Thread six for those of us due in or very closely around January 2020!

We found out we’re having a little boy today - due 9th of Jan! Hubby and I are over the moon, as his big sister

Hi new thread! I haven't been on here for a while as some of the comments in the early days made my anxiety sky high, so took a little step back 😩 But came on today to see a new thread!

Checking in - baby #2 is due 7th Jan, DD is nearly 2, and finding out what we're having tomorrow. Super excited & genuinely happy either way!

Got my 16 week midwife appointment next week, hoping to hear the heartbeat, she has done it both times before. Having my anomaly scan at 18+4 with fetal medicine and got the fetal heart scan appointment through this morning but will need to move it as I'm on holiday when it's currently booked for. Been quiet on the last thread as found the 6 month anniversary hard.

Ahh all of you announcing your babies gender is making shakey on my decision to keep it a surprise 🙈

Babies 2 and 3 due 9thJan but likely to be December babies at best. DS will be 4.5

We're on holiday and he keeps telling me his room is the babies room because it has two beds in it 😍

I’m sorry to hear that @FirstTim3Mummy, does a low lying placenta cause spotting? Have you spoken to your midwife?

Apparently that is what they suspect the cause of the bleeding.

Everybody talking about a 16 week appointment and scan - is this normal on NHS as my next isn't until 20 weeks? Last was at 12 weeks?

Firsttime 16 weeks midwife apt but most 16 week scans are private ones people have chosen to pay for - we paid for one so we could find out the gender earlier than the 20 week scan

And a few of us are getting extra-care ones at 16/18 as our babies are little beasties

Expecting baby no. 1 on 1 Jan 2020, found out through the NIPT test that she's a girl ❤️

I had bleeding all through the first trimester FirstTim3Mummy and have now been told my placenta is low, not sure if the two are related though as I've not had any bleeding for a few weeks now.

decided to wait for the surprise and not have a gender scan. Don't know if the decision could stick...

@Kinsters sorry to hear about your placenta is lying low. Keeping everything crossed that it makes its way up... it does sound like you're in the best hands though.

I got chatting to a lady at a trade show yesterday with a joolz geo 2 travel system. She even let me have a little push 🙈 think I'm swaying towards one of those now as opposed to a joie dlx chrome. Has anyone else had one or is thinking of getting one?

Checking in... due 5 Jan with baby number 2. DS1 is 4 and we found out this week that this baby will be a little girl.

I've been keeping an eye on the threads but haven't joined in until now as I didn't want to 'jynx it'. (Totally irrational behavior!)

DC2 due 25 Jan. Probably having a planned CS so think we won't find out the sex so we have an element of surprise at least 🙂

Hi all, checking in

Expecting DC2 and 3, due date 28th Jan but will probably have a scheduled C-section early Jan. I already have a DS who's 2 and we know from NIPT that there's at least one boy twin in there! I'm due my next scan on 20th Aug so will hopefully find out sex of twin 2 then 😮

Counting down to a 2 week holiday starting on Friday - can't wait!
