Hi ladies

Thought I’d start a new thread as we were close to filling the last one. Shall we do a little check in?

I’m due 7th Jan with 2nd baby.

I've been feeling a bit up and down too.

Keep worrying that I'm not cut out for a third child and questioning myself.

Also finding it hard more people knowing.
I don't know why. It makes it feel too real and I feel scared about everything.

I think the nausea is making me feel that I can't cope. @mynameisMrG I'm sure it's hormones but I'm having an existential crisis here!

mynameisMrG · 28/05/2019 21:49

Welcome @TealBug 😊

Congrats @tealbug! I'm due the day before you! Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy x

SleepingStandingUp · 28/05/2019 22:08

Nausea is easing off but I dosed off in the library and on the train home today lol. So tired I actually felt woozy.

Got date for my 12 week scan, end of June. Just a month to wait!! I'll be 11+2

Toss · 28/05/2019 22:20

@MrsM18 @anitagreen i’m SE London too and self referred to kings. They got in touch about my scan and appointments about a week later. If you’ve already referred you could try and call them to find out what is going on?

Cannyhandleit · 28/05/2019 22:22

I feel exactly the same @plipliop. The nausea is awful, DP was at home today so able to deal with the other 2 but tomorow he is back at work. I don't want to lean on my parents too much as I feel like I'm admitting defeat and this is only the beginning! I never felt this bad in my previous pregnancies.

Anon120 · 28/05/2019 22:47

@Toss I self referred today to kings too! How many weeks are you?

TheOnlyMrsA · 28/05/2019 22:49

@anitagreen I'm in Merseyside :).

And quote gladly as we have amazing maternity care and midwives upnorth couldn't fault the support I've been given thus far! 😍

I'm getting random waves of heat/nausea but nothing excessive and usually when I need a snack. I'm nearly 6 weeks 5+6 tomorrow. Should I be worried?

anitagreen · 28/05/2019 22:54

@TheOnlyMrsA I love Liverpool! And no don't be worried I get them too I think it's our blood sugars lowering I'm not sure! @Toss I think I might call them because it's really annoying nowSadx

Toss · 28/05/2019 23:39

@anon120 ah, cool. I've had loads of recommendations and they seem great. I'm 9+2, so technically end of Dec, but initially I thought later. How about you?

leclarke91 · 29/05/2019 05:15

@mynameisMrG I know you've had similar spotting/bleeding to me, but just wondered if you're still experiencing it? I've had around 12 days of spotting or bleeding as well as mild aching. I know the scan was all fine, but it's causing so much worry.

Morris26 · 29/05/2019 07:34

Hi, congratulations all! I'm 5+1 and after 2 years 8 months of trying this is my first bfp! So nervous, just want everything to be OK! Just wondering if anyone has told anyone yet such as family or work? Think we're looking to wait for a while longer but we're not planning to have an early scan and 12 weeks seems ages away!! Xx

Anon120 · 29/05/2019 07:43

@Toss am 8+2! Ah I didn't know anything about kings it's just my nearest but fingers crossed it's all good :) ps cannot stop eating anything pastry still!! Smashed some Krispy Kremes and brioche last night after dinner 🤯

Chips84 · 29/05/2019 08:09

Congratulations @Morris26.
I'm 6 + 5 now and we told our parents, siblings and I told my closest friends - mainly because they all suspected anyway, and this way they can help me hide it when we're out and I'm not drinking ;)
Have an early scan booked for Friday.

So far still no real symptoms aside from frequent weeing and sore breasts. I'm almost hoping for morning sickness so that it feels more real, or some of my anxiety can be alleviated.

mynameisMrG · 29/05/2019 08:11

I am still spotting too @leclarke91, it’s quite stressful isn’t it. Can you contact your epu again and ask for some reassurance?

Hi ladies please can I join I'm 5+3 EDD 26th Jan having an early scan on 14th June I'll be 8 weeks then, this waiting is torture! Haven't really got any symptoms so still In disbelief, feeling bloated a lot that's about it

LillyLeaf · 29/05/2019 08:48

I've been following for a while so I thought I would join. I'm 5+3 due 26th following IVF. My first IVF cycle miscarried in February so I'm incredibly anxious and expecting it to all go wrong again. I have a scan next Friday and time has stood still. I'm on a lot of progesterone so have sore breasts and had a little bit of queasiness but not sure if it's in my head. I would also like a bit of real nauseous to make me feel like something is going on in there.

LadyChancer · 29/05/2019 09:06

I’m suffering from some bad nausea some days and then nothing on others.

Funny how when you feel sick you wish it would go away and the moment you feel better, you then start to worry about lack of symptoms. 🤷‍♀️

plipliop · 29/05/2019 09:20

@LadyChancer I'm exactly the same! Cannot enjoy feeling well on the rare occasion that it happens!

TheOnlyMrsA · 29/05/2019 09:46

@LillyLeaf I MCed a few weeks ago and here we are again 5+6. I have another scan next week to see how baby is progressing.

Pregnancy is shite in the first 12 weeks - you're praying for sickness and awful symptoms ... then you're desperate for them to go away but when they're gone you worry something is wrong and all that worrying is just enough to finish you off emotionally xox

LillyLeaf · 29/05/2019 10:00

@TheOnlyMrsA I'm sorry you've been through that too. I think because I'm feeling the same as last time it's not helping me feel positive. I also woke up to cramps last night that were more than mild and freaked me out a bit. I think I just need to accept that I will feel anxious and there's nothing I can do about it.

anitagreen · 29/05/2019 10:30

Feel really weird today had some bad cramps earlier wondering if i should call epu I'm not bleeding at all touch wood but the cramps do hurt I don't remember if this is normal.

Sunshine3105 · 29/05/2019 12:04

@MrsP4 @LillyLeaf im same as you girl 5+3 due 26th January.....Blush

DaisyMay25 · 29/05/2019 12:52

@anitagreen how many weeks are you? Could just be things stretching out

MrsP4 · 29/05/2019 13:30

@Sunshine3105 @LillyLeaf Ahh that's brilliant how are you girls doing? I found out when we were away in Tenerife nearly 2 weeks ago the first few days after I found out I kept getting these twinges like little niggles, eased off now don't really get them that much but I've read that it's just your body preparing for pregnancy and uterus making room. I get waves of nausea but nothing worth complaining about but have 5 minute episodes of feeling sick and then it goes, occasionally few pains in my boobs and my god the last couple days especially today the tiredness! I could actually fall asleep standing up! Sorry to hear you had a hard time last time @LillyLeaf got everything crossed for all of us, this is my first pregnancy so constantly on edge worrying, but my friend told me something and if anything is wrong your body will soon let you know so just go with it and try and relax xx
