I normally dislike durian but have actually found it strangely appealing since being pregnant (and once the nausea eased)!

Impatienceismyvirtue beautiful bump! I love looking at mine, I'm sure it'll be annoying when it's bigger but for now it's just cute. Is anyone elses bump uneven? Mine pops out more on the left hand side definitely.

Cute bump!

DinoGreen · 30/06/2019 08:09

I’m jealous of these proper looking bumps. I just look chubby and bloated. We’re going on holiday tomorrow and I’m not loving the prospect of wearing a bikini! But haven’t been organised enough to buy a one piece so chubby bikini it shall be!

DaisyMay25 · 30/06/2019 08:52

@DinoGreen I look like I've had a good time at Toby Carvery, no obvious bump

Bentley111 · 30/06/2019 09:10

Awww @Kinsters your bump looks so cute!
My niece told me I look just a bit chubby but not pregnant 😂

Bentley111 · 30/06/2019 09:12

Also love Babi as a name for the bump! At the moment ours is called Elvis as it's due on Elvis's birthday (my DAunt is a huge Elvis fan and was so excited when we told her 😂)

Names so far, for a girl we love Daphne and for a boy it will likely be Jonty (family name).

Boobs hurting so much, time to get maternity bra I think! I'm 9+5, usually a 34d. Want to order online but don't know if I go for usual size or size up or what!? Anyone offer any advice please!!

primarywoodle · 30/06/2019 09:36

@dinogreen i didnt really look pregnant until about 30 weeks last time i felt cheated! Consultant saod cause she was lying transverse until the very last minute

A mum at school has just given birth 10 weeks early (mum and baby are fine) but she didnt really look pregnant either, just like she had a thick waist if that makes sense.

I would love a proper bump this time! Just look like a porker at the moment!

primarywoodle · 30/06/2019 09:37

@morris i would say dont bother ordering an expensive maternity bra yet just get a cheap larger one from a supermarket coz theyll only get bigger!

Morris26 · 30/06/2019 09:54

@primarywoodle thanks, probably a fair point. Gonna have massive boobs I reckon Confused Confused

DaisyMay25 · 30/06/2019 09:58

@Morris26 went to Mothercare for a fitting, somehow I'm the same size!!! They have adjustable ones though so you should only need the same ones throughout pregnancy as the expand as you grow. I got 2 for £30 and they're not horrendously ugly

DaisyMay25 · 30/06/2019 10:10

We just did our Facebook announcement. I didn't wanna make it completely obvious (sone people on my friends list probably won't get it) here is a picture my DH drew for it

@DaisyMay25 super cute!!! Love it!! Xx

McHelenz · 30/06/2019 10:30

Couldn't sleep well last night. Think it's a combination of heat and worrying about my scan tomorrow 😔

MoominMantra · 30/06/2019 10:33

@DaisyMay25 your dh drew this? Very good :)

megganonion · 30/06/2019 10:37

@daisymay that is beautiful!!

SleepingStandingUp · 30/06/2019 11:15

That's really cute @DaisyMay25

DaisyMay25 · 30/06/2019 11:27

Thank you 😊 as you can see my cats are also my babies haha. Yea DH drew it, he draws for a living, that'll be luckily for the nursery!

Kinsters · 30/06/2019 11:55

So cute Daisy! I've also got two cats who are my babies. I'm really interested to see how they'll react to the human baby! One of them is friendly but really nervous and the other isn't nervous at all but also isn't very friendly.

mrscatmad31 · 30/06/2019 11:59

@Daisymay25 that's great! I was worried about my cats before having my DD, especially as one was really child agressive, he's been the best with her! And they loved me being on maternity leave and cooped up on the sofa with her! And they are still my babies too

Kinsters · 30/06/2019 12:07

Aw mrscatmad that's so nice to hear!

DinoGreen · 30/06/2019 15:50

Another cat lady here. I have just the one, he’s nearly 8. When my DS came along 3 years ago he was a bit put out by it but just stayed well out of his way and would come and sit on our laps once DS was down in the evenings etc. Now he’s reached a stage of just about tolerance of DS and will occasionally allow him to stroke him. I don’t think he (cat) will be best pleased by this one’s arrival!

mrscatmad31 · 30/06/2019 16:19

@Kinsters I was so worried, we had a renowned cat behaviourist out to him as he was at that point lunging at my DH every time he left the house and he would stalk well behaved children visitors and attack them, these days he's mellowed so much, if my DD steps on his tail by accident if he sees it's her he still won't scratch her, she has learnt she needs to give him more space than the other two as well (our Tonkinese is very tolerant and my youngest has been with us since he was a day old as he was a handrear)

peanutbaba · 30/06/2019 16:39

@DaisyMay25 what a gorgeous picture! And so original 😀

Hanraa1 · 30/06/2019 17:34
