@InOmniaParatus13 omg same here baby was being a little monkey and wouldn't move out of the position it was in 🙈 15 minutes it took to get it to change lol. Anyway supposed to be 11 weeks and 6 days and I'm actually 13 weeks and 3 days! I've skipped like a whole week! She said you're definitely not 11 weeks

@happylass I think you did the better option not going for half a wee, I really struggled to stop, then ended up drinking an extra 2 pints before going in so I was fit to burst 😂

@Ginny1234 sorry to hear you’re high risk, they seem like good odds all things considered though :).

@S082018 thank you lovely! It was so amazing to see baby doing back flips and moving around, it looked like they were waving at one point too, I’m so in love 😍

@PixieLoo thank you, I’m glad your scan went well too! Bless your baby being awkward, the wee rascal! I’m so jealous you got to see your baby twice!

Every time the sonographer tried to take the Nuchal measurement, baby would keep flipping upside down 😂 we got there in the end! I currently have several due dates as I was measuring between 14+1 and 14+4 so anytime between 7th-11th February 😂 I had to laugh as the baby was using my hip bones to propel him or herself backwards, no wonder my hips hurt so much haha.

@InOmniaParatus13 yes I was so happy we got to go in a second time and see him/her again! (I'm convinced it's a boy tbh!) the second time we went in he was wiggling and waving all over the place and kept waving and resting his hand on his head! So cute. It's a shame we couldn't get the NT test but I'm just so happy we got to see the little bean wiggle around it feels so much more 'real' now! Our dates were spot on so I'm 12+6 today with a due date of 19/02/20!

Great news on the scans ladies but sorry to hear the babies were being so unco-operative! I was sent away for a walk twice as it was impossible to get the measurements. At one point s/he was apparently standing completely upright. We got there in the end though.
@PixieLoo they couldn't get the measurements in my first pregnancy (although they only tried twice compared to the 3 attempts this time ) so I had the blood test on that occasion.
@Ginny1234 I'm sorry to hear you had the call but as you say good odds. Even better when you think of it as just a 4% risk.

That's great @happylass I'm glad to hear someone else has also had the same issue as me! It's not ideal but I'm just thankful we have a second option of the blood test just have to wait a couple weeks now. I'm happy to hear your happy baby cooperated in the end!

@nzs2019 welcome! I'm also due 11th Feb according to my scan (though it's 14th Feb going by my IVF dates).
@S082018 I would say boy too (that's purely a hunch rather than based on anything scientific!!).
I've yet to book a gender scan but I plan to get one in before I go back to work next month. I've been thinking boy all along but the sonographer said 'she' when doing my dating scan so it's got me wondering 🤔
I'm also going to use the gender scan as a chance to tell DS. He's only 2.5 so he won't fully understand but I don't want anyone else to say anything to him before we do. Has anyone who already has children told them yet?

Hi everyone, can I join please? I've been lurking and haven't really wanted to get involved any earlier due to a MMC last year.

I'm due on 15th Feb according to my dating scan and from my NIPT I know I'm having a boy.

Does anyone else feel like they are taking steps backwards in terms of nausea? I thought I'd turned a corner but the past couple of days I feel so sick!

@S082018 that’s a gorgeous photo! I think your wee one is a boy too, the forehead looks quite similar to my scan! You will find out the sex before me as they moved my appointment to 12pm ☺️

@thecherryontop my sickness disappeared for a week then came back with a vengeance at 13+4! I’m 14+3 now and have had no sickness today so here’s hoping it stays away!

@InOmniaParatus13 that's interesting as I'm 13 + 4 today, fingers crossed that like you it disappears again.

Has anyone here had SPD in this or their previous pregnancy/ies? -I had it bad during my last and ended up on crutches, I'd hoped i might escape this time but the last few days I've definitely had twinges and notice it at night if I've walked a lot during the day... think I'm going to order myself one of the giant wrap around pillows!

What does everyone think my bean is?
First pic is 11 weeks and everyone said girl based on skull! But nub in the second pic of my 12 week scan says boy!

I feel like everyone’s scan pic is MUCH clearer than mine... I’m sure mine is too rubbish for there to be any chance of working out if it’s a girl or a boy, though maybe I’m just crap at reading them. Attaching in case anyone has any opinions!

@CmGH which new look did you find maternity clothes in? Do any of the Nexts do maternity in store do you know? I will have to shopping, but I don't want to be going around to different shopping centers if I don't have too! Thanks

Congrats on all the scan photos, only two more sleeps until mine!! It has been the slowest week ever as well after two short weeks this one is dragging in!!
