Hi @TwittleBee, I cant believe your hospital, how can you have a baby so early and them not check bloods and to then be so unsupportive when you have face-face with them.

I have my fingers crossed for you, for some answers, and for you TTC.
Hope all of you are managing.
Xxx

Thank you, due date today and scattering of Roy's ashes. Feeling so heartbroken but surprisingly still capable of getting on with the day.

Hope you're all doing well. Must be loads of babies now!

Such a lovely place we scattered him.

DustyDoorframes · 04/10/2019 08:03

I can't even imagine! All kinds of strange xxx

iano · 07/10/2019 19:10

What a beautiful place to scatter Roy's ashes.
How are you generally @TwittleBee?

TwittleBee · 08/10/2019 16:00

Thank you @iano - is a lovely place.

Generally okay, actively TTC again - last month was hard when AF turned up, I was pretty inconsolable for the whole time of AF as I really thought we had timed it all right - need to remind myself it took us over a year to get to Roy's pregnancy from start of TTC.

We went on BBC news to highlight the issues of sepsis - that was hard but I am glad we done it.

I have a new bereavement MW who actually is helping me and is here for me and she will be my MW when I conceive again too (and she is from a different hospital so I wont have to return to Colchester!)

Hope everyone else is okay? All mums and babies good? Have they all arrived now?

iano · 08/10/2019 18:05

I'm sorry AF showed up. This must be a very difficult process for you. I'm glad you have some decent support from the bereavement MW now. That's good news.

I hope you won't have to wait too long.

Well done for speaking to the bbc. That must have been hard.

I think all the babies have arrived now. I'm losing track a bit now that my own has arrived.

DustyDoorframes · 08/10/2019 18:59

TTC can do your head in at the best of times, fair enough to find it tough going!!
Brilliant to hear about your bereavement midwife, and that she will stick with you for the next pregnancy. That makes so much sense!
And congrats re the BBC thing- hard to do, but so worthwhile.
I think all the September babies turned up by the end of September, incredibly. Very punctual thread. A few tricky first few days/weeks, but I think everyone is doing well now (although I'm not on Facebook so not up to speed with the people who are only on there)

IVEgottheDECAF · 13/10/2019 09:01

Well done on the BBC thing @TwittleBee, its a wonderful thing to try to raise awareness.

I am sorry that you havent had a BFP yet but i feel you will get it and it must be a weight of your mind to have the new MW and know you wont have to go to Colchester again for your care. Maybe knowing that will help your body with TTC
