EDD 06/01/20 DC2. DC1 will be almost 2.5 by then.

I don't really feel pregnant either @Chembecky. I didn't have many symptoms with my first either but paid in the last trimester with pre-eclampsia. Hoping this one doesn't go the same way!!

I'm hungrier, a big more tired and feel a bit nauseous if I don't eat regularly. Odd cramp here and there. If I didn't have a scan at 8 weeks I don't think I'd believe it!

mynameisMrG · 13/06/2019 20:35

Oh @TheOnlyMrsA I’d be upset too, some people can be so insensitive. You buy what you want when you want. And try and block out other people’s negativity.

So fat club wasn’t too bad. Still put on 3lb though so now my sickness has settled I’m going back on plan tomorrow. Otherwise I’ll be the size of a house by Christmas!!

DP made a lovely stir fry tonight - I took one bite and couldn't eat anymore. Had to resort to an egg mayo sandwich and now feel bad. I swear this nausea gets worse throughout the day.. why is that?!?

Chantalle3 · 13/06/2019 20:48

I've only been offline for a day and I had about 6 pages to catch up on!

Checking in on new thread: EDD 03/01/2020, 11 weeks tomorrow and dating scan next Friday.

I've just started drinking the Tetley Boost Fruit Tea with Vitamin B6 as of yesterday (just one a day before bed) and dare I say it, today has been better sickness wise!

SylviaUndata · 13/06/2019 20:55

@KatiePix I was struggling badly a couple of weeks ago I couldn't keep anything down at all. In the end I had to go to the doctor and get anti nausea tablets.
Still not great and sick several times a day but I can eat peanut butter on toast, crumpets with marmite, fish fingers, water (ice cold) and almond milk. And that's been it for the last 3 weeks. I was off work for 2 weeks and in reduced hours this week. But starting to feel more myself. Take it a day at a time and don't be afraid see a doctor if you are struggling.

McHelenz · 13/06/2019 21:04

Cant wait for my 12 week scan, its around pay day and have already seen some cute sets in primark I want to buy

TheOnlyMrsA · 13/06/2019 21:11

@mynameisMrG it's not so much about the buying, it's that negativity. I felt like I'd come so far forward in not doubting my ability to bring this baby into the world and it just brought the fears back to the surface.

Did I read you'd had a scan this week or somthing ok the other tread? I'm so behind 🤦🏻‍♀️ xox

megganonion · 13/06/2019 21:35

Hi all checking in thread 4 already 😱 ive just sent hubby on a 22 mile round trip to our nearest mcdonalds to get me a big mac 🙈 i really hope i can eat it as ive had really bad nausea all day!

mynameisMrG · 13/06/2019 21:36

I understand @TheOnlyMrsA, I’m the same as you. Ill be bobbing along quite happy then someone will say something and you are back in that place again.
I had a scan last week, not got anymore until 12 weeks which is in about ten days

This thread moves so fast! I'm 11 weeks today!

I had my booking appointment today, finally! I'm going to be consultant led, at least for now. The blood test was not pleasant! I'm very used to blood tests but this nurse definitely pushed the needle in too far and every time she changed the vial...omg.. it dug in a little more. Was not impressed.

My 12 week scan is in about a week and a half and I'm feeling nervous as I lost a lot of symptoms over the weekend..it coincided with me starting to wean off my ivf meds which can cause nausea (especially as I was on crazy high amounts of progesterone) so I'm hoping that's the reason for a drop in symptoms rather then another mmc.. I'm still verrry tired so at least that's something and I have had the odd bout of very very mild nausea. Hopefully the little bean is still growing! Can't wait for the scan day, I just want to know if he/she is ok!

raligator · 13/06/2019 21:45

So I’ve been on bed rest for 4 weeks and going back to work next week , put on my uniform today and I look about 6months pregnant. There is NO hiding this massive bloat / water retention!

Mirana · 13/06/2019 22:10

Oof thread 4!!

7+5, EDD 27/1/20 (🙄), first baby

@TheOnlyMrsA My Mum has spent the last month talking about miscarriage. Honestly, I take onboard that she doesnt want me to get hurt again, but I'm also trying to stay as calm as possible and not let it in. You have all my sympathy, it's horrible.

Had my booking in appt today. My midwife was AWFUL. I explained my worries about miscarriage/mmc again and she shrugged me off and said "it's either dead or it's not, you'll just have to wait!" I was absolutely floored. I asked about a reassurance scan, she said it was "pointless" because "the embryo can still die after" and just to wait. And then was like "well I'm not booking you one, you'll have to pay for it". She wouldnt engage in any conversation about miscarriage, risks, anything. She was pissed off I was so early, when I've told literally every practitioner I've met that I have long cycles and therefore am later in my dates. I had a scan last Friday that confirmed I was 6+5 but it was still a shock apparently 🙃 she moved my gestation forward a day to 7+5, then wrote my EDD as 27/1, which is 3 days out, and it just felt like she couldnt be bothered at all. Awful experience 🤦‍♀️

Mirana · 13/06/2019 22:12

I also asked whether my constant nausea and other symptoms were a good sign, and she was like "embryo can die but the sac is still there, you'll feel sick anyway dont read into it" I was just like ??? 🙃🙃🙃

mynameisMrG · 13/06/2019 22:21

My God @Mirana that’s horrendous! How insensitive of her. Can you request a different midwife? Hardly encourages you to call her if you feel something is wrong does it?!

OP posts:
DaisyMay25 · 13/06/2019 22:29

@Mirana that's awful, I'm so sorry you've had to deal with that. You'd think they'd be trained to be more sensitive! That's just ridiculous!!

MoominMantra · 13/06/2019 22:32

Oh @Mirana that's horrible. Especially when you've had a MMC. 😢

MummyBearBoo · 13/06/2019 22:34

Got my next scan a week on Monday it's for the CVS too I'm totally terrified get the results about 4 days later 50/50 chance I can proceed with the pregnancy! 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Bluebelltulip · 13/06/2019 22:38

Wow @Mirana that midwife sounds awful. I would be tempted to complain. She should be used to reassuring people, obviously she can't make false promises but she certainly didn't need to make it worse.

mynameisMrG · 13/06/2019 22:43

Keeping everything crossed for you @MummyBearBoo

OP posts:
Chips84 · 13/06/2019 22:44

Checking in. 8+4, EDD 20.01.2019.

@Mirana that midwife sounds terrible. I would definitely complain and ask if you can get another one assigned. She's meant to be helping you through this, not making you feel more anxious!

MrsM18 · 13/06/2019 22:53

Just checking in!

Baby #2, my daughter will be 2.5 when baby arrives. EDD - 09/01/20

Feeling great the last couple of days which is worrying me 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ back to my usual self, cooking, cleaning & eating healthy - just hoping because I've hit 10 weeks the hormones have eased off a little? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Hope my little bean is still growing strong in there!

MummyBearBoo · 13/06/2019 23:09

Thanks so much @mynameisMrG xx

mynameisMrG · 13/06/2019 23:13

I’m the same as you @MrsM18, I hit ten weeks and suddenly didn’t feel pregnant anymore. I would quite like five minutes of morning sickness each day just for reassurance and then be normal for the rest of the day lol

Kinsters · 14/06/2019 01:44

Hello! 11 weeks today, EDD 3rd January and scans have been about in line with that. First baby (after MMC at 9 weeks and a couple of chemicals). I've had bleeding since week six and it's still going but has calmed down a lot over the past week or so and doesn't seem to be affecting the baby at all.

My symptoms have been loads better the past few days - tiredness and nausea are pretty much gone. I did end up throwing up for only the second time last night though because my quarter aspirin caught in my throat and my gag reflex is nuts right now.

bunanarama oo hey neighbour! How come you're in Singapore? I'm in Malaysia because my husband is Malaysian and we came here for his work and to be nearer his family.

Mirana wow, she sounds terrible. Definitely see if you can request to transfer. Maybe some women would appreciate that brusque attitude but I bet most wouldn't!

MummyBearBoo really hope the CVS goes well and you get good results x

plipliop · 14/06/2019 06:54

Ooh I have such a sore throat today...

Anyone else feel like all they do is moan?!
