@Impatienceismyvirtue thank you for your message sorry you are in the situation too, I'm not on the Facebook group yet, I might join after my 12 week scan on Friday.

Kinsters · 29/06/2019 14:39

Aww bubble! We call ours Babi which is Malay for pig because it should be born in the year of the pig (plus the obvious similarity to baby). And yeah, I love thinking about names! We're waiting until we get our DNA test back week to confirm genetically it's ok and what sex it is then we'll start thinking about it properly!

megganonion lovely pictures and that must have been such a sweet moment telling your boys. I have no idea whether it looks like a boy or girl - I think the thing I think is the nub isn't actually the nub because whenever I see it it looks like a girl one.

Cindy61 · 29/06/2019 14:48

@Kinsters lovely name!! My EDD is 13 Jan, still the year of pig, which is also DH's year. Good luck with the test result. I'll be thinking about you and Babi xx

SylviaUndata · 29/06/2019 16:04

Hi, checking in on the new thread. I have an EDD of 13/01 ( due date buddies! @cindy61). 12w on Monday - morning sickness has been pretty bad but seems to be easing, still on the beige diet though - just working my way through a big bag of pop corn. Scan is not for another week.

SleepingStandingUp · 29/06/2019 17:34

idk if anyone's heard of durian Dr Karl Kennedy grew it but everyone said it smelt baf
That's my limit I'm afraid.

@megganonion I adore Ezekiel and Zeke but Dh did a hard no 😭

We like Lilyana, Arianna, Ariella and Arabella lol. All super frilly names altho Gretchen is slowly growing on me. I imagine a sensible 13 yo not a baby tho

Boys were stuck. Quinn or Lachlan maybe.

SleepingStandingUp · 29/06/2019 17:36

Baby was Guppy but now there's two so it's Bubble and Guppy in honour of Bubble Guppies the show with all these little mermaid / mermen kids who go to school and have adventures lol. DS was Shrimp cos that's what the Internet picture looked like at 6 ish weeks when we found out I was pregnant

megganonion · 29/06/2019 17:41

Oh @sleepingstandingup i love lachlan but hubbys cousins called her little boy lachlan last year she also has a ruben another one of my favorites.
@Kinsters i thought girl myself going by nub but i think skull shape is very similar to ds2 12week scan.
I am at the point now i will think ill be surrounded by boy all my life wouldnt know what to do if it actually is a girl 😂 dh is so set on a girl hes worse than me!!

Mumof4andahalf · 29/06/2019 17:45

@SleepingStandingUp we have Quinn on our list but for a girl, I love it 💕
I love unisex names for a girl so if anyone else has suggestions?!

Babynameseek · 29/06/2019 17:47

I consider Eden unisex, DH says no for a boy

Mumof4andahalf · 29/06/2019 17:58

@Babynameseek I love Eden for a girl it's so pretty

SleepingStandingUp · 29/06/2019 18:03

Name change fail lol. DS writes comics and one of his characters is Eden Rose so they'll likely be the girls middle names.

Cannyhandleit · 29/06/2019 18:03

Quinn is in my top 2 girl names. We have a boys name that was a contender for ds1 &2 that dp is pretty set on but I'm not 100%

MoominMantra · 29/06/2019 18:08

I like Liberty for a girl and the only two boy names I (think) I like are Gabriel and Linus.

Chips84 · 29/06/2019 18:13

Checking in, baby #1, EDD 20/01/2019, 11 weeks.
Dating scan is booked for 8 jul. Very excited but also nervous.
Also, my stomach has suddenly popped in the last week. There is definitely no hiding that I'm pregnant anymore. Surely it's too soon for that?!

Mumof4andahalf · 29/06/2019 18:28

@Chips84 so is mine! I'm so excited!
@MoominMantra Liberty is lovely 💕

Mumof4andahalf · 29/06/2019 18:32

I've had Tori for a girl for 15 years now, I prefer names that can't be shortened, also love Wren, Quinn and Ellis.
Boys I've got Nothing and I'm convinced this one will be a boy 💙 I'm not finding our though.

Impatienceismyvirtue · 29/06/2019 19:45

My bump has also popped out of nowhere. 13+4 today.

Jan 2020 - Thread 5!!
plipliop · 29/06/2019 19:58

Had a little bit of spotting earlier. No more since then and no cramps or anything. Just trying to stay cool and rest up.

megganonion · 29/06/2019 20:06

@plipliop you havent had an easy few days.. plenty of rest and fingers crossed everything will be ok. My eldest broke his ankle a week before we went to disneyland at easter, he had to be pushed in a wheelchair the entire holiday, however i was able to get him a cast cover in our local pharmacy which really helped, paris in april was very wet and boys can be careless, he has adhd and asd and would be funny with materials aswel.. his cast needed replaced 4 times in 3 weeks as he kept cutting it off, he tolerated the cover fine buth the cast caused major meltdowns, i really hope he never breaks another bone i dont think i could go through it again x

DaisyMay25 · 29/06/2019 20:34

I booked my gender scan! 20th July so three weeks time! My belly has gotten bigger today but not sure if it's bloating, gonna go get maternity jeans tomorrow!
Name wise
Boy: Isaac or Zachary
Girl: Penelope or Brie

SleepingStandingUp · 29/06/2019 21:28

Love Zachary (Zachariah) but DS is has Izaak so....

plipliop · 29/06/2019 21:49

@megganonion thanks! I'm worried about how he will cope if he gets sand in it!

megganonion · 29/06/2019 23:19

@plipliop i never even though about sand 😬😬 i can imagine that would be the worse possible thing, what date is your holiday, depending on the fracture they may only keep him in a cast 2 to 3 weeks and put a wrist strap on him after that, you know the removable velcro one. My mum had foot surgery in january and thats what they done with her and they broke every bone in both her feet to put in metal plates 🤢

Cindy61 · 30/06/2019 01:29

@SleepingStandingUp we have durian in China, air transported from the south. it's like blue cheese, smells awful but tastes nice. People either love or hate it. I haven't tried since BFP. that smell and heightened sense of smell should be interesting xxGrin

Cindy61 · 30/06/2019 01:34

@SylviaUndata hi due date buddy! Luckily, my nausea really eased around week 10. I'm sure you're getting there too! Sour fruits and cold juice worked for me. Xx
