Me too @coconutlatte44 the only way I can keep anything down is if I take anti-sickness tablets 3 times a day and they leave me completly zombie-like.
Today I've eaten cereal, plain scrambled eggs with no bread (lunch), plain boiled potato and a few squares of chocolate (dinner)....I'm soo hungry but know too much food is not a good idea!
The morning sickness lasted till week 20 with DS Sad...I'm only on wk 13.

mynameisMrG · 23/07/2019 22:56

Awful aren’t they @karryk! Could do without that when I’m lying here sweating away

Kinsters · 24/07/2019 00:18

Sorry the scan wasn't more reassuring Sleeping

Congratulations Bentley! Did your DH enjoy the surprise?

Does anyone know what exercise is ok to do with SPD? I've been going on my cross trainer but have a suspicion that it's causing pain as my pain gets worse about half an hour after using it. It's something that I really look forward to each day and I really don't want to give it up.

Bentley111 · 24/07/2019 06:40

@coconutlatte44 yep me! It is miserable but slowly improving. How long is your group tour for? It sounds painful 🙈

Oh no @mynameisMrG poor you. Haven't had fanny daggers yet, not looking forward to them.

Thanks @Kinsters - yes he couldn't believe it. He still can't believe we are having a girl, he was absolutely convinced that we were having a boy.

DaisyMay25 · 24/07/2019 10:13

@SleepingStandingUp if you have the Emma's diary app they've got this offer on

Wow, @McHelenz. @karryk, @Camomila - sorry you are all feeling so miserable. I'm not vomiting, I just feel very sick and like I am about to. I hope you all find relief soon.

@Bentley111, it's a nearly two week tour through Ireland that I was invited to by a family member - one of those organized ones. To be honest it's mostly been good as it means I can be pretty lazy and don't have to do much to look after myself, and it's keeping my mind busy. The breakfast buffets have been a real highlight as I can take a little bit of everything I fancy which isn't practical at home as my tastes change every day!! The timings of meals are a bit of a pain but mostly it's just the nausea after bigger ones that's doing my head in.

To be fair I could use a bit more sunshine but am probably lucky to be missing the heat wave, it's only been 18ish and cloudy/drizzly most days.

Soph43 · 24/07/2019 10:45

Oh ladies.. I thought I escaped morning sickness.. I thought I just had a bug.. but a bug doesn’t last a week.. I don’t know how you ladies that have/had sickness coped.. how can you function at work 😭 I cant function at home 😂 gender scan on Friday though that will hopefully cheer us up ❤️

anitagreen · 24/07/2019 11:56

Just been to my 16 week midwife appt heard baby's heartbeat very happy 😊

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 24/07/2019 12:04

So I'm going to have to try and arrange a meeting with my manager before I go back to work as I'm currently on mat leave and come back the end of August. AND let them know that I might have more time off for appointments as I'm consultant-led. AND that I want to start leave at 29 weeks again, as DD was born at 32 due to severe preeclampsia, plus they've just offered me a fulltime contract which I have to still sort out.

They're going to love me. I feel so guilty 🙈

SleepingStandingUp · 24/07/2019 12:10

@DaisyMay25 thanks x

Bentley111 · 24/07/2019 14:51

Aw that sounds lovely. Glad you're having a good time. Breakfast buffets are always fab, especially when you don't really know what you're going to fancy day to day. Enjoy the rest of your hols x

Just got to the midwife for my blood test. May just ask if she has enough time to do my 16 week appointment with me to save me having to come back again next week... I'm 16 weeks today and my 16 week check is scheduled for next weds when I'm 17 weeks 🙄

Natwal · 24/07/2019 15:45

@Bentley111 they booked my 16 week for 17 weeks because she said she had more chance of getting the heartbeat. Here's hoping!

Soph43 · 24/07/2019 17:59

Don’t ignore your body ladies... I thought I had a bug and morning sickness but was severe dehydration so I’m hospital untill it’s cleared up :( did get to hear our little babies heart beat though!! So was a lovely positive on a very yucky afternoon xx

Bentley111 · 24/07/2019 18:45

Congrats @Victoriaaaaaaaa 💙 still don't see how 1 day made that much difference 🙊

She did do my 16 week appt there and then. Got to listen to the HB - 145 bpm, apparently spot on. Made me well up Blush

CatRash · 24/07/2019 22:11

Hope you're alright @Soph43. This weather is pretty brutal ATM.

Soph43 · 25/07/2019 16:17

CatRash I’m all good now! Full of fluids and on anti sickness! And looking at next to me cribs.. anyone had these before and has one to reccomend? :)

McHelenz · 25/07/2019 17:10

@Soph43 we have bought the chicco next 2 me dream. Not used but set up and it looks ok! I think they are being reduced in boots baby event next week x

Camomila · 25/07/2019 18:14

I have a snuzpod, the best bit is that you can take the top bit off and use it as a moses basket around the house, otoh the chicco next to me is wider so should last a bit longer.

Does anyone have any sling recommendations, I have the problem of being very short and skinny and I can't get some of them tight enough...the ones that are just a long bit of stretchy fabric look tricky!

Mirana · 25/07/2019 19:42

Ahh congrats on all the scans!!

Bentley111 · 25/07/2019 20:35

@Soph43 my DM has very kindly bought us the tuttini bambini cozee- terrified to take it out of the box 🙈 but have heard good things about them.

@Mirana I'm so sorry you're feeling rotten still - how far are you now? Lol at your new project!! What do you do???
Love the outfit. I bought our first outfit on Tuesday just before the scan (bought a boy and girl outfit for a pic, am returning the boys). So gorgeous seeing it hung up at home 💕

Missmonkeypenny · 25/07/2019 23:16

Camomila stretchy ones are your best bet, despite them looking complicated ( I promise they’re not!). I’m also short and skinny, DH is tall and skinny and neither of us could get anything bar a stretchy tight enough. Look at your local sling library to try one out before you buy!

Cannyhandleit · 26/07/2019 03:11

@Camomila I used a stretchy wrap when baby was little, once you get the hang of it it's really easy to get on, AMA wrap on fb has a really good video to show you how to do it. Also have a look on www.facebook.com/groups/209783279077720/?ref=share there is lots of sling options out there.

L00byL0u · 26/07/2019 10:56

I've just had my scan and my due date has ch aged to 25th jan. Can I join the Facebook group Please? X
