Hi ladies

Thought I’d start a new thread as we were close to filling the last one. Shall we do a little check in?

I’m due 7th Jan with 2nd baby.

@stressedoutorknockedup I've been taking those and I don't like them - they give me an upset tummy. I'm going to try a different one.

mynameisMrG · 19/05/2019 23:33

@stressedoutorknockedup yes I’m sure it would be fine. I jumped out of bed at half one the other day as I realised I had forgotten to take mine too

@MoominMantra I'm the same. Dizziness like motion sickness most time of the day. I often get car sickness so I keep telling myself it's no biggie. I prefer this than vomiting. loads of hugs. Halo

plipliop · 20/05/2019 06:45

Last week of school.
Roll on half term 💤

Camomila · 20/05/2019 07:01

Morning all, can I join in please?
I'm 31 and pregnant with number 2, due date 26th Jan.

My period's only 2 days late and I had a super pale line yday, and slightly better line today so I hope all is well. I remember bright pink lines with DS but we didn't live near an Asda then so it would have been a different brand.

plipliop · 20/05/2019 07:06

Welcome @Camomila Smile

LittleRedSocks · 20/05/2019 07:13

No line at all today...just need to wait for period now I guess xx

mynameisMrG · 20/05/2019 07:25

I’m sorry to hear @LittleRedSocks, hope you are ok and take it easy for a couple of days x

Morning all, sorry to hear about early losses and worries Flowers

6+4 over here any my god, my boobs are like hot rocks! Without touching them, I know they’re painful. Lots of ladies who had their IVF transfer the same day as me are having scans this morning which is nerve wracking but also very exciting and is getting me in the mood for mine on Thursday!

Beck2277 · 20/05/2019 07:32

What is this nausea about?! Only 4 weeks and feeling nauseous every day for the last few days and the majority of the morning until mid afternoon. Is it normal to get it so early?!

Bentley111 · 20/05/2019 07:34

Sorry to hear about all the losses. Sending love to you all Thanks

6 weeks today - another milestone done.
Have sent an email to HR & my manager this morning informing them of the pregnancy. Awful doing it so soon but I'm in my probation still and hate the thought of calling in sick yet again. Absolutely no way I can work today again... waiting until 8am to get hold of the GP & hopefully get some treatment for this nausea 🤢

Sunshine3105 · 20/05/2019 07:50

Oh no MrG 😔 but you know, you DID ask for them 😉

Pregnancy nightmares started last night, yay!!

mynameisMrG · 20/05/2019 09:22

I did 😩 that and the night sweats! What is that all about?!

OP posts:
Sunshine3105 · 20/05/2019 09:42

mynameisMrG yes i had it same.....i never sweat that much in my life like last two days.....my lower back is so sore....and my boobs sensitive.....but hey we knew ghis would be the price to pay for this little miracle

mynameisMrG · 20/05/2019 09:53

Absolutely @Sunshine3105, I swore to my DH I wouldn’t complain about a single symptom during pregnancy this time as I’m just so pleased to be expecting again. Not sure that’s going to last.

Sunshine3105 · 20/05/2019 10:08

@mynameisMrG well then at least you know what to expect...im a first time mum and soooo scared

mynameisMrG · 20/05/2019 10:35

Aw try not to be scared @Sunshine3105 😊 the first trimester is nerve wracking but the second and third are quite nice

Avocuddles · 20/05/2019 11:00

@Sunshine3105 welcome and congratulations!!!

Feeling like I'm spending my whole life in and out of medical appointments at the moment. Had first (of many....) appointment with antenatal haematologist on Friday which resulted in me starting daily blood thinning injections due to history of blood clots. Had some slight spotting yesterday which resulted in another hospital trip. Looked ok as far as the obstetrician could tell from a quick internal exam, but will be off to the EPU on Wednesday for a scan to see what is going on. I'm really hoping that all is ok, we want this little one so much and after struggles conceiving it feels like a miracle to have come this far. Lots of positive thoughts and prayers please! xx

Anon120 · 20/05/2019 11:08

I caved and bought a few maternity bits this weekend.. just plain stuff like t-shirts, leggings and bras. Can't help but want to just wear that all the time - so comfy! Does anyone have any recommendations for good and cheap brands? X

Sunshine3105 · 20/05/2019 11:28

@mynameisMrG i know....is just all this changes.....

mynameisMrG · 20/05/2019 11:53

Good luck @Avocuddles

Welcome @Sunshine3105

Good luck @Avocuddles - thinking of you

Where did you buy your stash from @Anon120? I've been looking at Zara, H&M & Boohoo - all have really nice stuff. Bought a pair of lovely jeans from ASOS for the MC and just starting to feel the bloat now so have worn them over the past few days. So comfy Grin

Dr diagnosed me with HG this morning 🤢, has signed me off work for 2 weeks and given me some tablets. She did say it's trial and error with what works but I'm hoping these will do the trick 🤞🏼

mynameisMrG · 20/05/2019 12:25

Oh @Bentley111 you poor thing. Fingers crossed the tablets make a difference
