Hope you are well @TwittleBee. (Decaf on name change)

Twittlebee · 04/12/2019 10:37

Love the name change Decaf

I saw this little baby doing all well on my latest scan on Monday. He is very wriggly and actually felt him move last night too. Still having spotting and cramping but it looks like it may all be down to a UTI so that is fixable.

Hope everyone is doing well? Babies' first Christmas in 3 weeks! x

IVEgotthetinselBITCHES · 04/12/2019 11:50

That is amazing twittle! How many weeks are you now?

Twittlebee · 04/12/2019 12:52

Only 11 weeks today, so long way to go still

DustyDoorframes · 04/12/2019 14:42

Over a quarter of the way there! And so exciting you've felt movement!!!

IVEgotthetinselBITCHES · 04/12/2019 14:55

I'm sure it will fly by Smile

I am currently lost trying to juggle poorly dc, two uni essays and christmas prep....my house is becoming some kind of assault course

kyles101 · 05/12/2019 22:11

Very exciting twittle!! An early summer baby, wonderful! You won't get too hot and you can enjoy some hopefully lovely weather before winter kicking in. Second trimester was the best, nearly there 😘

iano · 15/12/2019 16:25

How are you doing @Twittlebee ? Lovely to hear you could feel baby move.

IVEgotthetinselBITCHES · 24/12/2019 08:30

Just wanted to check in @TwittleBee hope all is well

Twittlebee · 25/12/2019 07:21

Merry Christmas everyone, hope you're all going to have wonderful days with your babies x

@IVEgotthetinselBITCHES thank you, things are going well. Can feel little boy moving about now. Bit worried though as placenta not fully attached, which is why I'm bleeding so much. Also Consultant said to expect another preemie, most likely earlier than Roy. As soon as I show signs of labour theyll do a section as they dont want to risk me contracting so soon after an EMCS due to the risks of rupturing being so high. So that's all scary. But if I make it to 39 weeks then 22.06.20 is our ERCS date.

Motherofatruck · 31/12/2019 13:06

@TwittleBee I've just read yours and Roy's story and couldn't pass without offering my sincerest condolences. My daughter, Amia, was stillborn 9 years ago. I just wanted to say that although you will never stop grieving for Roy, or your other precious baby that you lost before him, it does get easier in a way... Its not even that you feel less sad, or that you think of them less (because you don't) it just becomes second nature to include your babies in things and to grieve in your own way. I hope that christmas was gentle for you. The first is the hardest Flowers All the best wishes to you and your family. Keeping everything crossed for you and hoping your pregnancy goes as smoothly as possible and brings you all the happiness you deserve.

kyles101 · 31/12/2019 21:19

Happy new year to you fabulous twittle and your wonderful and growing family. X x

happydays00 · 25/01/2020 21:56

@TwittleBee just dropped in to see how you are doing and how your pregnancy is progressing? I think of you and little Roy often x

THAT90sBITCH · 31/01/2020 21:57

@TwittleBee also wondering how you are? (Decaf on ANOTHER name change)

TwittleBee · 13/02/2020 09:50

Hi, thank you for thinking of me and Roy still ladies x

Doing as well as can be. Pregnancy is still progressing and expecting another big baby. Being monitored so closely that I have hope we will make it to my ERCS date!

How are you all and your babies? All starting to think about weaning I bet?

happydays00 · 13/02/2020 16:49

Hi @TwittleBee , great to hear you're doing ok and pregnancy is progressing nicely! When are you due?

Yes, thinking about weaning but also avoiding starting it properly. I think it's a mixed bag: some are excited and looking forward to it, some of us are dreading the mess and chaos again!

TwittleBee · 13/02/2020 19:12

@happydays00 26th June but planning a repeat section between 38-39 weeks so actually only 18 weeks to go tops! Really positive I might actually make it to that point this time too!

Haha I actually loved weaning, mess and all! Although that was when we discovered DS's anaphylactic reaction to fish which wasnt nice!

Any ideas what you're planning on for first foods?

kyles101 · 14/02/2020 01:12

Hi @Twittlebee !! So pleased to hear from you. June sounds a nice time to have a baby, you'll hopefully have a lovely summer together. Weaning just around the corner here- hopefully the warm weather will start to make an appearance so I can just hose him off in the garden 😂 x x

iano · 19/02/2020 22:01

Not long to go then! I'm so pleased to hear you're feeling positive.
DS2 has had his first breadstick and I realised I'd forgotten how messy the whole thing is Confused

TwittleBee · 08/04/2020 18:26

It feels only right to update this thread with the announcement of Roy's little brother's arrival.

Another 28 weeker weighing the same at 2lbs 13oz.

Thankfully no signs of sepsis this time around, a very different NICU journey so far.

Its Day 5 today and Day 5 is when Roy died but this time we are hitting milestones with feeding and seeing other gains too.
