bloods done a week ago last Thursday and not heard anything yet so I'm hoping that's a good sign but it said 3-10 days for phone call if high risk and I've had 2 missed calls today from a no ID number and I'm worrying. Is it the lab that calls you all the antenatal clinic?

Good luck @InOmniaParatus13! I have my scan today today at 3.30. I don't know how I can keep myself busy until then 😩. I'm 11 +6 according to an early scan but will see where they put me today

Time is going sooooo slow today! Doesn’t help that I feel so sick too, not sure if it’s nerves or morning sickness to be honest!
Need to get the bus to town soon, dreading it as no doubt I’ll have to get off and be sick 🤢

I’m trying to eat before I leave for my scan, but my god I’m so nervous! Just hope baby is okay 🙏🏻

I’m at the hospital now, they told me I could go for half a wee, that wasn’t easy 😂

Baby is perfect!! He or she kept rolling over and then sliding backwards haha!

The sonographer said woah baby is huge are you over 12 weeks hahaha, measuring between 14+1 and 14+4

@InOmniaParatus13 congrats on your scan! Great pic. I was told I could do half a wee as I had to be scanned 3 times because baby wasn’t in the right position and my bladder was bursting by the end. I didn’t trust myself to be able to stop though so I just held it all in

@Ginny1234 have you heard anymore about your test results? I’m not at York but I was told 2-3 working days for a phone call from ante natal if high risk, otherwise a letter if low risk. I know it’s difficult but try not to worry - no caller ID could be anyone. I’ve been checking my phone every 5 minutes myself though!

@happylass I got the call in the end. High risk as I was expecting really because of my age (41) but all of the individual measurements are within the normal range so wasn't expecting it to be as high as 1:25. Still good odds though I guess, I've never won a bet on a horse with those odds anyway 😉🐎

My scan went great too, we were unable to get the combined test in the end as baby was being awkward and the sonographer couldn't get the measurements so back for a blood test in a few weeks. Other than that it was perfect, got to see baby twice as we had to give it two goes for the combined test!
