Just caught up with the thread @MonicaGellerHyphenBing and @MummyBearBoo I am so so sorry!

Hello everyone ! Thought I'd join in - had my 12 week scan today - measuring at 12+4 and due date bought forward to 6th Jan (was 10th Jan first midwife appt!) and OH birthday is on 8th Jan lol!

Was so surreal seeing my baby on the scan. Although baby was being very camera shy and lazy so couldn't do the screening measurements for Down's syndrome etc and have to have a blood test at 16 week midwife appt.

I can't stop staring at my scan picture .... I'm so in love already! X

@Monica , I'm so sorry and I cannot imagine what you're going through. Stay strong and take care of yourself. 😥

I've managed to resist buying and baby stuff (god know how) but treated myself to some bras!

My sister has just got an adorable new kitten so I bought some stuff for her, seeing as though she'll be getting me baby stuff it's just fair!

@Mirana So sorry you are having such a rough time with HG. I had it with my DD and know how awful it is. I found it totally soul destroying (There’s a reason there is 8 years between this pregnancy and my DD 😬) so if you ever want to talk to someone who has been through it, get in touch. And I promise I won’t mention the g word!
Luckily , and to give you some hope, I have been NO WHERE near as ill this time and can actually forget that I am pregnant for hours at a time. I’m still in disbelief!

@Marty93 mine was being naughty too! Took my a few walks and jiggle to get it to move, after 40 minutes we finally got a measurement

Another thread already! Checking in- edd 18/01 so 10 weeks 6 days, mummy to a 21,18,14 and 9 year old so huge gap and I'm old....like really old 😔

@DaisyMay25 was baby in the same position for 40 mins before you got the measurement? I had the exact same at my scan yesterday and I’m now feeling a bit anxious about it.

@40anddoingitagain If by the G word you mean ginger, I did cry down the phone to my Mum 2 days ago that if anyone else suggests ginger to me I'd shove it in quite an uncomfortable place 😂😂 There are a few of us here struggling, I'm just having a bad day with it. I honestly think it's mainly sleep deprivation. Obviously not eating enough has an effect too. My OH works away and we're in a rough patch, haven't seen him in almost 4 weeks so mostly dealing with it alone, lots of people do so fine, I just feel crap! I definitely will drop you a message once the black clouds above my head have departed 😂😂

@Impatienceismyvirtue it had hiccups for bit which was weird to see, it moved to different position and had it's arms in front of its face at one point then curled up! It just wouldn't stretch out at all! I've heard someone babies can be still the entire time and they're probably just having a nap. I'm sure if there was anything to worry about they would've said though and got you back in for another scan

Twin2 was having a nap but the sonographer was mean. She made me lie on my side and then she poked him/her. Like literally poked my tummy with her probe about five times lol. Then when she came to do the measurements she called him a little bugger for moving lol

@SleepingStandingUp haha she shouldn't have annoyed him so much!

EDD: 15th January 2020.

mummybear im so so so sorry. Cant even begin to imagine what i would do with that news its painful enough once. Wish i could say something to make it better

Thank you for your kind words it means the world ❤️ I have lots of support and I have a beautiful DD who will keep me going. We took the baby to the hospital and they will cremate it for us and scatter the ashes in our local garden of remembrance which brings some closure, I couldn’t bring myself to just flush it away.

I will leave this thread now so it can go back to being positive with all your lovely scan photos and updates. Wishing you all well with your babies 💕

Checking in to new thread... EDD 07/01/20 from my dates, making me 12+3 today. Got my scan on Tuesday 🙂 first pregnancy for me x

@DaisyMay25 ahh my little bean wasn't having any of it! Literally too busy napping I think! Eventually turned to face us as if to say BUGGER OFF! Lol! I was having to do all sorts to try and wake him/her and get him/her to move into a different position.

We did get a leg and arm stretch though which was soooo cute to see! But that was about it lol! X

@Marty93 hopefully that's a sign of things to come!
