God @mynameisMrG and @MrsM18 please let that be true for me too. Hit 10 weeks today and was woken up at 4.30 being sick... have been in the bathroom every hour since 🤢 I was hoping to feel better but just feel worse!

Glad you're feeling better and the bleeding is easing @Kinsters that's great news.

NoMoreFastCars82 · 14/06/2019 08:30

@Mirana wow! She should not be a midwife!!! I've had to ring the community line twice this week due to this tooth and needing advice on pain relief and stuff and they've been amazing! I told me doctor Wednesday that my lack of appetite compared to last week was worrying and she smiled at me and said it's nothing to worry about at all and it's normal to worry about every little change x

The people who have our babies interests at heart and are in that profession should have a good bedside manner and actually care! No reason to bother being one otherwise x

I think we need a positive day ladies, no mentioning of Mc's and let's all breathe and think positive as we just all end up worrying instead of enjoying the parts of the pregnancy that we can (even with the sickness I am totally loving how much I love food haha) x

SleepingStandingUp · 14/06/2019 09:09

I keep getting really really sharp pains through my pelvic bone, like a 10 pain wise. Pregnancy unit won't see me, waiting on a call back from gynae and gotta trek across town with DS later for a dietician appt and I can vary walk. I just wanna cry. Its like no one cares until you're 16-20 weeks

Missmonkeypenny · 14/06/2019 09:50

Sounds like PGP/SPD sleeping. I had it with my pregnancy with DD and can feel it starting again now with this one.

SleepingStandingUp · 14/06/2019 09:54

I never had it this bad with DS, and not whilst I was resting. I know you're probably right, but that fortnight to the scan and no one giving a damn isn't help my anxiety

megganonion · 14/06/2019 10:14

@sleepingstandingup i am the same. I had pgp early from 14 weeks in my last pregnancy, could barely walk by 30 weeks. This time round im already getting the pains especially around my left hip and pubic bone.. i will be 10 weeks tomorrow. I have already requested a referral for physio to get a support belt.

McHelenz · 14/06/2019 10:20

Another morning vomming 😭. Knocked the rim block in the toilet and flushed it by mistake. Walk downstairs crying that I've broke the toilet 😂. I'm a mess haha.

Bentley111 · 14/06/2019 10:20

The midwife has just called - antibodies were found in my blood and I am Rhesus negative so they need to do further tests on Monday.
She said not to be concerned but I've stupidly read up about Rhesus disease online and now I am really worried.
Has anyone been here before?

MoominMantra · 14/06/2019 10:29

@Bentley111 I'm also rhesus negative and I'm concerned because in my last pregnancy I didn't have anti-d (daughter was the+) Staff said don't bother if you're not going to have more children. Famous last words! I had my blood tests last Wednesday and haven't heard anything yet....

Cannyhandleit · 14/06/2019 10:47

@MoominMantra that is insane they don't do it if you aren't planning on any more kids 😮 because people never have accidents or change their minds! I don't recall ever being asked if I was going to have anymore I was just given the anti d.

MoominMantra · 14/06/2019 10:49

I know, you live and learn 🙈 I won't make that mistake again!

Bentley111 · 14/06/2019 10:56

Well this is the thing, my blood wasn't checked when I mc'd in November and I didn't have the jab.
Glad no news is good news for you @MoominMantra - I do think people should just be given it. I'm so upset 😢

MoominMantra · 14/06/2019 11:01

Don't worry @Bentley111 - it's hard not to I know. If your dh is also rhesus neg. then the baby definitely will also be and won't be affected even if you do have antibodies. Does he know his blood type?

SleepingStandingUp · 14/06/2019 11:01

I have already requested a referral for physio to get a support belt if go calls that might be a good idea. Can't help but think they'll just say it served me right for being fat.

Pains eased off, think painkillers have properly kicked in, made DH take DS to his appt.

MummyBearBoo · 14/06/2019 11:04

I'm working weeks today and apart from sore boobs stomach ache and fatigue my symptoms are much better well nausea is much better!!
Thanks @Kinsters -I think the next week and a bit is going to be the longest if my life!! I think this one is dragging coz first time ignorance was bliss and second time I'd not had a bad result before as my first with DD results were all good. Now coz my second pregnancy ended with a bad result I am more aware and terrified!!
@Bentley111 - my mum wasn't given the Anti-D after mr and my twin (my twin was O+ and I'm B+ and my mum is rhesus negative) as they told her she'd never be able to carry another baby to term coz of the shape of her womb - 7 years on and my younger sister was born 2 weeks late no problems!! Xx

Bentley111 · 14/06/2019 11:10

@MoominMantra he's O positive so baby is likely to have positive blood.

@MummyBearBoo that's really reassuring, thank you. What a shock your mum must have had! Glad your sister was born all ok.

Sorry for hogging the thread a bit, I just feel so sad that I've suffered so terribly from HG only to stumble at a routine blood screening, a basic hurdle. Not sure why it's hit me so hard.

DaisyMay25 · 14/06/2019 11:15

@Bentley111 I'm pretty sure I'm negative (my mum is B- and my dad is O-) but I haven't heard anything about my bloods since they've been done. Hopefully an injection will help you but I know it's a worry this early on. I don't think they usually suggest it til later on unfortunately

anitagreen · 14/06/2019 11:18

Ooh thread 4 I'm due 8/1/2020 3rd baby

Bentley111 · 14/06/2019 11:23

Thanks @DaisyMay25 xx

MummyBearBoo · 14/06/2019 11:53

I meant I'm 10 weeks today don't know where 'working' came from!!

beth3735 · 14/06/2019 12:21

I’m a bigger 4th time mum, still have my mummy tummy from my other 3 😩 I can’t shift this bloating in my tum, yet it can’t be a bump yet as I’m only 9 weeks and I can’t feel my uterus much at all. I hate this in between fat and bump stage 😂 hope everyone is doing ok. I have 9 days until my private scan. The wait is killing me!

KatiePix · 14/06/2019 12:25

@NoMoreFastCars82 and @SylviaUndata thank you so much for your messages of support. Yesterday was a really bad day- but today have managed a couple of ginger biscuits and some yellow pepper strips and kept them down...so far..
I've lost about 5% of my body weight so far and am worried about malnutrition and dehydration for the foetus. I've asked to speak to a doctor this afternoon (my surgery does phone calls back) and think I might need to take some medication as after 3 weeks of being really sick , it's only getting worse. I'm 8w 5d.
Has anyone on the forum taken medication for severe morning sickness?

Bentley111 · 14/06/2019 12:28

Hi @KatiePix I've also got HG. I was started on promethazine at 6 weeks and moved to prochlorperazine at 7 weeks which I'm still on now. It has helped but I'm still signed off work and being really sick.

NoMoreFastCars82 · 14/06/2019 12:35

@KatiePix mention how severe this is to doc on phone. I was offered something for the sickness but I was nowhere near as bad as you and I'm intermittent nausea now.

Make sure you're drinking as much fluids as possible also. Morrison's do a pineapple, guanabana and ginger juice which is lovely and is great for the nausea and also something different than water for you.

All crossed here doc sorts something for you x

KatiePix · 14/06/2019 12:35

@Bentley111 so sorry to hear you are suffering from HG. You poor thing.
I'm not sure I have HG or just severe morning sickness, as I'm only being sick 3-5 times a day and I've heard with HG it's much worse.
My GP is really reluctant to prescribe anything to help and just tells me to rest.
