@bessie84 I’m 19w and same size as you. Maybe a bit bigger. When you say 5th bump, do you mean 5th pregnancy?? This is my second and I’m a LOT bigger than first time round. I’m hoping it slows down soon though as I’m not gonna be able to move!

yelyahyoung · 06/09/2019 11:53

HiSmile
I am due 25th Feb with my 1st! Like others on here, I hope they don’t arrive late for the leap year bless them! This is my 4th pregnancy and the furthest I’ve ever gotten. Never made it to scanning stage. Everything is going amazingly well, baby is super wriggly and I am feeling them more and more. What a wonderful feeling. Can’t wait for the proper kicks so my partner can feel them!
My partner and I got pregnant with this baby within 2 weeks of miscarrying. Miracle babyStar
Which means I haven’t had a period, or much bleeding at all for that matter (even when I miscarried it was 1.5 days and very light) since MARCH. It’s now bloody September! Amazing hahaha

Hope all is going well with everyone else’s February babiesGrin xx

InOmniaParatus13 · 06/09/2019 12:33

@bessie84 you look amazing!

I’m 18 weeks today and still don’t have a bump, I just look like I’ve eaten too much!

Been feeling little man kick and move lots which is the most amazing feeling! Still in agony with my SPD but I’m just taking it day by day. I have a busy week next week as I see the consultant Monday then the haematologist Tuesday, more than likely going to end up back on blood thinning injections, but if it keeps me and little man safe that’s all that matters!

@yelyahyoung congrats on your pregnancy 😊

Hope everyone is doing well Grin

hazandduck · 06/09/2019 17:50

Ah glad there are others sporting huge bumps! I’m 18+1 weeks and it is huge. I caved and ordered some maternity leggings this week, finally going to give up my jeans for autumn/winter I think! And hide under lots of baggy jumpers!

Cupcakes1234 · 07/09/2019 08:07

I'm 17 weeks today and sleep is becoming difficult even though I'm so tired. My hips ache when I lay on either side for too long and just general disturbed sleep and taking ages to fall asleep. I don't remember it being this hard on my body first time around. I'm not really feeling any movements yet which is not doing anxiety any good but I have my midwife appointment Tuesday so looking forward to that and our gender scan next Saturday. Hope everyone else is having a better time though

doublebarrellednurse · 07/09/2019 11:13

@yelyahyoung welcome 👋🏻 I am due the 24th with my 2nd (but also 4th pregnancy). I was originally due the 25th and that's my birthday!

Hope all goes smoothly for you

doublebarrellednurse · 07/09/2019 11:15

After all the chat on SPD I now have sciatica (oh my name has changed from beccarocksbaby)

hazandduck · 07/09/2019 17:14

Oh no @doublebarrellednurse I have the sciatica too! Is there anything we can do for it??

I am the same @Cupcakes1234 my pelvis and hips are just so so achy! 😩

This is my bump...18+2, pic taken this morning and a pic of my DD kissing the bump.

thank you for kind comments on bump - comments dont half bug me sometimes. its never ending.

some lovely bump pics :-)

@sulkysukey - you will pop soon. until then, enjoy it lovely.

im with you other ladies, spd, pgp, hips, sleep, still wee'ing loads, just struggling altogether. im forever in a very warm bath - every night these days, just to ease muscles / aches / pains.

@hazandduck - caved too, bought maternity tights, leggings and dresses - is it just me or they mega expensive? i went to boohoo, newlook and got a maternity coat from george asda.

hazandduck · 07/09/2019 20:03

Yes for what they are they’re expensive!! I’ve just gone for H&M £9.99 over bump leggings! Hoping they aren’t see through at that price 🙈🤣

People keep saying how huge I am...but DH rightly pointed out...I’m nearly half way through. It’s totally normal to have a bump by now! I weighed myself and I’ve put on about 4lbs which isn’t too bad. I gained 2 stone with my daughter so I’m about on target to gain roughly the same by the end if I gain about a pound a week or so. Don’t want to become obsessed by it and just want to enjoy it as much as I can!

hazandduck · 07/09/2019 20:04

Ps boohoo have some lovely maternity dresses don’t they! I’ve got a few in my basket and also want to get a cheesy Christmas jumper or two from there haha. X

sunflower2020 · 07/09/2019 21:58

Hi everyone 👋🏻 congrats on all your pregnancies! So cute seeing the scans 👶🏼
I'm 15w3d pregnant with our first baby, due date is 26 Feb 2020.
So lovely seeing all the bumps, can't wait for mine. Think I'm finally starting to show a little today, but baby seems quite comfortable on my bladder mainly 😅
Also, maybe someone can advise; My 16 week midwife appt was booked at my booking appt when I wasn't quite sure how far along I was, so just noticed it's scheduled for when I'm just over 19 weeks. Has anyone else had this or is it important to have it at 16 weeks? Thanks :)

Cupcakes1234 · 08/09/2019 12:17

@sunflower2020 congratulations! I didn't know how far I was either and was put 11 days ahead so they advised me to move my 16 week appointment forward too. My midwife wasn't actually in last week when I was 16 weeks so I'm seeing her Tuesday at 17 weeks

Alarae · 08/09/2019 16:24

Popping back in after a while!

Currently 16+1 and had an early gender scan to reveal we are having a little girl! While I would have been happy with either I was a bit apprehensive of a boy (mainly girl friends growing up, two sisters etc) and DH and I couldn't decide on a boy name at all! No need to fuss through the lists anymore, which I am selfishly thankful for!

Got to listen to the heartbeat as well which the sonographer said was nice and strong. She also did a wellbeing check and said everything looks perfect, so along with low risk blood results my anxiety has all but disappeared!

She was also extremely active during the scan and did a roly poly while we were trying to catch her legs! Might be a future gymnast Grin

Cupcakes1234 · 09/09/2019 08:23

Congratulations @Alarae. We have our gender scan on Saturday at 18 weeks. I can't wait! We have one little boy already but the only names we can agree on is girls names too lol.

bessie84 · 09/09/2019 09:22

sooooooo nervous - got my 20 week scan this afternoon. 4.15pm. feel sick with nerves x

morning everyone x

sunflower2020 · 09/09/2019 09:36

@alarae congrats on your little girl! Ours was also quite the gymnast at the first scan, made the pregnancy finally seem real!
@cupcakes1234 and @bessie84 I bet you guys are so excited! My 20 week scan isn't until 10th October 😑 pregnancy is such a waiting game!

hazandduck · 09/09/2019 11:34

Nice to see everyone is doing ok, good luck for today @bessie84 mine is a week on Thursday.

I’ve been generally anxiety free but had a wobble yesterday, a friend of mine told me as she was holding my daughter that she thought her baby has slapped cheek! I spent all last night crying and panicking but midwife said unless myself or dd show signs of being unwell not to panic or see the GP yet.

Hope everyone else is bumping along nicely, my best friend told me yesterday that she is pregnant due in May! Very early but I am sooo excited. And weirdly I had two dreams last week she was pregnant...I text her and it prompted her to do a text...looks like I’m psychic whilst pregnant 🤣

Cupcakes1234 · 09/09/2019 16:14

@sunflower2020 I can't wait for Saturday lol. I have my 20 week scan on the 27th so not too long to wait for that either 😊🙌🏼, it's sad knowing it'll be the last one before I meet him or her

doublebarrellednurse · 09/09/2019 21:24

I'm so exhausted this week! Am 16 weeks today and apparently baby is having a growth spurt and I am bolloxed!

bessie84 · 10/09/2019 07:24

20 week scan was wonderful yesterday teatime. had a lovely lady who scanned me. i didnt go with an over full bladder like my 12 week scan so was a lot more comfortable and she explained stuff as she was going. she really eased my nerves cos i was so scared. hes perfect, definitely a boy

Dweebette · 10/09/2019 07:34

@doublebarrellednurse snap! I'm 15+6 today and exhaustion has returned tenfold!! Struggled to stay awake in work yesterday.

I'm having a silly thing this morning. I don't have much of a bump yet, just look like I've gained a bit of weight, but I'm so uncomfortable that I bought some latent tights and dresses and I'm wearing one today and I just feel silly. Honestly I reckon no one will even notice it's a maternity dress but I know and I feel like I'm being overly dramatic or something. Silly I know but I blame hormones for irrationality

Cupcakes1234 · 10/09/2019 07:43

As of today I'm 17 weeks and 3 days. I have my midwife appointment today and I can't wait to hear baby's heartbeat. I'm so nervous as I'm not feeling anything and my symptoms are easing so I don't even feel pregnant anymore, apart from my ever growing stomach!

sunflower2020 · 10/09/2019 08:03

@bessie84 must have been lovely seeing your boy! I haven't bought anything yet, but received a few socks/toys etc. Think I will start buying when I know the gender or when I see a good sale ;)

@dweebette I know what you mean, I'm not showing, but just feel like I've had a large meal. I'm sure the dress looks lovely on you 😊

@cupcakes1234 I'm sure all will be fine! I got terrible spots everywhere in my first trimester, they seem to be disappearing, so I think we should be enjoying the symptoms easing😅 but I worry a bit too, especially since I haven't got a bump yet 😑.

Guys, fingers and toes crossed for me please today as I've got a job interview 😄 been desperately trying to get a job before I start showing, it's been the most stressful thing ever!

hazandduck · 10/09/2019 12:19

Good luck for today @sunflower2020 fingers crossed you get it!

Lovely news on your scan @bessie84 I can’t wait for mine now.

Hope all is well @Cupcakes1234 and you enjoy hearing little one’s heartbeat.

Haha @Dweebette silly moments like that are part and parcel of being pregnant I think! I veer drastically between thinking my bump is too big to thinking it’s shrunk! I think mine depends on the volume of bread I have consumed 🤣

I was at a christening on Sunday and nobody even realised I was pregnant! Apart from my friends who knew. So then I was paranoid that my bump wasn’t big enough...it totally depends on what I wear though.
