Hi ladies

Thought I’d start a new thread as we were close to filling the last one. Shall we do a little check in?

I’m due 7th Jan with 2nd baby.

@primarywoodle I feel similar right now, absolutely delighted to be pregnant but worrying already about how we’ll cope. DD will be 2 years 2 months when this baby is due and that seems so little. Our pushchair does convert to a double but I never thought I’d actually need to do that! So many mixed emotions.

KMic · 19/05/2019 12:57

Nausea has started!! 6 weeks today and just eating everything!!

winter138 · 19/05/2019 13:05

@Marshmallow1992 congratulations!!
We were TTC for 9 months and we have the same due date!!!

Bentley111 · 19/05/2019 13:10

Congrats to the newbies, it looks like Jan is going to be a busy month!

I'm so sorry @GrandTheftWalrus that sounds awful. Hope you are ok Thanks

@MummyBearBoo what an awful situation to be in. Sending lots of love to you Thanks

Managed to get to family meal last night... couldn't really manage to eat but luckily had DH next to me who was only to keen to have two plates!
DNiece wanted to come for a sleepover after. She's 10 and is obsessed with our dogs... just gone home now. Honestly do not know how some of you are doing this with DC, she's a delight to have but I'm shattered now. Got a drs appointment for tomorrow so praying they can give me something for this nausea 🙏🏼

GrandTheftWalrus · 19/05/2019 13:18

@sleeping I'm only 1 day late right now. Was due on yesterday.

SleepingStandingUp · 19/05/2019 13:35

I think it's one of the hardest things about early testing Grand, hoping things settle down and bean stays rooted x

Cindy61 · 19/05/2019 14:20

6+2 new symptom, bleeding gum...due to the hormones? Hmm

mynameisMrG · 19/05/2019 14:27

I had bleeding gums with my DS. And nose bleeds. Apparently quite normal (though weird!)

@mynameisMrG DH spotted my red bloody teeth while we were talking. The horror on his face! Not sure he's really for what's coming next, childbirth for one. Smile

GrandTheftWalrus · 19/05/2019 15:32

Was the day I was due on i tested. Now I'm late. I haven't tested early since I was ttc with my ex husband 9 years ago.

With dd I was a week late before I done one lol.

DaisyMay25 · 19/05/2019 15:32

@Bentley111 my doctor prescribed me cyclizine due nausea, it works a little bit. She said it's trial and error, there's so many different ones so it's just finding one that works.

Thought I was actually going to be sick this morning, had to wait for it to pass then force myself to eat toast. I had to go back to bed for a full on 3 hour sleep too, I'm wiped out!

Bentley111 · 19/05/2019 15:48

How are you getting on with it @DaisyMay25? Sorry to hear you're struggling too. Just had a nap and am feeling slightly more human.

Anyone else obsessed with cold stuff? The thought of hot food makes me gag 🤢

DaisyMay25 · 19/05/2019 15:53

@Bentley111 it takes some of the overwhelming nausea away so I can eat but I just feel light headed and tired. Naps are a saviour! I'm hoping I feel more myself again soon, the doctor kept telling me it's a good sign so I have to take little comfort in that.

I was told that cold food is better for nausea too so that might be why you don't like hot food, maybe your body is linking it.
That being said I could eat a full roast right now!

SuperStingray · 19/05/2019 16:04

Can I join? Had a positive test a week ago, but been away so not had much chance to process it. Think I will be due around 16th January. I have a 2 1/2 year old DD.

I haven't had too many symptoms yet, other than sore boobs and being hungry, and a bit of car sickness. But now I seem to have a virus, so feeling pretty rubbish. Bit worried to as I think I have a temperature, but we are still away so don't have a thermometer. I made the mistake of Googling raised temperature in early pregnancy, and reading all the horror stories. So taking paracetamol and hoping for the best.

Also feeling a mixture of of excitement, but a bit overwhelmed. I got PND with my daughter, so very nervous about potentially going through that again with a toddler to look after as well. I was so convinced I would never do it again I threw all the baby stuff out...

Beck2277 · 19/05/2019 16:51

I hope it's ok to join! Just had a bfp a couple of days after AF was due for my first baby! Totally shocked, it was our first month trying. No idea what to do next!! Only just got my head round ovulating and all the stuff that goes into conceiving let alone pregnancy!

I've got my booking in appointment on 30th May but before that I've got my early scan that I've booked on 26th when I'll be 7+2 🙊

Bentley111 · 19/05/2019 17:09

That's really reassuring @DaisyMay25 - crossing everything that tomorrow I get something that just takes the edge of it a little. The vomiting I can cope with, and I was expecting in honesty, it's just the constant nausea that I'm struggling with.
Oh really? Maybe it's a subconscious thing then. Dh is cooking a roast this eve and has told me to manage what I can... hope it will go down ok 🤞🏼

Congrats @Beck2277 and @SuperStingray x

poposaurus · 19/05/2019 17:17

Just got bfp today & so excited!!

MrsM18 · 19/05/2019 17:21

Congratulations to the new ladies.

Sending my love to those having a shit time 💐

I'm starting to feel nauseas now, had an afternoon nap earlier and woke up feeling like I'd been hit by a train. Drinking so much lemonade as it's the only thing that's settling my stomach (exactly the same as when pg DD) x

poposaurus · 19/05/2019 17:24

Is it normal to feel like my period is about to start?

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 19/05/2019 17:43

I've been so busy with DD today - I've got such bad back pain and just feel like sitting here and crying 😭

SleepingStandingUp · 19/05/2019 17:47

@Beck2277 just give your GP surgery a call and they'll sort it. basically you need a booking in appt at about 8 weeks, they generally aren't interested before that and your first nhs scan will be organised then too

mynameisMrG · 19/05/2019 17:49

@poposaurus yes I think so. Lots of cramping and pulling for the first few weeks. I’m nearly 7 weeks and still getting it

Thanks @mynameisMrG x

I didn't post much but you all will understand. I've lost my baby, I didn't realise how much I wanted he/she till they were taken away. It was an unplanned pregnancy, I am so so sorry to those who had much wanted pregnancies that have suffered a loss Flowers
